JR stood next to Babe and Dixie's coffins and cried. JR then apologized to Babe as Bianca consoled him. Zoe then chastised JR for blackmailing Babe. Zoe added that Babe died hating JR. Bianca scolded Zoe for being insensitive at a funeral. Then, JR went to leave. Tad saw that JR looked angry and tried to stop him. Still, JR stormed off, but announced he was not heading to the bar. Meanwhile, Krystal said goodbye to Babe's grave one last time, while Tad and Joe worried about Krystal and JR. As this happened, Palmer stood silently next to Dixie's grave. Opal was concerned and asked Joe to watch over Palmer. Then, Julia invited everyone to Wildwind, so people began to leave. However, Bianca and Zoe stayed. Zoe apologized to Bianca for yelling at JR at an inappropriate time. Bianca accepted the apology and showed Zoe a picture of her, Babe, Miranda, and Little Adam. Bianca said she did not want the picture, but Babe insisted. Bianca hoped that Babe knew she finally forgave her. Then, Bianca went to put the picture in Babe's coffin, but Zoe stopped her. Zoe stated that Babe knew Bianca forgave her. Then, Jack asked Bianca to leave before the SWAT team left, just in case. Bianca agreed and thanked Jack for making the funeral possible. Bianca also told Jack she was proud of him and that she loved him. Then, Bianca asked Zoe to join her at Wildwind and Zoe hesitantly agreed to go. Meanwhile, Zach visited Ethan's grave after the funeral ended. Zach vowed to find Simone's killer for Ethan.

Julia, Jamie, Del, Di, Aidan, Amanda, and Jonathan got ready for the gathering after the funeral. Meanwhile, Emma, Annie, and Ryan went to see Emma's new bedroom. Emma was excited to show Ryan, but ran off quickly after they arrived in her room. Annie said this was part of parenting. Annie then comforted Ryan about the funeral and they hugged. Then, Jonathan walked in and smiled. Jonathan apologized for interrupting and went to leave, but Annie left instead. So, Jonathan asked Ryan why he was not dating Annie yet. Ryan said it was complicated. Jonathan reminded him that life was short and Ryan should not waste time. Then, Jonathan talked to Annie. At first, she was annoyed that Jonathan acted as if something was going on between her and Ryan. So, Jonathan gave her the same advice he gave Ryan and she smiled. Meanwhile, Tad arrived at Wildwind and Di greeted him. Then, Cathy approached him and asked him to read her a book. Julia said Tad might be too busy. Cathy replied that Emma got a new daddy, so she wanted Tad to be her new daddy. Tad explained that he was her good friend and Cathy ran off to play. Julia apologized, but Tad said it was an honor because Cathy was such a terrific kid. Tad also said Julia was a terrific mother. Then, Bianca and Zoe arrived. Everyone stopped and looked at Zoe in her dress. Di asked Aidan and Del if they should apologize for falsely accusing her. However, Del called Zoe a freak. Del then asked Zoe if she wanted a shot of whiskey or a cosmo for a drink. Zoe looked a little sheepish and Amanda gave Zoe a margarita. So, Zoe decided to leave and Amanda scolded Del for his sarcastic comment. Next, Tad and Aidan discussed their plan to find Ethan's mother.

Krystal and Adam were home. Adam helped Krystal into bed. Then, Adam left and Colby came in with food. Colby wanted to comfort Krystal, but did not know how. So, Colby offered to let Krystal hug her and pretend she was Babe. Krystal said Colby did not have to pretend to be anyone else and they embraced. Adam then walked in and saw the hug and smiled. Next, Colby went on the balcony and Sean came to visit. Sean said he understood how Colby felt because of his father's death. Colby began to cry and they hugged. Meanwhile, Adam and Krystal were together. Adam stated that Babe got her spirit and life from Krystal. And, Adam wanted Charlotte to be just like Krystal too. However, Krystal stated that she wanted Charlotte to be like Adam. Then, they hugged.

Babe was in a hospital bed in a suite at the casino. Josh and Kendall were at her side. Babe tried to warn them about the killer, so Kendall assured Babe that she was safe. Then, Babe asked where she was, but fell asleep right after. Kendall asked how long they could keep the truth from Babe. Josh said as long as they could. Then, Zach came back from the funeral. Zach explained that Zoe sang and that everyone was sad. Kendall worried that it was cruel to keep Krystal in the dark. However, Josh asserted that Zach's plan to fake Babe's death to keep her alive was the best idea. Josh also stated that Krystal was part of the problem because she wanted Babe to be with JR. Kendall agreed that this was the best way to keep Babe safe. Josh then thanked Kendall and Zach for their help. Next, Zach and Kendall went to their suite. Kendall pleaded with Zach to rest, but he refused. So, Zach left. Meanwhile, Josh sat by Babe's side. Babe told Josh he saved her and she smiled. As this happened, JR showed up at Kendall's suite. JR wanted to apologize for hurting Kendall in the past. Kendall was not receptive and tried to rush JR out. Then, when she opened her door, Josh was outside. Josh and JR stared at each other. Meanwhile, Babe woke up with a private nurse by her side. Babe realized she was not in the hospital.

Zach went to see Ryan at the penthouse. Zach wanted to know about his father's death.

