Henry Cavill’s family

Henry Cavill is a famous British actor, born on May 5, 1983, in St. Helier, Jersey. From a young age, he was interested in acting. He got his first major role in the TV show The Tudors (2007–2010), where he played Charles Brandon. His debut film was Laguna (2001).

Henry Cavill became internationally popular when he was cast as Superman in Man of Steel (2013). His strong performance and impressive physique made him one of the most popular actors to play the superhero. Cavill also played Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series The Witcher (2019–2023), He has also acted in movies like Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018), Enola Holmes (2020), and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015).

Henry Cavill’s Parents

Henry Cavill's father, Colin Cavill, was born in Chester, England. His father worked as a stockbroker, managing financial investments. He is head of Henry’s management team.

Marianne Cavill, his mother, was born in Jersey and worked as a secretary in a bank. Even though they were not from the film industry, they always encouraged Henry to follow his dreams. In 2013, in an interview with Daily Record, he said, “My upbringing has kept me grounded. My amazing parents have always told me to remain humble and thankful for what I get.”

Henry has often spoken about how his parents influenced his life. Marianne was supportive of his acting career and always motivated him to keep going. In 2021, on Women's Day, he wrote on Instagram "I'm dedicating this post to the most magnificent woman I know. My mum. An extraordinary, powerful, tough, intelligent, resilient, kind, thoughtful, and caring person, That little boy on her lap learned an awful lot about what it is to be a good man from her.”

Henry Cavill’s brothers

Henry Cavill has four brothers. On Jimmy Kimmel Live, he said, “I have four brothers, I’m number four out of five, so the second youngest. ... The eldest gets the toughest game, 100% because they get all the discipline. By the time it gets to us, it’s all just free-for-all.” He has often joked about how his brothers were tough on him, but they also helped him become strong and determined. Henry has said that his brothers have always been his biggest supporters, and he feels lucky to have such a close family.

His brothers are Piers, Niki, Simon, and Charlie Cavill. Each one of Henry’s brothers is in a different career. Piers Cavill is Henry’s older brother. He served in the British military and now he is working in an architecture and construction company as director. Nick Cavill is the second oldest brother. He is a soldier in the Royal Marine and in 2014, he became an ambassador for the Royal Marines Charity. Simon Cavill is the third oldest brother of Henry, he works as director and compliance officer in Jersey. Charlie Cavill is the youngest brother of Henry, he works in the business sector. Charlie is a marketing consultant and he also co-founded Cavill & wicks Inc.
