Jesse was irritated when he spotted Liza at ConFusion. Jesse accused Liza of doing whatever dirty work was necessary to find something on him worthy of reporting back to the mayor. Liza suggested that Jesse had nothing to worry about if he hadn't done anything wrong. Liza realized that David was still in love with Greenlee, so she vowed to make some changes with her life. David took delight in revealing to Ryan and Scott that he had told Madison about Greenlee and Scott's agreement for Scott to keep Madison away from Ryan. Scott desperately wanted to clear things up with Madison, but Madison refused to talk to Scott. Madison lost control of her car when she tried to turn off her ringing cell phone. Ryan, Greenlee, and Scott raced to the hospital when they received word of Madison's accident. Scott gave Madison a heartfelt apology and then confessed that he loved her, but Madison was rushed to surgery before she could respond. Kendall was grateful for Griffin's timely distraction when Ricky tried to get intimate with her. Ricky realized that someone had been in his room when he found that his laptop was not as he had left it. Jack and Krystal kissed and then agreed to take things slowly. Erica managed to sneak a call to Jack, but Spike answered the phone. Bianca realized that something was wrong when Spike told her about Erica's frantic phone call. Erica was forced to tape a message to her loved ones. Caleb picked up on Erica's clue that she was being held prisoner at the quarry. Erica was stunned to discover that her captor looked just like her. Jack, Caleb, and Asher raced to a nearby quarry to search for Erica, but an explosion endangered all of their lives.

What happened during the week of
Thomas and Brooke discussed their joint hallucination in the waterfall after eating the berries. Neither of them could recall anything else. Brooke said it was inappropriate, and she needed to tell Ridge. Thomas tried to dissuade her. Thomas had somehow hidden hallucinogenic berries in his jeans and discovered them at home. Katie returned home with Bill, but Bill was distracted with flashbacks of Steffy telling him that she loved him. At a Forrester press conference, Thomas announced the launch of Taboo for women, and Brooke announced Forrester's plans to donate profits to the war on drugs. She broke down in tears with flashbacks to the island hallucinations with Thomas. Stephanie and Taylor quizzed Brooke about her emotional reaction, and Taylor persuaded her to see a professional. Liam and Hope tortured each other again by kissing and breaking up. Liam insisted they could find a way to be together. Tawny intercepted text messages that Liam had sent to Hope. Tawny replied -- as Hope -- to Liam's text messages, making Liam believe that he had no future with Hope. Amber trapped Liam in another kissing session in her bedroom. His phone vibrated when Hope called, but Liam was in a liplock with Amber and missed the call. Carl again demanded money from Tawny. He threatened to spill the truth about Amber's baby.

Sami discovered the truth that the DiMeras had switched Rafe with an imposter in order to ruin her life. Sami convinced E.J. to watch Johnny and Sydney for a few more days, and told him that she needed time to sort out her feelings. Meanwhile, Sami was ecstatic that she had found the real Rafe, the love of her life. She told him that they would find a way to make things right and get revenge against the DiMera family. Sami told Rafe about their past together, shared happy and sad memories about her children, and talked about his family. She assured him that he would remember their life together and that they would be happy again. Victor apologized to Maggie for his behavior about Chloe, but then told her that he didn't really think that he could change. Jennifer told Abigail not to be judgmental of Chad's relationship with Stefano just because Jack was less than a father to her. E.J. told Stefano that he had decided to stay married to Nicole, but did not reveal that Nicole was blackmailing him. E.J. confided his true feelings about Taylor to Lexie, but insisted that he had to stay married to Nicole. Lexie knew Nicole had something on E.J., but agreed to keep quiet and deliver his message to Taylor. At the hospital, Jennifer caught a rattled Carly by surprise and told her about Lexie's memo and their plan to catch the person responsible for the drug thefts. Carly had a vision of Lawrence, who taunted her about all of her lost relationships and how she had to rely on drugs to get her through the day. Frantic to get her hands on more drugs, Carly called in a prescription, using her birth name as the patient. As she was leaving the pharmacy, she bumped into Abigail, who thought Carly was acting strangely. Nicole seemed angry and jealous of Brady's attention to Taylor. Bo and Hope found time to celebrate Justin and Adrienne's remarriage. Justin and Hope agreed to put the past behind them and remain good friends.

