GH star Carolyn Hennesy on her new film, The Wedding Do-Over
General Hospital star Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) previews her new movie, The Wedding Do-Over.

She may not be seen as much as fans might want on General Hospital these days, but that doesn't mean Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller) is twiddling her thumbs, waiting to get back to Port Charles. The actress has been keeping busy with a new project titled The Wedding Do-Over.

The film, currently in production for the family-friendly Pixl network, tells the story of a Marine (Stephen Colletti, One Tree Hill, Laguna Beach) who gets a wedding do-over because he and his bride only had time to tie the knot in a quick civil ceremony before he left to serve time overseas. Hennesy plays the character's mom.

"It's just a wonderful, very sweet little rom com," she tells Soaps In Depth.

But of course, there's a thorn in what would otherwise be a very pretty rose garden: the wedding planner who is arranging the do-over celebration happens to be the ex who broke the Marine's brother's heart. "He's going to work very closely with her to help with his brother's wedding do-over," Hennesy previews. "Naturally, they talk about their breakup and how she sort of left him at the altar. And one thing leads to another..."

An airdate for The Wedding Do-Over has yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for more information as its released.
