Earlier this month, All My Children favorite Walt Willey (Jackson Montgomery) gave fans the concerning news that he was heading into surgery and that he was in need of prayers, good thoughts, and positive vibes. Fortunately, the actor has since shared that his surgery was a success, and he is now on the mend at home.
"I'm ba-a-a-a-aack! I find myself so grateful and humbled by your thoughts and prayers," he shared on Twitter. "I am happy to report that the surgery was indeed successful!"
Willey has yet to reveal what kind of surgery he had to undergo, but he says that he was discharged on Easter and is recuperating comfortably at home. "Thank you ALL for your love and support at this critical moment!"

Several of Willey's fans shared their relief and well wishes on Twitter, as did the actor's former AMC co-star Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart), who wrote that she loves him and is happy to hear that he's okay.
Willey took on the role of AMC's upstanding attorney Jack in 1987 and played the role until the soap's ABC cancellation in 2011. His other credits include Ryan's Hope, where he starred as Joe Novak from 1986 to 1987, as well as Thurston, Everyday Lies, Gunslingers, and Tainted Dreams.
