What happened during the week of May 19, 2014
Upon learning about Brooke's engagement, Ridge took Brooke's ring off her finger and tossed it back at Bill, and Brooke broke up a fight that ensued between the men over Brooke and R.J. becoming a part of Bill's family. Katie told Ridge that they couldn't stop Brooke and Bill, but Ridge continued to try to talk Brooke out of it marrying Bill. Despite Ridge, Brooke and Bill left on their trip to Dubai. Ridge hid his anger in front of R.J. when he saw R.J. wearing one of Bill's sword necklaces. Quinn shared Ridge's discontent and contemplated sharing the sexy photo of her and Bill with Ridge.

What happened during the week of May 19, 2014
Nicole and Eric made love. Sami and E.J. learned that their hit man had not murdered Nick. Theresa ruined J.J.'s first date with Paige. John's attempt to make peace with his son sent Brady into Theresa's arms. Hope was quietly amused about Aiden's plan for the fundraiser. Gabi changed the custody agreement so that it was fair to everyone. Eric told Marlena and Sami that he and Nicole were engaged. Daniel pressured Nicole to tell Eric the truth. Nicole panicked and then tried to convince Eric that they should elope. Nicole lied to Eric and told him that the reason she wanted to elope was that Daniel was in love with her. Abigail was horrified to learn that E.J. had hired a hit man to kill Nick. E.J. asked Abigail to keep quiet about what he had told her. Kate accused Lucas of stealing her gun to kill Nick. Hope caught Lucas in a lie. Lucas admitted to Hope that he had stolen Kate's gun and planned to meet Nick at the park. Lucas said that when he had arrived at the park, someone had already shot Nick. Lucas became a prime suspect in Nick's murder. Sami and Kate went at it about Stefano. Jordan and Ben feared that their secret past would be revealed.

What happened during the week of May 19, 2014
Anna and her team busted the drug shipment that Luke had been expecting. Jordan, several Jerome associates, and Julian were arrested. Jordan was forced to reveal to Anna that Jordan was an agent for the DEA, working undercover to identify and arrest Julian's boss. Anna agreed to help Jordan remain undercover. Luke arranged for a hit man to go to the gallery to shoot Lucas as a message to Julian that Julian could not quit the mob. Later, Luke covered his tracks my killing the hit man. Lucas survived the gunshot, so Luke decided to pay Lucas a visit at the hospital to finish the job. Ned was stunned when Luke threatened to kill Ned and make it appear as if it had been a suicide, but Tracy's timely arrival stopped Luke from carrying out the deadly plan. Luke denied Ned's accusations of attempted murder and claimed that he had merely mistaken Ned for an intruder until Ned had stepped out of the shadows. Tracy sided with Luke and ordered Ned to leave the mansion. Ned vowed to get to the bottom of what was going on with Luke. Sonny called Ava to let her know that her brother had been arrested, so it was safe for Ava to return home. Carly and Franco turned to Spinelli for help with the damaged recording that A.J. had made prior to being shot. Carly was shocked when the cleaned-up recording revealed that Ava had murdered Connie and then had framed A.J. Shawn told Sonny that Ava had been responsible for Olivia's shooting at Metro Court Restaurant. Carly returned to town and paid Sonny a visit, so he could hear the recording that A.J. had made. Maxie received a summons to appear in court to revisit the issue of Georgie's custody.

What happened during the week of May 19, 2014
Chloe stole Billy's sperm sample from the hospital lab, but she later fled when she overheard her loved ones planning an intervention. Kevin tracked Chloe down at the movie theater and convinced her to get the help she needed. Victor hired a thug to beat Ian up, but Ian told Paul that it had been a random mugging. Dylan offered money to Willa in exchange for information against Ian, and he suggested that he and Victor work together to take Ian down. Tyler told Abby that Mariah had saved him from being arrested by sleeping with the man who had intended on pressing burglary charges against Tyler. Tyler refused to turn his back on Mariah when she was extradited to Portland, and his future with Abby remained uncertain. Sharon remembered that her parking ticket was somehow linked to her secret. Austin became irate when Dylan constantly interrupted the cooking show shoot. Summer opened up to Austin, who confided that he'd lost his mother, and Avery was concerned by their bond. Jack surprised Kelly with a romantic lunch, and they later went on a date and began to make love. Stitch confronted Victoria about her pregnancy, and she turned to him when she feared she might miscarry. Chelsea threatened to tell Billy about Victoria's pregnancy. Devon broke up with Esmerelda. Neil invited Hilary to move in with him. Lily declared war on Hilary, and she suggested that Devon seduce and then dump Hilary.

