Carter confided in Ridge about Maya's secret, and Ridge conferred with Brooke and Eric about how to handle it. Brooke confronted Maya about being transgender and demanded that Maya reveal it to Rick before he proposed to her. Rick planned a getaway to Big Bear for a surprise proposal, and Nicole warned Maya not to ruin things by unearthing the past. Wyatt succeeded in getting Nicole to trust him, and Nicole confided in him about Maya's past. Wyatt told Liam to fire up Spencer media because they were about to blow Rick out of the water.

Nicole pushed Daniel away when he tried to work things out with her so that she could find out about Xander and Serena's secret. Serena asked Eric to move to Hawaii with her. Justin caught Adrienne and Lucas in a hot kiss. Justin and Adrienne had it out about the state of their marriage. Paul texted Sonny and said he would be on the next flight to Salem. Clyde threatened Will then lied to Kate about it. Will left town to do research about Clyde. Stefano was out for revenge against Marlena and blamed her for Kristen's death. J.J. and Paige planned a bright future together, but Eve and Cole had their own plan for them. Theresa played nice with Melanie while secretly planning a life with Brady and their child. Melanie did not know if she would have a future with Brady. John was there for Marlena when he learned that she had been in danger. John met his new grandson.

Lucas accepted Brad's proposal of marriage. Spencer endangered Cameron and Emma's lives during the Nurses Ball by dropping sandbags from the rafters as they danced. After Spencer returned to Wyndemere, Courtney paid her son a visit. Courtney explained that even though she was dead, she would always be in Spencer's heart then she showed him that his face wasn't horribly disfigured. Elizabeth was stunned when Nikolas revealed that he had known for months that Jake was Jason. Distraught, Elizabeth ran to the stage to share the news about Jason, but changed her mind at the last minute because she realized that she would be throwing away a chance at a relationship with the man she loved. Nikolas advised Elizabeth against keeping the secret, but Elizabeth was determined to take advantage of the opportunity to be with Jake. Later, Elizabeth and Jake made love. Nikolas agreed to let Hayden stay in his home in exchange for her silence about Jake's real identity. Sam told Julian that Olivia was pregnant with his baby. Olivia went into labor and delivered a premature baby boy. Anna and Duke agreed to run away and start a new life together. Duke tried to call off the hit on Jordan, but Bruce ignored the voicemail messages. Carlos cornered Duke in the parking garage. Duke and Carlos briefly struggled for the gun until a shot rang out. Anna was horrified when Duke collapsed from a gunshot wound when they met on the pier. Spinelli and Maxie agreed to break up because they were each in love with someone else.

Michael was arrested for solicitation. Cane figured out that Michael and the prostitute had only talked, but Michael insisted upon pushing Lauren away. Lily became increasingly irritated with the time Cane spent consoling Lauren. Hilary and Devon made love. Dylan visited Avery in Chicago, but their rift continued to grow. With Avery's encouragement, Joe took his first steps since the accident. Nick reopened the Underground. Sage agreed to wait for Nick. Sharon broke house arrest and showed up at the reopening celebration, and she was arrested. Sharon sent a text message from Dylan's phone that further alienated Dylan and Avery. Christine dropped the murder charges against Sharon. Sharon and Dylan kissed, but they agreed it had just been a moment between friends. Stitch and Abby confided that they had real feelings for one another. The real Jack stabbed Kelly with a pen and phoned Kyle, but the imposter answered the call. Kelly convinced the authorities that Jack was a mental patient under her care, and she bound him in a straitjacket. Jack's imposter and Kyle got into a car accident, and the clone was placed into an induced coma. Kyle blamed himself for the accident. Ashley and Billy hoped to reclaim Jabot if the merger had never been finalized. Neil supported Victor's scheme to forge Jack's signature on the merger documents, and Victor convinced Nikki to sign off as a witness. Billy said the signature on the contract wasn't Jack's.
