Liza realized that David was her only ally. Griffin tried to gain access to Diana, so Ricky arranged for several men to rough up Griffin in an alley. Griffin told Kendall that his injuries were the result of an encounter with a date's jealous ex-boyfriend. Ricky planted seeds of doubt about Griffin by telling Kendall that the drug dealer, who had been selling drugs to the kids at the teen center, had been beaten up. Kendall won the bid for Griffin during the bachelor auction. Things took an uncomfortable turn for Griffin and Kendall when they tried to clarify where they stood with each other romantically. Ricky was furious when he realized that Kendall had bid for Griffin instead of him. Cara won a date with Ricky. Madison was disappointed when she learned that Marissa had bid for a date with Scott. Scott confessed that he had cut short his date with Marissa because he'd rather be at home with Madison. Emma continued to push Greenlee away. Emma insisted that she didn't want Greenlee to take her mother's place. Ryan assured Emma that Annie would always be her mother, but Emma refused to accept that Greenlee was a part of the family. Erica suspected that Caleb had redirected the feelings that he couldn't express for Asher towards her. Erica postponed her auction date with Jack to continue her discussion with Caleb. Opal noticed some positive changes in Tad since his marriage to Cara. Cara and Tad's friendship deepened while Jake and Amanda continued to drift apart.

What happened during the week of
Brooke and Ridge argued about how she and Thomas had defied Ridge's command to cancel the Taboo line. Bill Spencer discovered a memo that Ridge had planned to cancel the Taboo line. Bill told Steffy that he believed something more than advertising was going on between Thomas and Brooke. Steffy scoffed at the idea. Katie overheard Bill admit to Steffy that he had almost tried to kill Amber. Katie went to Nick's boat to get away from Bill for the night. Steffy stalked Bill to his home and dissed Katie, but Bill said he would wait for Katie forever. Ridge took an emergency trip to Paris to handle some company issues, and Taylor tagged along because she insisted that he had to listen to her. Taylor dredged up Brooke's past and her recent disrespect for Ridge and how Ridge always forgave her. Stephanie called and gave Ridge the same lecture. Both Taylor and Stephanie told Ridge that he couldn't trust Brooke. Thomas and Brooke completed another photo shoot for Taboo, and Eric produced designs for the new Taboo women's line.

What happened during the week of
Bo and Hope reflected on some of the happy times in their lives and promised each other that they would find a way make to their marriage work. Ciara mistakenly thought that she was the reason for Bo and Hope's breakup, and decided to run away from home. Sami added antianxiety medication to fake Rafe's coffee, unaware that it contained alcohol. Later, fake Rafe almost spilled the beans about his identity and then went ballistic at Sami for going behind his back. Stefano was displeased with fake Rafe's uncontrollable behavior and decided to end the charade, but was surprised to learn that E.J. objected. Melanie learned about Dario's mission to find the person that had run down Arianna. Stephanie blabbed to Dario about Melanie's past. Dario thought he would warn Daniel of Melanie's shady past and told Daniel to stay clear of this woman of questionable morals, but his advice landed him a punch in the face from Daniel. Dario freaked out when he learned that Daniel was Melanie's dad. Carly told Jennifer to stop trying to push Daniel on her. Jennifer was not happy that Abby was hanging out with Chad DiMera. Chad told Abby that he planned to move into the DiMera mansion. E.J. was jealous of Taylor and Brady's working arrangement and created a diversion to get her away from Brady. Stefano encouraged E.J. to pursue Taylor but warned him to not to be caught cheating on Nicole. Later, E.J. and Taylor couldn't keep their hands off each other. Vivian taunted Kate with the idea that Stefano had a big secret, and she was going to find out what it was. Things soon got of out hand, and Kate and Vivian were in an all-out cake fight at a local restaurant.

What happened during the week of
Things heated up between Abby and Michael when she invited Michael to spend the night. Brenda and Sonny honeymooned in Positano, Italy. Suzanne received a call from her grandson's caretaker. Theo learned that his grandson was on Iberia Isle, outside of Baton Rouge. Suzanne realized that Theo intended to dispose of her, since he no longer needed her. Lisa managed to steal the syringe out of Robin's locker and then destroy it. Robin admitted that she missed Patrick and wanted him to move back home. Patrick assured Robin that he was committed to her and determined to make their marriage stronger. Tragedy struck when Jake Webber succumbed to his injuries during surgery. Carly and Jax learned that Josslyn had cancer in both kidneys. Carly pleaded with Jason to consider donating one of Jake's kidneys to Josslyn. Jason went to Elizabeth with Carly's request. Elizabeth refused to allow Jason to use their son for "spare parts." Lucky eventually persuaded Elizabeth to agree to the organ donation. Josslyn made a quick recovery after the transplant. Carly was rattled when she received a message from Franco promising to keep a closer eye on Josslyn. Dante compiled a list of suspects for Jake's hit-and-run after reviewing the footage from a traffic camera near Elizabeth's house. Dante found a car with Jake's DNA all over the bumper; it belonged to Luke. Luke was horrified to realize that he had killed Jake. Lucky questioned if Luke had been drinking on the night of Jake's accident.

Clint managed to talk his way out of an arrest for the kidnapping and false imprisonment of David. Matthew learned that Clint was suspected of Eddie Ford's murder. David and Dorian quickly mended fences and then made plans to marry. Dorian asked Viki to be her matron of honor. Viki and Dorian agreed that, after years of being rivals, they had become true friends. Nora remembered that she had returned to the Minuteman Motel after the accident with Rex. Rex snooped around at the Minuteman Motel to see if he could find any clues to Eddie's murder. Rex bumped into a porn director who had been filming at the motel on the night that Eddie was killed. Rex persuaded the director to let him review the footage from that fateful night. Rex was stunned by what he discovered on the film. Jack and his friends snatched Shane's inhaler and then fled the gym as Shane collapsed to the ground with an asthma attack. Dani and Destiny were on hand to help Shane and fetch the school nurse. Cutter caught Tess's eye. Cutter invited Tess to meet him at the Minuteman Motel. Brody warned Joey that something was off with Cutter because a wealthy man wouldn't stay at the Minuteman Motel. Todd continued to linger in a coma. John concluded that the assassin had been shot when they discovered traces of blood at the scene of the shooting. A Euro was also found at the scene of the shooting. Later, John learned that Tomas had accidentally used Euros to pay a tab at the Buenos Dias.

Chance confessed his love for Heather, but she wasn't sure she felt the same for him. Abby pulled a Naked Heiress stunt, but when a Chicago cable exec wanted her to exploit the Newman family on her TV show, she refused. Nikki denied that she was drinking again. Billy confronted Primrose about fixing Lucy's birth certificate so the baby could be christened. Kay refused Jack's offer of a business partnership because she was plotting with Victor to teach Tucker a lesson. Daniel and Michael found Daisy in Canada. Sharon's bail was revoked when she tried to go to Bangkok to find Adam. In Thailand, Phyllis and Adam collaborated to find Koa's evidence that Sharon was innocent. Jana investigated Primrose's baby brokering by pretending to be pregnant. Victor led Nick, Victoria, and Abby to think he'd give up Beauty of Nature instead of the one and a half billion-dollar judgment. At a press conference, Victor announced that he was taking Newman Enterprises public. Daniel agreed to help Daisy avoid returning to Genoa City because he doesn't want her to reveal that she had abandoned the baby.
