Is David Fumero (Cristian Vega) preparing to walk away from One Life to Live? At least one published report seems to indicate that the actor might be leaving Llanview in the upcoming months.
Fans should know that all hope it not yet lost. According to show sources, Fumero and One Life to Live execs are still actively engaged in talks. There is still plenty of time for both sides to reach an agreement. Fumero's contract doesn't expire until later this summer, reportedly at the end of August.
Citing an insider, Soap Opera Digest, however, reports that Fumero will more than likely walk at the conclusion of his current contract.
Though perhaps the best-known Cristian, Fumero is not the only actor to play the role. Yorlin Madera originated the role in May 1995. Madera remained with the show through early 1998. Fumero took over in June 1998. Since that time, Fumero has made several brief exits from the show. The actor rejoined the show full-time in September 2005.
Fumero married former One Life to Live co-star Melissa Gallo (ex-Adriana Cramer) in 2007.
