Quinn Lundberg's life & career
Lundberg earned a degree in International Conflict Resolution from Hunter College's CUNY Baccalaureate Program in 2010. She studied as a dancer and volunteered for UNICEF's web production team while she was a student.
She became interested in using grassroots organizations to help local people after visiting Africa, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. Alongside co-founder and CEO Melissa Leschuck, Lundberg was vice president and co-founder of Growing Voices, which was based in Brooklyn, New York.
Growing Voices was established in 2008 as an online forum that provided assistance to "community-based projects and organisations that encourage development and reconstruction at the local level," as stated on the website of the group. The foundation sought to offer grassroots giving methods that were easily accessible, such as educational sessions and volunteer labour that was free of cost.
After eight years of charitable work, which included establishing a domestic violence center in North Carolina and “support big change in a small Northern fishing village of Malawi, Africa, and give flight to the goals and visions of local leaders in the region,” Lundberg and Leschuck disbanded Growing Voices in 2016.
In 2018, Lundberg also attended UCLA to pursue a master's degree in public policy, according to an interview with Los Angeles magazine. According to the publication, she co-founded LOOM, the first inclusive parenting center in Los Angeles, in October 2017 with social entrepreneur, author, and former doula Erica Chidi.
LOOM's website recently announced that the center had finally transformed "into a digital destination," adding that it was beginning a "new chapter" after being purchased by Perelel, a women's health organisation. However, Chidi was the only employee still working at LOOM, according to a TechCrunch report published in October 2024, before the acquisition.
