Smith is the nephew of British billionaire Richard Brandon and met Winslet while the actress was vacationing in the Caribbean with her kids. The two reportedly hit things off and then secretly got married about a year after they started dating. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family of the couple, including Leonardo DiCaprio, who walked her down the aisle as per the Times.
