Maeve was born in Chicago. She was born to Irish parents who named her after the first queen of Ireland. Of her many talents, Maeve has been a competitive tennis player. At only four years old, she began playing tennis and played in her first professional tournament when she was sixteen. She earned a full tennis scholarship to both Northwestern and USC. She studied theater at both schools. Maeve's tennis skills put her in Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, the French Open, and the Australian Open.
When Maeve tore her ligament while playing tennis she began seriously pursuing her acting career. She moved back to Chicago, where she appeared in commercials, regional theatre, and modeled. When she moved back to Los Angeles, she landed the role of Megan on B&B.