Brenda took to the airwaves in a desperate attempt to get Lucian back. Suzanne fled to San Antonio, where she reunited with her grandson, Alec. Suzanne intended to start over with Alec in Switzerland under her new identity of Sherry Scott. Sonny asked Carly to accompany him and Dante to Texas to help rescue Brenda's son. Sonny explained that Brenda couldn't go because she was too emotionally unstable. Carly discovered a picture of Alec, which made Sonny realize that Lucian had been a decoy. Suzanne gained the upper hand when Sonny, Dante, and Cary caught up with her. Brenda was furious that she had been left in the dark about the search for her son. Jax warned Brenda that Sonny and Carly had a habit of sleeping with each other when they went through a crisis together. Shawn warned Jason that Jax and Carly were gearing up for a nasty custody fight. Jax seized the opportunity to take his daughter home while Carly was out of town. Sam confided to Spinelli that she feared that she might not be ready for motherhood. Michael continued to ignore everyone's warnings about Anthony. Michael was confident that he could use Anthony to clear Abby of the murder charges. Lisa stole Patrick's credit card statements and then made purchases to make it appear that he had been carrying on a clandestine affair with her. Kristina questioned why the herbal supplements that Lisa had given to her looked different from the ones that were sold online, but Lisa provided a plausible explanation. Siobhan discovered Aiden's paternity test results, but she decided not to tell Lucky that Aiden was his son.

One Life to Live
Jessica's new alter, Wes, managed to give Brody and Cutter the slip. Wes went to Capricorn where "he" tried to buy drinks and pick up women. Charlie gave Viki signed divorce papers and then revealed that he intended to move back to Paris, Texas, to rebuild the Bon Jour Café, which had been destroyed by a tornado. Kelly was surprised to find Marty lurking in John's apartment. Marty accused Kelly of throwing herself at John, even though he wanted to be with Marty. Things turned violent when Kelly grabbed a knife to defend herself after she realized that Marty was unhinged. Marty broke a bottle and then attacked Kelly. Kelly was left to bleed to death while Marty made her way to the rooftop to wait for John with a romantic dinner for two. Natalie listened to Marty's session tape, and learned that Marty had changed Liam's paternity results. Natalie packed up Liam and then raced over to John's place to share the news with him. Natalie ended up on the rooftop with Marty, where they engaged in a struggle that left Marty clinging to the ledge. Natalie helped Marty to safety, so Marty repaid her by pushing Natalie off of the roof. John found Kelly clinging to life when he returned to his place to look for Natalie. Kelly managed to identify Marty as her attacker before she was rushed to the hospital. John was stunned when Kelly later revealed that she had heard Natalie in the apartment after the attack. John found Natalie in Angel Square, but she had miraculously only suffered minor injuries. Joey realized the depth of his feelings for Kelly as he watched her fight for her life.

Kevin and Chloe were suspects in Jana's death. Tucker out maneuvered Katherine by going to the Chancellor board. Victor gave Michael an ultimatum, stop representing Phyllis in Lucy's custody case or lose Victor's business. Kevin was arrested for kidnapping. Kay asked Victor to help her beat Tucker in business. Abby vandalized the decorations for Tucker and Ashley's wedding. Nikki and Victor made love, prompting Victor to draw up annulment papers for Diane. Abby sent Diane and Tucker bogus text messages to get them to meet at the Abbott cabin where Abby could prove to Ashley that Tucker was no good. Victor was so incensed that Nikki forgave Deacon that he tore up the annulment papers. Traci blasted Jack for buying Abby's Newman stock. Nick was upset when the media deemed Sharon's death a suicide. Tucker waited on the road near the cabin, thinking friends were coming for a bachelor party. As Abby drove Ashley to a bogus bachelorette party, Ashley realized Abby was drunk. Phyllis hired Leslie to seek full custody of Lucy for Daniel. Murphy convinced Kay to give Tucker a second chance. With Ashley in the passenger seat, Abby stepped on the accelerator and ran over Tucker.
