Cynthia Erivo is a famous British actress, born and brought up in London, England, on January 8, 1987. The actress is recognized as a stage artist appearing in various plays. Her most significant role was the character of Celie in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple (2015), for which she was awarded various prizes, including a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, a Grammy Award, and a Daytime Emmy Award.
