Who were Pom Klementieff’s parents?

Klementieff was born on 3rd May, 1986, to Yu Ri Park and Alexis Klementieff. Alexis served as a consul for the French Government, and his job meant the family moved a lot, from Japan to Côte d’Ivoire, eventually settling in France. Her parents chose the name "Pom" because it resembles the pronunciation of the Korean words for "spring" and "tiger.” Klementieff's diplomat father tragically passed away when she was five years old. Her mother was also not well, as she suffered from schizophrenia, and she couldn't take care of Pom and her brother. They were raised by their paternal uncle and aunt.
The uncle passed away on her 18th birthday. In an interview with KoreAm, the actress shared-
“My uncle was like my second father,” she said. “When he died, I first went to law school to please my aunt, but it just wasn’t for me. Then I worked as a waitress and saleswoman in Paris. I didn’t want to do that for the rest of my life. I was 18 and wanted to do something that can help me express my feelings.”
Who was Pom Klementieff's brother?

Pom Klementieff had an elder brother, Namou Klementieff. Namou looked after Pom both as a brother and a guardian. The age difference between them was only three years. Tragically, Namou committed suicide on Pom’s 25th birthday, after which Klementieff said-
“Now I’m afraid of somebody else dying on my next birthday”, then she further added, “But it’s life, you know? Moving here, it was tough and complicated. But I wanted to move. I wanted to be free of drama, and have a new story to tell.”
