"We Board the Princess Andromeda", the third episode of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2, streamed this Wednesday. The episode focused on the characters' experiences in the mysterious cruise ship, Princess Andromeda. The last act of this episode also introduces us to a major thing from the Percy Jackson lore.

An adaptation of the second book, The Sea of Monsters, season 2, will see our heroes on a journey to the mythical Sea of Monsters. Percy will be put through a wringing trial to save Grover, who is Polyphemus's captive in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Like the first season, season 2 is also stacked with several talented actors, like Timothy Simons.

However, one of the surprising aspects of the latest episode is that the important scenes of the episode are given to six actors.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Episode 3 cast:

Here are all the actors in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Episode 3 cast:

  • Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue)

Dior Goodjohn is the very first actor appearing in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2, Episode 3. Goodjohn got bumped up to a main role in this season, as Clarisse is the one on the quest. After hearing the Oracle's prophecy, Clarisse sets out on the quest all alone, but she comes across her father midway. Ares surprises her with a submarine and crew for the quest.

  • Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson)

A year older from the events of season 1, 13-year-old Percy Jackson has to brave the Sea of Monsters to save Grover in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. While he is not on a quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece (that one is on Clarisse), Percy is on a completely different quest to save Grover. Moreover, he has to be the same supportive presence for his cyclops half-brother, Tyson, that Sally was for him. Scobell himself teased this earlier this year:

"I think definitely. I think from the very beginning, basically the first scene, you see Sally treating Tyson the same way that you kind see her treating Percy in the first season. When we get to Camp Half-Blood, things are weird because I have to be [Tyson's] mom, I guess, or his big brother to take care of him. I'm his guardian, and so I have to take care of him, and so I have to get that through my head. I treat him a little differently at the start."
  • Leah Jeffries (Annabeth)

The daughter of Athena, Annabeth, is one of the smartest demigods in every Percy Jackson adventure. Introduced in the first season, she is a skilled fighter armed with a knife and the invisibility cap. After trying to keep The Great Prophecy, she tells Percy the part she knows: A demigod who is a part of The Big Three will decide the fate of Olympus after reaching their 16th birthday.

  • Daniel Diemer (Tyson)

Daniel Diemer joined the cast in the second season as Tyson, a gentle cyclops who is Percy's half-brother, as Poseidon claims him. The third episode highlights Tyson's smart side as he, Percy, and Annabeth escape Princess Andromeda.

  • Beatrice Kitsos (Alison Simms)

Beatrice Kitsos's Alison "Ali" Simms is the new character exclusively introduced in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Ali is not a character from the books, giving writers the freedom to do whatever they want. A daughter of Apollo, Ali is one of the few demigods who graduated from Camp Half-Blood. She has joined Luke as a part of Kronos's army.

  • Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan)

Luke was one of the supporting characters in the first season, and he is the one who trained Percy in combat. However, the season 1 finale also reveals that he was the mastermind who stole Zeus's lightning bolt and Hades's Helm of Darkness. We learn that Luke is frustrated with Gods after years and years of seeing demigods struggle, and Kronos manipulates the boy into joining him.

Episode 3 of this season is currently accessible via streaming on Disney+.
