Bill asked Brooke to ride the stallion into the future with him, but Brooke reaffirmed her love for Ridge. Quinn taunted Brooke about Ridge's new marriage, and Shauna took Ridge for a swim to get his mind off Brooke. Thomas insisted that Steffy's pain also had to do with Liam. Steffy remembered her life with Liam and washed her last pill down with beer. When Hope didn't take Kelly home as scheduled, Steffy lashed out at her. Finn interrupted, and Hope expressed her concern for Steffy to him. Steffy asked Finn for a prescription refill, but Finn suspected that she'd become reliant upon the pain pills. He said she wasn't alone, and he'd be there for her.

Marlena worked with Ben to help him remember that Vincent had taken Ciara. Vincent told Ciara that he wanted revenge against Ben because Ben had murdered his love, Wendy. Tripp returned home to visit Steve. Kristen sneaked into Salem with Rachel to support Brady while he waited for John to heal. Jake told Gwen they were done for good. Gwen set her sights on Chad, but Abigail returned home. Lani asked Eli not to tell anyone that Kristen was in town, and he agreed.

Neil and Alexis rekindled their relationship, but tragedy struck after a night of passion when Alexis found Neil dead in bed. Preliminary autopsy results revealed that Neil had died of respiratory failure from a drug overdose. Jason officially moved back home with Sam, Danny, and Scout. Alex called asking for her twin Anna's help because Alex wanted to return home. Anna enlisted Valentin's help to deal with Alex. Jason planted a camera in Brando's garage to keep tabs on Brando, which captured two of Cyrus' thugs beating up Brando. Spinelli set a trap for Peter, using the camera in Brando's garage. Sonny spent an idyllic day with Mike at the race track. Brook Lynn refused to forgive her father for kicking her out of the Quartermaine mansion. Ned was disappointed when Olivia decided to fly to Geneva with Robert to see Dante while Brook Lynn remained in the ICU. Cyrus fired both Bobbie and Monica. Jax's jeweler provided Nina with a promising clue about the heart pendant necklace. Carly went along with Jax's plan not to reveal Nelle's true fate. Michael told Willow that he wanted her to adopt Wiley.

Sharon and Rey argued over her involvement with Adam. Mariah and Noah voiced concern about Sharon putting Adam's needs over her own. Adam remembered Victor and Hope discussing their concerns that Adam had seemed calm after killing A.J. Adam blamed Victor for hiding the truth instead of getting him help after the traumatic incident. Adam remained convinced that Chelsea and Connor were better off without him, but Sharon convinced him not to leave town. Adam moved into a hotel. Chelsea threatened to keep Connor from seeing Victor and Nikki. Summer and Kyle informed Nick and Phyllis that they were moving in together. Nick had reservations about the arrangement, but he eventually offered the couple the house he'd intended to give them when they'd first gotten married. Lola and Theo exchanged apologies. Dan warned Victoria that she'd made a mistake by selling off some of Newman's divisions, but she stood her ground. Amanda learned that she had the same rare blood type as Hilary and that her estimated birthdate was close to Hilary's. Amanda reeled when she learned Hilary had been pregnant when she'd died. Devon grappled with whether to provide Hilary's DNA to determine whether Amanda and Hilary were related. Lily sensed an attraction between Billy and Amanda, but he insisted they were just friends. Chance considered joining the police force. Alyssa sought Chance out, asking questions about what had happened in Las Vegas. Phyllis became suspicious when she saw Chance and Abby's reaction to Alyssa's inquiries.
