All My Children
David overheard Bianca urge Greenlee to let him take the fall for the Miranda Center scandal. Greenlee refused to go along with the plan. David stunned everyone when he confessed to the Securities and Exchange Commission. David had secretly paid the SEC agent to make certain that he would not have to go to jail. Everyone gathered for the reading of Palmer's will. David and Greenlee learned that Palmer had purchased Wildwind. Jesse evicted the Haywards from the mansion, per Palmer's instructions. JR was bequeathed some Chandler shares that Dixie had refused to take when Palmer had financed the company's recovery. Annie and Scott were aghast to realize that JR was an equal partner in Chandler Enterprises. Tad and JR talked about JR's attraction to Annie. Tad suggested that JR craved Annie the way that he craved alcohol. Marissa tried to dress more seductively for JR, but AJ didn't like his mother's new look. Erica was shocked to discover that Caleb was Palmer's nephew, Caleb Cooney. Caleb had inherited Cortlandt Electronics on the condition that he remained in Pine Valley for one year to run the company with Erica. Palmer also wanted Caleb to change his last name to Cortlandt. Erica and Caleb strongly objected to working together. Amanda discovered the pictures that Damon had taken of Liza. Colby confessed to Tad that she suspected that Damon was cheating on her, but Tad was certain that she was wrong. Damon urged Colby to go to New York without him.

Chris learned about Casey and Vienna's affair, and Katie reluctantly revealed that Vienna wasn't even really pregnant. Katie offered to have sex with Chris in exchange for his silence. When, he called her bluff, she was unable to go through with it. Chris reassured Casey that he wasn't the father of Vienna's baby. Katie realized that she couldn't salvage Vienna's relationship, and Brad was really gone forever. An insecure Vienna moved up her wedding date, and Barbara, who'd overheard Casey and Vienna talking, confronted Vienna about cheating on Henry. Some creative investigating by Barbara revealed that Vienna wasn't really pregnant at all. Barbara threatened to tell Henry the truth; however before she could act, someone chloroformed her and left her in a warehouse. Henry admitted to Paul that he loved Barbara, but he still intended to stand by Vienna. At the altar, Vienna realized that Barbara hadn't gotten to Henry, and the wedding ceremony commenced. Meg almost shot Emily, but Paul burst in, claiming that he'd known that Meg was self-medicating all along. He revealed that he'd set Meg up to prove Emily's innocence. Emily threatened to leave Paul over his reckless plan, but the couple soon reconciled. When the buyer for the hospital lost interest over Reid's departure, Luke resigned from his position, so that Bob could rehire Reid. Luke explained to Reid that Luke and Noah were just close friends, and Luke and Reid decided to figure out where they stood with each other. Alison received a letter from Mick, and burning it turned out to be cathartic for her.

What happened during the week of
Steffy dished to Brooke and Oliver that she planned to tell Ridge and Stephanie all about their mistaken-identity sexual encounter. Brooke and Oliver begged Steffy to keep silent, but Steffy relished the idea of outing Brooke. Oliver wondered how Steffy could hurt her father and Hope with the news, but Steffy said that it was time everyone knew exactly what Brooke was like. Steffy blamed Brooke for taking her father away from her family. Pam visited Stephen in prison, and Stephen tried to persuade her that he had deep feelings for her. Stephen said he had been crazy with grief when he tried to persuade her to shoot Stephanie. Pam wanted to believe that Stephen was sincere, but she was afraid to follow her heart. Stephen held her hand and asked for forgiveness, and Pam admitted she knew what is was like to be crazy. At Jackie M, Whip hired Amber Moore as a designer to fill in for Bridget when she had the baby. Amber surmised that something was wrong at Jackie M, but she didn't get the details. Owen cheered Bridget up with a lively discussion of how the baby would be a surfer, and Amber caught them in a private moment with Owen caressing Bridget's belly.

