Kaitlyn Dever's parents are Kathy and Tim Dever. She has a younger sister named Jane and an older sister named Mady.

Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever is an actor who is best known for her roles in the series Justified, Last Man Standing, and Unbelievable amongst other shows. She made her acting debut in 2009 with a role on An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong as well as Make It or Break It amongst other shows. But it took two more years for her to earn her breakthrough role, with a role on Justified. From there, Dever’s career went on an upward track as she gained recognition for roles in various television series. That includes Last Man Standing with a regular role spanning 10 years as well as Unbelievable. For her role in the latter as well as Dopesick, she earned Golden Globe Award nominations as well as a Primetime Emmy nomination for the latter.

Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever was born December 21, 1996 in in Phoenix, Arizona to Kathy and Tim Dever. Both of Dever’s parents were ice-skating coaches over the course of Dever’s childhood and her father, Tim, also briefly voiced the title character in PBS’ Barney and Friends. Her mother, Kathy, unfortunately, passed away in February 2024 after a 14-year battle with breast cancer. Dever shared a memorial post on Instagram and even shared that her mother had been battling cancer for years in October 2020.

Kaitlyn Dever’s Siblings

Kaitlyn Dever has two siblings: an older sister named Mady Dever, who is an actor, director, and composer, and a younger sister named Jane. While little to no information is available about her younger sister, it is known that her older sister, Mady, was a screenwriting student at Chapman and is currently an entertainer. She has acted, directed, and composed Beulahbelle: Raleigh, acted in the Finish Line, and composed the soundtrack for Bad Boy as well.

Not only that, alongside her sister Katilyn, Mady has performed several original songs, calling themselves Beulahbelle, a family name. They’ve been doing so since they were pre-teens and have continued singing and performing as adults as well, even doing so at NFWW in 2017.
