Born July 10, 2001, Isabela Yolanda Moner, known professionally as Isabela Merced since 2019, is an American actress best known for her role in 100 Things to Do Before High School. She started acting at the age of six in her local community theatre and then booked her first job in a commercial. However, Merced’s official role came at the age of 10 when she was cast in a Broadway production of Evita. That kicked off her career, as two years later, she starred in her first feature film The House that Jack Built in 2013 before making her first appearance on television in Growing Up Fisher.

Merced’s first major role was a voice role, where she voiced Kate in Dora and Friends: Into the City! She also appeared in several Nickelodeon-related films and series, including Splitting Adam, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and more. At the same time, she began her career as a musician, with her debut album being released in 2015. Merced continued climbing the ladder with roles in Transformers: The Last Knight, Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Instant Family, and more in the years since. Not only that, she was also nominated for several awards, including four Imagen Awards (winning three) and two Young Entertainers Awards (winning 1) over the course of her career.

Who are Isabela Merced's parents?

Isabela Merced was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Katherine, who was born in Lima, Peru, and Patrick Moner, who was born in Louisiana. She has two brothers, Jared and Gyovanni. While little is known about her father, Patrick, it is known that he is a firefighter, as per an interview Merced gave in 2014.

There is little information available about her mother, Katherine, but it is known that she has been battling cancer for a long time.
