The American actress Lauren Cohan is best known for her role as Maggie Rhee in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead (2011–2018; 2020–2022). She returned for the same role in The Walking Dead: Dead City (2023–present).


Cohan earned her first significant supporting role in 2007 when she was chosen to play Bela Talbot in season three of Supernatural. She later appeared in several television series and movies.

Lauren Cohan is best known for her portrayal of Maggie Rhee in the AMC post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead (2011–2018; 2020–2022). The actress reprised the same role in the sequel series Walking Dead: Dead City (2023–present). Cohan won multiple awards for her performance in the series.


Maggie is Beth Greene's sister and the self-assured and athletic eldest daughter of Hershel (Scott Wilson). She lost her mother at an early age and spent her entire childhood on her father's farm. As the pandemic started, Hershel surrounded the Greenes and their friends on the farm. Her formerly strong sense of religion started to wane during this time, and she began questioning her beliefs.