What happened during the week of
After paying tribute to Alice at the funeral and Horton home, out-of-town family and friends left Salem with special memories to last a lifetime. Hope caught Ciara telling more stories about her missing treasures. E.J. told Sami that he loved her and challenged her to express her true feelings for him. Sami's lingering feelings for Rafe complicated her relationship with E.J. Rafe kissed Sami goodbye and then vowed to help Arianna prove her innocence. Rafe almost heard Nicole talking to Dr. Baker. Shane told Kimberly that he had resigned from the ISA, and begged her to give him another chance. Madeline cautioned Kate to keep her secret for fear of how the truth could affect people in both of their lives. Daniel seemed suspicious of Chloe's questions about the baby's date of conception. Carly confided in Jennifer, without revealing the facts, to determine whether or not she should tell Daniel the truth about Chloe's infidelity. Kayla asked Melanie to end her friendship with Philip. Kayla reminded Philip of the child he had left behind. Melanie forgave Philip for giving away his child, but asked him if fatherhood might be part of his future with her.

Patrick's suspension was lifted, so that he could operate on Shirley. Elizabeth was grateful when Nikolas agreed to cover all of Shirley's medical expenses. Patrick and Lisa celebrated Shirley's successful surgery by getting drunk at the Metro Court Restaurant and then hitting the sheets. Tracy was livid when she discovered that Luke had stolen ten million dollars from her account. Luke tried to get Ethan to leave town with him, but Ethan refused. Jason was released into Dante's custody. Lulu implored Spinelli not to help Jason escape after Franco's capture. Sam and Spinelli had different ideas about how to welcome Jason home. Franco kept a close eye on Harbor View Towers. Maxie was conflicted about ending things with Matt. Franco anonymously sent five dozen red roses to Maxie and then hand-delivered the final dozen. Spinelli managed to track down Franco's mother. Sonny ordered Max and Milo to plant a bomb under Johnny's car. Sonny persuaded Alexis to host a family dinner with Kristina, Molly, Sam, and Michael to secure an alibi. Kristina slipped away from the lake house to spend the night at Johnny's penthouse. Johnny was certain that Kristina loved her father, deep down inside, so he persuaded Kristina that it was time to end their charade. Sonny raced to save Kristina, but the bomb detonated before he could reach her.

Bo and Nora returned from their honeymoon. Bo and Nora were impressed with how well David had handled everything while they were away, but their pleasure quickly turned to outrage when David's hooker stepped out of the bathroom and was looking for the boys. Bull held Nate hostage. Dani reached out to Todd for help. Bull decided to up the ransom price. Dani slipped into the trunk of Todd's car before he drove to meet Bull. Starr and James were involved in an accident that had totaled the car that they had intended to give to Bull as collateral. Starr and James escaped without injury, so they decided to steal another car. James surprised Starr with a kiss. Rex questioned Ford about the briefcase and business card that Rex had found. Ford made it clear that he didn't want anything to do with his father. Blair warned Ford to stay away from Langston. Blair was surprised when Elijah proposed marriage. Blair gently explained that she needed some time to think things over. It was revealed that Elijah had been blackmailing Ford. Hannah admitted that the police were after her because they suspected that she had bludgeoned Ford. Cole was furious when Hannah confessed that she had lied about Todd pushing Marty. Cole realized that Hannah had manipulated him about Starr and James. Hannah was arrested for the attack on Ford. Jessica followed Kelly's advice; she told Brody about her encounter with Ford after the prom.

The doctor was able to harvest stem cells from Lily's twins when they were born. Neil broke up with Ashley because he wanted to focus on his family; Ashley understood. Neil sold Indigo to Jeff and Gloria. Chance's new partner, Ronan, was secretly colluding with Sergeant Meeks. Chance and Heather moved into a studio in Kevin's apartment building. Chloe moved into Kevin's apartment, so she could keep an eye on Chance and Heather. Heather's crush on Chance grew stronger. Nina returned to Genoa City and openly stated her disgust over Chance and Chloe's engagement. A DNA test proved that Jill and Lauren were half-sisters. Lauren did not want to accept Jill as a sister. Jill contacted a lawyer to determine her rights in regards to the Fenmore estate. Victor delivered Adam to Nick's trial. Adam took the stand and pretended to be insane. Adam was placed into the same mental hospital as Patty. Adam secretly tortured Patty by telling her that the devil was going to make her pay for committing murder. Emily and Jack made love.
