What happened during the week of
Hope attended a therapy session to analyze why she was so afraid of intimacy. With Brooke in the room, Hope shared that Brooke had always been a sex symbol, and Hope did not want to be the same kind of person. The therapist prescribed some antianxiety medication for Hope. Liam made a romantic dinner for Hope, and she worried again about Steffy's accusations of adultery. Hope took one of the antianxiety pills, washed it down with some wine, and made love with Liam. She was relaxed and happy. Steffy almost gave Liam an annulment, but Bill talked her out of it. Bill advised Steffy to return to Aspen, and Steffy agreed. Steffy shared the news with Ridge and Brooke that she had planned an extended vacation in Aspen. Ridge was concerned, and Brooke suggested anywhere but Aspen.

What happened during the week of
Billie returned to Salem as the co-CEO of Countess W. Later, she, Kate, and Lucas enjoyed a long-awaited family reunion. Bo's condition worsened, and he slipped into a coma. Hope was frantic to be by Bo's side, but Stefano used his connections to hold Hope and John's passports so that they could not leave Alamainia. When Hope finally got through to Bo's hospital room, she seemed surprised and concerned when Billie answered the phone, and then panicked when the monitors went off and the line went dead. Abigail ruined Austin and Carrie's romantic getaway at Green Mountain Lodge, and then blurted out to Carrie that she and Austin had had sex and that they loved each other. On his way to plead for Carrie's forgiveness, Austin was crushed when he overheard Carrie tell Rafe that she loved him. Later, Carrie and Rafe agreed not to see each other because they were still married to other people and the relationships were complicated. Melanie learned that Abigail had lied about having sex with Austin, and pleaded with her to do the right thing and tell him the truth. Before Abigail came clean to Austin, he told her that they never were, and would never be, a couple. Gabi tricked Chad into believing that Melanie had stood him up and convinced him to have dinner with her. Madison continued to lie to Brady, broke his heart, and told him that she loved her husband, and that they were through. Then she told Ian that she hated him more than ever for making her give up the one man that made her happy. Sonny and Chad enjoyed the grand opening of the coffee shop, and everyone was shocked to learn that Ian was their silent partner and investor. Lucas confronted E.J. about Will working for a DiMera, and ordered Will to quit his job. Will defied his dad and realized he enjoyed the power and control of life on the dark side. Sami was shocked to find Billie back in town at Countess W, as well as Kate behaving strangely toward her, ordering her about, and piling on the work.

What happened during the week of
Todd confronted Sonny in the courtroom after Sonny was released on bail. Carly, Blair, Michael, and Starr pleaded with Todd not to shoot Sonny, but Todd was determined to avenge the deaths of Hope and Cole. John McBain arrived from Llanview in time to stop Todd from pulling the trigger, and then placed Todd under arrest for jumping bail. Starr vowed to return to Port Charles to testify against Sonny. Johnny decided to turn down Connie's offer to set Sonny up to find Johnny and Kate in a compromising position, because he realized that Kate was truly mentally ill. Steve confessed to Olivia that he had killed a patient who had been in a persistent vegetative state, to harvest the murdering convict's heart to save the life of a young girl with a promising life. Friends and loved ones gathered to bid a final farewell to Robin. Maxie continued to be plagued with guilt over her role in the lab explosion that had claimed Robin's life. Maxie stormed into Robin's funeral, and then confessed that she had killed Robin. Sam decided not to tell Jason about Robin's death, even though a doctor had assured Monica that Jason was on the road to recovery, and strong enough to handle the news. Carly managed to slip into Jason's room by impersonating a janitor. Carly told Jason that Sam had been lying to him for days about Robin, and then revealed that Robin was dead.

