Find out when The Young and the Restless' Sophie Pollono (ex-Delia Abbott) will be making her debut in Disney's new live-action series Fast Layne.

Fans of The Young and the Restless are still reeling over the tragic car accident that took the life of Delia Abbott, but there is a light at the end of the sad story: the young character's former portrayer, Sophie Pollono, is set to shine again as the lead in the new Disney series Fast Layne.

Soap Central first reported the exciting casting news back in March, and now Disney has set the release date for the live-action series: Fast Layne will make its debut on Friday, February 15, immediately following the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie Kim Possible. The show will then move to its regular time slot at 8PM ET/PT on Sunday, February 17. Both episodes will also be available on DisneyNOW.

"Words cannot describe how much I love this show and character," Pollono shared on Instagram along with a sneak peek teaser of the series. "I am beyond excited to share it with you guys! Is it 2019 yet?!"

Fast Layne stars Pollono as twelve-year-old overachiever Layne, who finds her orderly life thrown into a tailspin when she discovers a sophisticated talking car named V.I.N. hidden in an abandoned shed. With the help of her eccentric neighbor, Zora (Sofia Rosinsky), Layne embarks on a high-speed adventure filled with bad guys, secret agents, and other surprises to unlock the mystery behind V.I.N.'s creation.

Brandon Rossel will be playing Cody, a cute boy at Layne's school with a talent for fixing cars, while Winslow Fegley will play Layne's nosy younger cousin Mel, a survivalist-in-training who is determined to uncover her secret.

Pollono played the role of Y&R's Delia from 2011 to 2013, when the character was killed in a hit-and-run car accident. She has returned to the CBS soap opera as a ghost and in flashback scenes many times since then.
