Stephanie admitted that Brooke's gesture to start the foundation in her name seemed like a genuine move. Brooke said that Taylor had Brooke's blessing to marry Ridge. Brooke symbolically presented her wedding ring to Taylor, and they embraced. Marcus visited Amber with a baby gift, and Amber suddenly had an a-ha moment that Marcus might be the baby's father. Amber panicked, grabbed a lock of his hair, and forced Carl to perform a DNA test, but her water broke, and the test was postponed. Hope and Liam boarded the private jet for a romantic getaway, but skipped the trip when Liam heard that Amber was in labor. In the delivery room, Carl tried to tell Amber the results, but it was too late. Tawny, Bill, Liam, and Carl were all there as the doctor announced that the baby was crowning. Meanwhile, Oliver managed to whisk Hope away to the Big Bear cabin to get her away from all the drama. He proposed marriage and presented a diamond ring to a speechless Hope.

What happened during the week of
Taylor told Sami that she knew that Rafe had her mother's cameo and demanded an explanation. Sami convinced Taylor to trust her, and that she would explain everything to her soon. Stefano banned Taylor from the mansion and warned her to stay away from E.J. Daniel and Jennifer left for their romantic getaway and then made love. Jennifer admitted to Daniel that she was happy being with him, and he told her that he felt the same way about her. A drunken Brady confronted E.J. at the dock and then beat him to near death for his part in Arianna's death. Melanie covered for Brady after she realized that he had beaten up E.J., and then called Dario and begged him to help her get E.J. to the Salem clinic. Fearing a war of retaliation between the DiMera and Kiriakis families, Melanie called Daniel to help her handle a medical emergency. Daniel and Jennifer immediately left their love nest to help Melanie, but were shocked to learn that E.J. was the patient in crisis. Daniel asked Jennifer to get in touch with Carly, who was not answering her cell phone. Jennifer arrived at Carly's apartment, unaware that Carly was in drug withdrawal. Carly managed to cover her condition from Jennifer and then rushed off to help Daniel and Melanie. Dario left the clinic and wanted no more to do with E.J., the man responsible for Arianna's death. Daniel and Carly agreed to find a way to help Melanie explain why E.J. had not received treatment at the hospital. Chloe found a way to turn the tables on Quinn. Kate pressured Quinn to get proof of Chloe's unsuitable lifestyle to make sure that Chloe would never be part of Parker's life. Chad prepared for his big date with Abigail. Stefano was overjoyed at Chad's decision to join the family business. Nicole learned that Brady had nearly pummeled E.J. to death, and then took care of her good friend. Later, she realized that her life was in shambles and that Taylor seemed destined for the same heartbreak and disappointment. Sami and Rafe confided in Bo and Hope about fake Rafe and their plan to take down E.J. and Stefano. Bo, Hope, Rafe, and Sami drugged fake Rafe who finally confessed to Faye's murder after they reenacted the scene of the crime at the DiMera mansion.

What happened during the week of
Kristina and Michael graduated from high school. Kristina continued to try to get close to Ethan. Ethan refused to be strong-armed by Sonny when Sonny demanded that Ethan stay away from Kristina. Sam went to the hospital when she experienced some cramping. Robin decided to run some blood tests on Sam, including a pregnancy test. Lucky was devastated when he returned from Jacksonville without Luke. Lulu was stunned when Lucky told her that Luke had no intention of returning to Port Charles or the family fold. Elizabeth turned to Jason with her concerns about Lucky. Jason urged Elizabeth to tell Lucky how she felt, but Elizabeth insisted that it would be inappropriate because Lucky was married. Lucky decided to burn down the Spencer house. Siobhan raced into the burning house because she believed that Lucky was trapped inside. Lucky and Dante rescued Siobhan when they heard her cry out as the fire surrounded her. Siobhan was raced to the operating room, where Elizabeth made a potentially fatal mistake with the medication. The hospital went into lockdown after Lisa, disguised as a security guard, took several people hostage. Spinelli jumped into the path of a bullet when Lisa took aim at Maxie.

The man with a scar spied on Blair as she stared at a picture of her 1995 wedding while wondering if Todd were the love of her life. At La Boulaie, Agent Kent caught up to the man with a scar. Ford and Tess made love. Ford decided to ask Cutter to divorce Tess, so he left Tess alone at the Minute Man Motel. Tess found herself confronted with Jessica, who told Tess that sleeping with Ford had made Tess vulnerable. Jessica managed to gain control, so she raced to Llanfair. Jessica was furious when she walked in on Brody and Natalie in bed together. Cris kissed Rama and then told her that he couldn't stop thinking about her. Rama was stunned to learn that Vimal's parents intended to fly to Llanview to be on hand for the baby's birth. Bo and Nora's prayers were answered when Matthew opened his eyes. Matthew's doctors confirmed that Matthew showed signs of improvement. Tragedy struck when Gigi succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning after Jack and Brad had locked her in the cellar of a house. Rex was devastated when the doctor informed him that Gigi was braindead. Rex's heartache was compounded when Natalie, unaware of what had happened to Gigi, revealed that a donor heart had been found for Clint. Rex realized that Gigi was a match for his father.

What happened during the week of
John's spirit appeared to advise Ashley, Jack, and Billy. Abby wanted to bribe Diane into changing her testimony so Ashley would be freed. Jill learned that her marriage to Colin was a fraud. Genevieve announced that she was staying in Genoa City. Michael and Lauren ended their friendship with Phyllis. Lily refused to forgive Cane for his deception. Colin survived the fall from the balcony. Diane sold inside information about the Newman IPO to Jack. Victor asked Lauren to be on his board of directors and made a tremendous offer to Kay for Jabot. Taking John's advice, Jack gave up his Jabot obsession. Victoria blamed Billy for making promises he couldn't keep. On the day of the Newman IPO, Diane feigned a miscarriage to get Victor to take her away from the ranch in an ambulance. Reports of Victor's death resulted in the Newman stock dropping. Adam and Jack took advantage of the news to buy low and make a killing in the market. Victor realized Diane had lied about being ill and threw her out of the ambulance. The judge reversed Billy and Victoria's adoption of Lucy and restored Daisy's parental rights. Daniel told Phyllis he was through with her when she was awarded custody of Lucy.