What happened during the week of
Phyllis defied Daniel's advice and intervened while he was visiting with Lucy at the coffeehouse. Daisy watched and summoned a social worker. The social worker urged Daisy to get a restraining order to keep Phyllis away from Lucy. Phyllis was devastated, and Daniel worried that his mother had ruined his chances to win custody of Lucy. Paul and Jack testified against Adam and got Walsh to take him in for questioning. Victor went to Adam's defense, much to Adam's surprise. Victor asked Nick to head up a new cosmetics division for Newman Enterprises. When the board objected to the new cosmetics line, Nick offered to work with Sharon on the project. Adam appeared at the board meeting and swayed the vote in Victor's favor. Lauren and Tucker decided to team up against Victor in future board meetings. Nikki threw a birthday party for Victor. Despite Victoria's warning that she couldn't trust Victor, Genevieve pumped him for information about landing the Mitsukoshi account. Adam began to get his eyesight back. Victoria flew to Los Angeles to take a meeting with the Beauty of Nature ad agency. Billy was thrilled when Victoria surprised him for St. Patrick's weekend. Ashley sent Jill to Japan to make contacts at Mitsukoshi. In Tokyo, Genevieve was surprised when Victor appeared at her teahouse meeting with a phantom Mistukoshi executive.

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2000
Tad and Adam got into a brawl in court and ended up sharing a jail cell. Dixie told a distraught Gillian that Jake had left town. Gillian blasted Ryan because she believed his talk with Jake was what had persuaded Jake to leave town. Later, she read a note from Jake and learned otherwise. Greenlee convinced her grandfather to hook Ryan up with money for his Internet plans. Liza, Marian, and Stuart all became suspicious of Adam, thinking he might have had something to do with setting Marian up. Paolo returned, asking Leo for $30,000 for his silence, and set his sights on Erica. After Alex spoke fluent Russian, without ever learning the language, Adrian told Edmund she might have been brainwashed.

Chris suspected Katie was behind the photos of him and Molly. Katie moved into Molly's apartment and later had an encounter with a real stalker. One of Simon's Australian references badmouthed him to Lily. Julia comforted Jack when he got a package from Carly. Chris tried to go after Katie's stalker, but Holden tackled him, believing him to be the true stalker.

Father Ray helped Danny and Michelle evade the police for safe passage to San Cristobel. Rick covered for Jesse's faked heart attack and kept the truth from the police and Drew, but Max accidentally found out the truth. Rick feared Michelle would be captured as Detective Grant was determined to take down the Santos family. Cassie decided to help Danny and Michelle. Richard "courted" Cassie in royal fashion, and finally told her that he really loved her. Phillip decided to be godparent to his own child. Edmund continued to needle Phillip and told Beth that he knew Phillip was the fathe. Edmund played Phillip and Beth against each other for his own benefit. Harley grilled Phillip and demanded to know what Edmund had on him. Lizzie spent at day at Spaulding with Alan. Theresa and Bernardo made Carmen believe that they stood united, while Bill threatened Carmen with good news of Vanessa's improving health.

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2000
Viki told her children she wanted them to live their lives as normally as possible. Bo told Will his lead hadn't panned out. Joey told Kelly about Viki's breast cancer. Viki showed up at the reopening of Crossroads and danced with Ben. Will considered taking Hank's offer. Ben figured out that Lindsay was pregnant. After watching Sam with Matthew, Nora decided she had to tell Bo the truth. Blair drugged Max, tied him up, and threatened him with a power drill until he admitted the truth. Viki turned Ben down when he asked her to marry him again. Lindsay rushed to the hospital when she got cramps, but the baby was okay. R.J. goaded Bo into hitting him. Max told Skye he loved Blair. Blair asked Sam to help her get a divorce. Viki prepared to go in for surgery. Lindsay doubled over in pain after she and Nora had an argument.

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2000
Luis and Sheridan both struggled with being apart and unexpectedly met on the roof of the Seascape, where Luis saved Sheridan. Theresa was elated when Gwen had to leave town on business and left her in charge of planning her wedding with Ethan. The angel girl appeared at the hospital to issue a warning to Tabitha. In a trance, Charity nearly stabbed Miguel with a pair of scissors. She later had a vision of Miguel dying. A frightened Charity broke up with him in order to try to save him. Kay discovered that the bird statue was gone. Simone took the statue home, and she and TC tried to open it. Later, TC asked Eve for help opening the "puzzle." Alastair threatened to disinherit Julian if the photos of him and Eve were discovered. When Julian and Eve met to discuss their past, he made a move on Eve. Ivy took drastic steps to ensure that Eve and Sam didn't learn the truth about her affair. Later, Ivy trapped Sam in a compromising situation.
