GH casts Y&R alum Don Swayze as new character Buzz
Soap alum Don Swayze (ex-Shawn Roberts, The Young and the Restless) has joined the cast of General Hospital as the new character of Buzz.

General Hospital's Port Charles residents will be meeting someone new in 2017. The ABC soap has cast soap opera alum Don Swayze for the new role of Buzz.

Swayze, who previously played Shawn Roberts on The Young and the Restless and a pawn broker on Days of our Lives, takes on the role of the homeless man beginning Thursday, January 5, reports the latest issue of ABC Soaps In Depth. Buzz will become involved with the current story playing out for Julian (William deVry) when he makes his debut.

In addition to his soap roles, Swayze has appeared on several primetime hits, including True Blood, The Bridge, and Carnivale. And in case you missed the striking resemblance in his photo, Don is the younger brother of late actor Patrick Swayze.

What do you think about GH's latest casting choice? How do you think Buzz will play into Julian's storyline? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
