Greenlee was startled when Ryan kissed her. Greenlee wanted to talk about the kiss, but Ryan insisted that it shouldn't have happened. On the witness stand, Kendall was forced to testify that the papers that David had held over Greenlee's head had implicated Greenlee in Erica's plane crash. Erica testified that she didn't believe that Greenlee had tried to kill her. Erica claimed that David and Greenlee had been in love. Madison was outraged that Ryan would risk his freedom to save Greenlee rather than put Emma's needs first. Greenlee wondered what Ryan expected her to think if he were willing to give everything up for her. Liza was admitted to the hospital for exhaustion and dehydration. Liza asked that Frankie and Damon not tell anyone because she feared that it would hurt her career. Angie revealed to Jesse that David had been responsible for her losing her sight. Jesse couldn't believe that his wife's blindness was a result of David's budget cutbacks. Annie decided to get drunk after she realized that she had lost everything. JR rescued Annie from disaster when he dragged her away from ConFusion. JR offered Annie the use of the gatehouse until she could find a place to live. Caleb continued to be a thorn in JR's side. Asher revealed that Caleb had killed his mother. Asher wanted to expose the truth about Caleb when the time was right. Kendall was thrilled that Spike had flourished since they had moved back to Pine Valley. Kendall was delighted when Zach returned home. Zach promised Kendall that he was in Pine Valley for good, but a phone call changed that.

What happened during the week of
Stephanie underwent surgery for her stage four lung cancer, and she recovered in the hospital. The Forrester family met Dayzee, the homeless girl who was responsible for Stephanie's decision to seek treatment for her cancer. Amber flirted with Nick in his office and the steam room, but Nick rebuffed her advances. After Nick and Whip reviewed Amber's new designs, they worried about her abilities as head designer at Jackie M. Aggie found out about Amber's wicked ways, and warned Amber to stay away from Nick. Oliver dished to Amber that he had lost his girlfriend, Hope, to another man, and Amber decided to make Hope jealous. Amber made out with Oliver at Insomnia in full view of Hope. Amber also successfully sneaked a few Forrester designs out of Oliver's bag and into her own. Ridge agreed to permit Thomas to revive the Men's Line as a division of Forrester with a signature "by Thomas Forrester." Ridge agreed that Thomas would handle design, marketing, and PR with Brooke helping Thomas. When Taylor heard the news that Brooke was working with Thomas, Taylor was furious with Ridge and Brooke. Taylor said that she didn't trust Brooke to be near Thomas. When Brooke gave Thomas a hug to congratulate him on the new line, Taylor shrieked at Brooke, "Get your filthy hands off my son."

What happened during the week of
Hope had an emotional and heartfelt visit with Ciara. Hope's suspicions about the sudden death of a young inmate concerned the warden. Chad's visit with Stefano reminded Stefano of his early relationship with E.J. Carly felt the consequences of her lies and deception to keep Chloe's affair a secret from Melanie, who later told Maggie that Maggie was her real mother, not Carly. Kayla told Stephanie that she would meet with Sister Ann and try to learn the truth about Chloe's paternity test. Melanie apologized to Nathan and asked him and Stephanie to keep Chloe's affair a secret from Daniel. Sami and Arianna had a vicious fistfight over the tape that could prove that Sami had shot E.J. E.J. was frantic to hear news from Arianna that could prove that Sami had shot him. Arianna was overwhelmed with the stress from everyone trying to convince her to protect Sami and the kids and keep the truth from E.J. After a heated argument with Will, Arianna ran off into the street and was severely injured by a hit-and-run driver. Bo seemed unsettled about Sami and Will's account of why each of them had fought with Arianna. Sister Ann chastised Carly for lying to her and threatened to tell Daniel the truth about Chloe's paternity test.

Mayor Floyd tried to enlist Ronnie's help to get Dante off of the police force through any means necessary. Ronnie agreed to go along with Mayor Floyd's plan, but he gave Dante a heads-up about the mayor's plans. Dante and Brenda continued to privately reminisce about their past association. Swavek revealed that the Balkan expected Ronan to kill Siobhan as a show of good faith. Lucky insisted that Siobhan had to return to Port Charles with him if she hoped to remain alive. Lucky asked Nikolas to hide Siobhan at Wyndemere. Swavek snapped pictures of Lucky and Jason's meeting as they discussed the Balkan's plans to kidnap Brenda. Steve learned that his friend's biotechnology firm had folded because his friend had failed to gain FDA approval for the new drug. Elizabeth was devastated by the news that she had lost the money that she had invested. Lisa continued to push Robin's buttons, which made Robin appear to be unstable. Lisa managed to persuade a hotel clerk to rent her a room near Patrick's. Ethan suggested that Luke fake a massive heart attack to win back Tracy. Maya agreed to help Ethan and Luke. Others also aided Luke as he put his plan into motion. Carly was furious when she learned that Jax had plans to convert several hotel rooms into an apartment for Brenda. Carly kissed Jason, but he made it clear that it wouldn't go any further. Carly admitted that she had set up Sonny and Claire in the hopes of keeping Claire from going after Michael. However, Carly was concerned that Brenda would want Jax if Sonny were unavailable. Sonny and Claire met for dinner and then agreed to start dating again.

Rex learned that Echo had been in Llanview less than a year after she had agreed at her trial to never return. Rex wondered if Clint knew why, but Clint refused to answer Rex's questions. Rex slipped into Echo's room, where he found a half-heart pendant like the one that his mother had worn. Rex realized that Echo might know the true identity of his father. Destiny tried to celebrate her birthday, but her thoughts were on Greg. Vivian saved Greg's life after Eli injected something into Greg's I.V. Greg woke up and then asked to speak to the police. Greg confessed to Natalie that Eli had been blackmailing him and that Téa was at Cherryvale Clinic. Destiny was stunned to learn that Greg was her biological father. Eli held Téa and Dani captive in the warehouse as he made a sizeable ransom demand from Todd. Todd and Blair continued to believe that Eli had Starr and Hope as well as Dani. The police and SWAT team converged on the warehouse. Natalie arrived in time to let Brody know that Téa was alive and that Eli had her. Blair was shocked after she slipped into the warehouse and then stumbled onto Téa. An explosion ripped through the warehouse when Eli detonated the bomb. Starr's attempt to escape the attic failed. James, Ford, and Langston grew suspicious of Hannah, so they decided to stake out Marty's house to keep an eye on Hannah. Hannah tried to work her wiles on Cole, but Cole was too worried about Starr and Hope to focus on anything else. Langston grew concerned when she noticed that Ford had coughed up some blood.

It was revealed that Meggie was Murphy's daughter-in-law. Kay was elated to see Murphy move his finger. Meggie and Deacon were determined to stop Nikki and Victor from eloping. Meggie drugged Nikki and took her to Deacon's motel room. Meggie sent Victor to the motel room, so he could see Nikki passed out in bed with Deacon. Phyllis wrote an article about Diane in Restless Style that divulged all of Diane's dirty secrets. Tucker read the article and reneged on his job offer to Diane. Jack was annoyed with Phyllis because her article might hurt Kyle. Cane realized that he had to pay the Australian mobsters to keep them from harming his family. Lily moved in with Neil because she thought it was safer for the twins. Nina convinced Ronan to send a message to Chance to let him know that his family had not been hurt in the storm. Adam saved Faith's life in the storm, so Sharon was grateful. Nick feared that Adam would use Sharon's gratitude to manipulate her. J.T. regained consciousness after being electrocuted in the storm, but he was still in critical condition. Mac told J.T. that she wanted to marry him, once he recovered.
