Despite Ivy's request for another chance, Steffy refused to rehire her cousin. For fun, Bill told Quinn that Wyatt had inherited her bad genes, which made Wyatt inferior to Liam. Quinn tried to appeal to Liam to "rescue" Wyatt, causing Liam to warn his brother that his mother was headed back off her rocker. Ridge caught Thomas with an intern and accused Thomas of being a spoiled brat out to take whatever woman he wanted. Thomas punched Ridge and later told Steffy that their father had no idea. Caroline revealed to Ridge that she'd unintentionally slept with his son.

Chad's search for an alibi fell through. Chad turned to Stefano and Andre for help as the police closed in on him. Aiden told Hope about his gambling debts but not about his deal with Stefano. Stefano and Andre kept Aiden in line. Ben had nightmares about his crimes. Abigail was thrilled when Ben told her that he did not want to leave Salem. Abigail asked Theresa to design a dress for her wedding. Marlena told Rafe she was not sure if Chad was one who had attacked her. Rafe told Eduardo to stay away from Gabi. Eduardo tried to comfort Eve, but she pushed him away. Justin helped Eve deal with Paige's death. Theresa stayed strong for Eve. Eduardo helped the police find Chad. Adrienne was tested for the breast cancer gene. Caroline's family and friends feared for her health as her mental state worsened. Kayla was not convinced that Victor's treatment plan for Caroline was the way to go.

Sonny was rushed into surgery when he suffered a seizure during his marriage ceremony to Carly. Carly was forced to hand Avery over to Ava. Ava accused Carlos of shooting Sonny and claimed that Carlos had acted on his own. Kyle turned on Anna by giving Paul a key to a safe deposit box that contained Carlos' wallet and the gun Anna had used to kill Carlos. Kyle asked for immunity in exchange for the evidence, but Paul shot Kyle instead. Anna enlisted Sam's help to find the person responsible for shooting Sonny, since Anna knew that Carlos hadn't done it. Valerie confessed to Dante that she couldn't stop thinking about him. Nathan advised Valerie to forget Dante because Dante had made his choice clear. Dillon let it slip to Maxie that he was in love with Lulu. Maxie vowed to find a way to help Dillon get over Lulu, since Lulu loved Dante. Valerie tried to make things work with Dillon, but it was clear that neither Dillon nor Valerie was attracted to the other. Dillon confessed that he had feelings for Lulu, and Valerie confided that she had slept with Dante. Dillon and Valerie were unaware that a camera had recorded their conversation. At the Noodle Buddha, Jake helped Sam let go of Jason. Patrick was overjoyed when Sam accepted his marriage proposal. Laura paid Patrick and Sam a visit.

The doctor informed Sharon that she was having a bipolar episode. Marisa told Noah about Victor and Jack's association with Marco. Noah broke up with Marisa, who headed out of town, but she was attacked before she could leave. The pilot informed Dylan that he'd flown Hilary to Genoa City. Cane informed Devon that a Jane Doe had been admitted to the hospital, but the woman turned out to be Marisa. Stitch linked the missing hospital supplies to Hilary's disappearance, and Paul planned to put trackers on additional supplies in the hope her captor returned for more. Neil planned to leave town when Gwen discovered that he was holding Hilary, but Gwen insisted on helping with Hilary's recuperation. Victoria was disgusted to find out that Billy had continued to buy Newman assets for Jabot. Phyllis learned "Fred" was really Ian when Summer recognized him. Ian sneaked back into prison, but he later escaped. Kevin traced the cyber attack activity to "Gabriel's" old penthouse. Chelsea realized that Adam had partnered with Ian to unleash the Paragon Project, and she accepted that their relationship was over. Chelsea told Billy about Adam's true identity, while Ian exposed Adam to Phyllis, who relayed the news to Victor. Ian turned himself in.
