Marnie Schulenburg joined the cast of As the World Turns in March 2007 as Alison Stewart. However, Marnie's daytime career did not begin in the usual way. Though hired as a regular on As the World Turns, Marnie made her daytime debut as Alison a month earlier on The Young and the Restless.

Marnie, who took dance and voice lessons at the Cape Cod Conservatory in West Barnstable graduated from Barnstable High School in 2002. In high school, she appeared in musicals and sang in the vocal jazz ensemble. After graduation, Marnie attended and graduated from DeSales University. Marnie recently played Celia in the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival's production of As You Like It and was part of a play reading at the Dramatists Guild of America in New York City. She also participated in the reading of new plays with The Flux Theatre Ensemble.

A former gymnast, Marnie enjoys the theater, playing video games with her two brothers and collecting memorabilia from her hometown of Cape Cod. As The World Turns