A look at what was happening the week of May 19, 2003
At a press conference, Michael announced that he had decided to let Enchantment fall apart instead of taking it over. Erica later took to the microphone and revealed that she had evidence that proved that Michael had stolen from Enchantment. Erica also revealed that the formula that Lena had stolen was a fake. Lena's mother, Paulina, arrived in Pine Valley. Jack agreed not to press charges against Lena in exchange for her testimony against Michael. Adam posted Michael's bail and asked for his help to take down Cambias Industries. Michael went to Enchantment to spook Erica. Liza, Kendall, Mia, and Greenlee gave Simone the green light to do her Sexiest Man Alive ad campaign. Maggie nixed her plans to reconcile with Henry after he once again declined to be honest with Professor Stevens. David agreed to let Anna move ahead with Leora's operation. Flanders tossed Maddie overboard, and Maria jumped in the water to save her. While in the water, "Maureen" recalled her entire life as Maria. The boat crashed, killing Flanders and injuring Aidan. Later, at Wildwind, Maria told Edmund that she had remembered every aspect of their life together.

Hal overheard Rosanna tell Carly that she was going to make Carly vanish. Jack later searched for Carly and questioned Rosanna. Dusty orchestrated a grisly scene that forced Molly to get the money he owed Spangler. John expressed concern about Bob to Dr. Decker and was later incensed when, after preliminary testing, Dr. Decker advised Bob to continue his duties at Memorial. Barbara agreed to drop the kidnapping charges in exchange for purchasing Monte Carlo for one dollar. Rosanna agreed with the stipulation that Craig accept Lucy and Aaron's relationship. Hal informed Rose that the wreckage from Paul's plane was found off the coast of Canada. Dusty tried to console Rose. Barbara set out to find Paul and Jennifer. Katie was caught off-guard by a thank-you kiss from Mike. Bonnie was discouraged after her first day of community service.

A look at what was happening the week of May 19, 2003
Cassie and Tammy's were unnerved by their encounter with Jeffrey O'Neil, a Richard look a like. Jeffrey chastised Cassie's parenting skills. Harley quit the force. Eden's dinner party with the Santos men and their dates went south after Gus's visit informing her that her "Garden of Eden" escort service was the common denominator in each of the murders. Danny was suspicious after Eden admitted her former involvement with the mob. Eden's hidden obsession with Tony was yet to be revealed to the group. Phillip tried to warn a leery Gus about Alan's unique ability to go to any extreme to manipulate his family to achieve his own agenda and objectives, regardless of the emotional damage to anyone in his way. Olivia knew Lizzie's game, but couldn't get anyone to believe her. Lizzie and Alexandra bonded to find a way to remove Olivia from their lives. Marina's 18th birthday was marred by a dead body, and a romantic encounter about to go south by a surprise visit from Frank, and Ben's discovery of a very dead, Ramon Henden.

Cole pointed a gun as he robbed customers and held them hostage at the diner. Carlotta suffered a heart attack. Matthew wondered if his father would have been proud to hear about Matthew's good grades; Bo wished he were able to tell Matthew the truth. Dorian added her own touch to Llanfair and met Mitch's presumed-dead brother, Walker. Hank presented Dorian with Mitch's death certificate, and Dorian did her best to hide her smile. Walker tended to his injured brother. R.J. attempted to balance his budget in order to open Ultraviolet. Mitch vowed to teach Jessica a lesson.

Luis' attempts to tell Antonio the truth made Sheridan seriously ill. Antonio pushed Luis and Beth to have a wedding. Theresa worried about losing her son and fought to keep Julian away from him. TC tried to convince Sam to fight for his marriage. Grace walked out on Sam hoping he'd understand. Fox tried to thwart Chad's plan to propose to Whitney.
