Thomas struggled with the idea of keeping Sheila's secret, but Sheila tried to convince him that his family's happiness depended on it. Steffy became suspicious of Thomas' empathy toward Brooke. Thomas tried to deter Hope from fighting for Brooke's marriage and indicated that he'd do anything to support his parents' reunion. Hope and Steffy clashed when Steffy walked in on Hope telling Ridge that he was essentially cheating on Brooke with Taylor. Sheila persisted in getting Deacon to go after Brooke, but when Deacon visited Brooke with a gift, she told him that she'd decided to fight for her marriage. Taylor slowed things down with Ridge and put off being intimate until he was sure about what he wanted. Grace and Paris argued about Paris' relationship with Carter. Siding with Grace, Carter advised Paris to accept if Zende should propose marriage.

Cameron and Josslyn struggled as they dealt with the fallout from the video recorded of them during their first intimate night. Trina told Spencer that they couldn't remain friends as long as Esme was a part of his life. Esme took steps to frame Trina for posting "revenge porn." Carly confronted Esme about the illicit video, but Esme used the opportunity to manipulate Nikolas into defending her. Carly helped Drew out of a tricky situation. Drew, Sam, and Dante learned that Victor wanted information about something named Project Demeter from Drew's Navy SEAL days. Elizabeth was stunned when Jake revealed that he had been talking to her parents the night of the fire in Franco's studio. Nina helped Sonny realize that it was time for him to stop drinking. Sonny approached Michael and Willow about Nina having a visitation schedule with Wiley, but Michael and Willow refused to consider it. Michael was arrested for assaulting a reporter. Willow fainted. Anna and Felicia found proof that Luke had been murdered. Monica decided to have Jason legally declared dead. Before Shawn left town, he and Alexis had a difficult conversation. Selina had a business proposition for Curtis, but he declined.

Victor received bank statements Michael had sent before his disappearance, proving that a shell company owned by Ashland had deposited large sums of cash into the account of the Peruvian doctor who'd claimed he'd been paid to falsify Ashland's medical records. Victor showed the statements to Victoria, whose faith in Ashland began to waffle. Victor appealed to Nick to try to make Victoria see reason. Adam was appalled that Nick was Victor's strategy to combat Ashland, and he asserted that Victoria was the one who'd failed their family. Victoria started to voice her doubts to Nick, but Ashland interrupted. Nate confronted Ashland with medical evidence that Ashland had faked his cancer diagnosis. Ashland threatened to have Nate's medical license revoked and claimed he could prove his innocence. Nate went to Victor and Adam and announced he had the smoking gun they'd been looking for. Sally sought Sharon's advice about Adam. Lauren's worry about Michael's absence escalated when Sally blabbed that Victor was having his people search for Michael in Peru. Chelsea and Sally declared a tentative truce. Jack learned that Allie was Keemo's daughter and that Keemo had claimed he'd never met his father. A shell-shocked Allie told Jack that she wasn't interested in getting to know him, but she later gifted him with a figurine that Keemo had treasured. Jack decided to return to Genoa City without figuring out who'd sent the mysterious text messages that had lured him to L.A.
