Tom Holland is one of the most popular young actors in Hollywood. He is a British actor born on 1st June 1996, in Kingston, south-west London. He began his career at the age of 9 with the musical, Billy Elliot the Musical. Currently, he has a career that spans more than a decade, where he transformed from being a theater prodigy to a world-famous actor.

Tom made his film debut in 2012 with the film The Impossible where he plays the role of a teenager who got trapped with his family in the Indian Ocean earthquake in 2004. He was praised for his performance by the critics and won many awards for this role including the London Film Critics Circle Award for Young British Performer of the Year. In 2015, he starred alongside Chris Hemsworth and Cillian Murphy in the film, In the Heart of the Sea. For this film, he lost weight and did most of his stunts on his own.

Tom Holland's upcoming projects include two Marvel Cinematic Universe films including Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man 4. Both films are expected to be released in 2026. He will also be a part of Christopher Nolan’s untitled film alongside Matt Damon, which is set to be released in 2026. It will be Tom’s first collaboration with Christopher Nolan.

Tom Holland signed a 6 film deal with Marvel Studios in which he will play the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 2015. He got the part after competing against 1500 teenagers all over the world. He has been fond of Spider-Man since his childhood. The producers were impressed with his performance in previous projects and he also has experience in dancing and gymnastics. He was introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War (2016). The film was the highest-grossing film that year.
