At A Glance


When The Young and the Restless decided to recast the pivotal role of Victor's son, Adam Newman, in early 2019, the powers that be found talented actor Mark Grossman for the part. The Maryland native stepped into the role previously held by Michael Muhney and Justin Hartley, making his on-screen debut on May 13.


Grossman's love of acting came at an early age while he was growing up in Arizona, where his family moved when he was a child. Upon landing the role of the Beast' in a school rendition of Beauty & the Beast, he decided to pursue a career in acting after graduating from high school. He booked a handful of local indie films before making a move to Los Angeles, where he quickly secured representation, continued training and hit the audition circuit.


Once in Los Angeles, it didn't take Grossman long to find success as a model and professional performer. He landed several leading and supporting roles in television shows, made-for-TV movies, and independent features. Some of his credits include a recurring role on Freeforms' Famous in Love, a role in the coming-of-age feature Get Big, the film Babysitter's Nightmare opposite Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker, Days of our Lives), the movie South32 opposite Sean Kanan (ex-Deacon Sharpe, Y&R/The Bold and Beautiful) and Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie Buchanan, One Life to Live; ex-Serena Mason, Days of our Lives), and Nightmare Cinema, which also starred General Hospital star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos).
