Taylor and Ridge informed their kids that Ridge would be home with them. Ridge spent a platonic night with Taylor, and she asked him if he had any regrets. Ridge had regrets about Brooke but said he'd focus on Taylor because Brooke had chosen Deacon. Brooke sent Liam on a failed mission to get a message to Ridge, but the next day, Ridge informed Brooke that he'd spent the night with Taylor. Though he said he loved Brooke with everything within him, he couldn't do it anymore, and he walked out. Sheila found out about Ridge and Brooke's split and told Deacon that his long-awaited chance with Brooke might really happen. No longer able to stay away from Carter, Paris showed up at his doorstep, and the two gave in to a passionate kiss.

Nicole accused Ava of framing Rafe. Rafe told Ava that he loved Nicole. Nancy talked to Marlena about Craig. Craig asked Chloe to meet his boyfriend. Nicole worked to exonerate Rafe. Ava accidentally told Allie about Tripp's planned proposal. Tripp asked Chanel for advice. Devil Johnny convinced Gabi to get revenge on Jake. Julie suggested to Ben and Ciara that the devil was still in Salem. Ciara guessed that Johnny was possessed.

After escaping from Peter, Maxie ran into Felicia on the road as Felicia arrived to rescue her daughter. Peter managed to force Maxie and Felicia's car off the road. When Peter confronted Maxie with a gun, Felicia gained the upper hand and struck Peter with a tire iron. Anna decided not to call for an ambulance because she wanted to make certain that Peter succumbed to his head injury. Anna held Peter's hand as he took his last breath. Maxie was reunited with her daughter, and she decided to honor Brook Lynn by naming the baby Bailey Louise. Sonny and Carly reached an agreement about their divorce. Sonny moved into the penthouse. Carly and Ava discussed Avery's visitation. Nina talked to Sonny about his drinking and the effect that it had on his medication and mental health. Brando and Sasha made plans for a romantic getaway. Sasha reconnected with an old acquaintance who offered Sasha drugs. Curtis and Drew made a decision about how to proceed with Marshall. Stella offered Portia some advice. Tensions mounted between Esme and Josslyn when Josslyn made it clear that she did not trust or like Esme. Laura set some ground rules for Esme. Phyllis discovered that the address in the mysterious text messages Jack had received belonged to someone with the same name as Luan's deceased father. Phyllis theorized that Keemo had sent the messages, but Jack sadly revealed that he and Keemo had been estranged for years. Jack was devastated when Phyllis found Keemo's obituary online. Phyllis turned down the job offer in Milan, though she claimed Jack had nothing to do with her decision. Abby, Chance, Devon, and Amanda sat vigil after Dominic's bone marrow transplant. Nate announced that Dominic's health had greatly improved after the procedure. Chance made an appointment with a therapist. Nate became suspicious about Victor and Michael's questions about Ashland. Nate solicited Lily's advice about whether to accept Ashland's job offer, and she suggested Nate work with her at Chancellor instead. Nate later announced his decision to leave medicine to work for Ashland. Victoria sensed that Adam and Sally's relationship was more than professional. Adam refused to spy on Ashland for Victor but later agreed to do it. Michael presented Victor with a video of a Peruvian doctor who claimed Ashland had paid a bundle to falsify his medical records. Billy warned Victoria that Ashland couldn't be trusted. Ashland convinced Victoria to make him co-CEO of Newman Locke. Mariah and Tessa brainstormed ideas for their wedding. Faith considered going to college in Genoa City to stay close to Moses, but she worried about her family's reaction.