The killer was at Ethan's grave while Zoe was nearby at Babe's grave. Then, Zoe heard footsteps. She turned around and was punched multiple times in the face by the Satin Slayer!

Zach interrogated Ryan to find out what happened in the last hours of his fathers life. Ryan said he seemed fine right before the fatal heart attack. Ryan told Zach that his last moments were about giving him Cambias Industries and a pocketwatch. Ryan said that Alex never mentioned his mother on his deathbed. Spike began crying and Zach went to get him. Zach kissed him and told him how much he was loved by everyone.

Erica asked Ryan to find Josh but Jeff told her that he would be fine. Tad tried to tell Erica that the SK was after the Fusion women and that Josh was not a target. Jeff and Tad tried to convince her that Josh would be fine but she insisted that they find him before he did something desperate. Erica told Tad that she just wanted to know that Josh was alright. Josh called Jeff and said that he needed his help. Jeff told Erica there was an emergency at the hospital and left.

J.R. and Josh exchanged harsh words in Kendall's hotel room. The two rivals rehashed all the water that had gone under the bridge and blamed each other for Babe's death. Josh got a phone call concerning Babe and tried to leave, but J.R. followed him. Jack told J.R. that he had to leave because of security and after a few angry words he left. Zach came back to the casino and told Kendall to pack her bag because they were going to Vegas.

Babe's condition deteriorated and Josh sedated her to keep her heart calm. Josh asked the nurse why Babe had the set back and she told her when Babe realized she was not in the hospital, she had the attack.

The serial killer attacked Zoe while she was visiting Babe's gravesite. After a lengthy struggle, the attacker left Zoe for dead. J.R. went to Babe's gravesite to tell her he was sorry. He saw Zoe lying on the ground, badly wounded, but he just sat and insulted her. J.R. then got up and walked away after telling Zoe to "sleep it off."

Babe awoke to the sound of a nurse paging a doctor over a loudspeaker. Babe also saw Josh and Wendy, her private nurse, dressed in hospital gear. And, the entire room was transformed. It looked like Babe was in a hospital room. So, Babe, who was still weak, asked Josh if she was in the hospital. Josh said yes. Still, Babe wondered why she was not in the hospital the first time she awoke. Josh explained that she was really out of it and probably just imagined what she originally saw. Babe seemed convinced and asked if Krystal and Little Adam were alright. Josh said they were fine and asked if she wanted to know about JR too. Babe said JR could go to hell and became agitated. Babe stated that she had to stop JR from hurting her momma. So, Josh pretended that JR said he was going to put his blackmail plans on hold. Josh also lied and said that Krystal had visited Babe while she was sleeping. Babe was satisfied, but asked to see Krystal. Josh promised to call Krystal, but said he would not wake Babe if Krystal came while she was asleep again. Then, Babe and Josh held hands and Josh told Babe to trust him. Babe smiled and Josh walked out. After Josh left, he replayed the recording of a nurse paging a doctor in the hospital.

It was morning and Bianca went to the cemetery to visit Babe's grave. However, Bianca was shocked to see Zoe lying on the ground with severe cuts and bruises. Bianca rushed to Zoe and asked her bodyguard to call 911. Zoe was then taken to the hospital, but dropped the button she grabbed off of the Satin Slayer's coat. The button lay in the grass unnoticed. Then, Zoe arrived at the hospital. Zoe struggled to speak, but informed Joe that she was beaten the previous night. Zoe then went to get x-rays and Bianca and Julia talked. Julia assumed the beating was the result of a hate crime because Zoe was wearing a dress at the time. So, when Derek arrived, Bianca stated it may have been a hate crime. Derek was disappointed because he thought it may have involved the Satin Slayer. Bianca was stunned by Derek's nonchalant attitude towards a hate crime, but Derek stated his priority was the Satin Slayer case. Still, Bianca believed Derek should stand up against discrimination, especially since Derek's nephew endured a hate crime due to the color of his skin. Derek stated that he was born black, but Zoe could have prevented her discrimination by choosing to stay a man. Bianca was irate and said Zoe was born transgender. Bianca also accused Derek of blaming Zoe for the beating. Bianca then asked if she was to blame for her own rape, since she was a lesbian. Derek looked sheepish and promised to look into Zoe's case. Then, Joe announced that Zoe only had a concussion. Then, Jack arrived and Bianca, Jack and Derek went into Zoe's room. Zoe said the night was still hazy, but remembered JR leaving her there. Bianca looked shocked and angry.

JR walked into the living room and stared at the bottle of scotch. Meanwhile, Krystal was sitting in the corner silently observing. Krystal then told JR to have a drink because it would help him forget his own pain and help him inflict pain on others. Krystal also said a drink would help JR tell Adam her dirty little secret. JR stated that he was not going to drink again and that he would not tell Adam. However, Krystal felt JR would eventually divulge the truth. But, JR said he would not tell because Adam needed Krystal. JR also stated that he probably needed Krystal more than Adam because Krystal was his link to Babe. JR further stated that Babe had Krystal's eyes and that he never wanted Krystal to stop talking about Babe, especially for Little Adam's sake. JR even said that he wanted Krystal to help him raise Little Adam. Krystal was surprised by JR's sincerity and realized why Babe loved JR so much. Krystal believed that Babe always forgave JR and that she probably forgave him again. JR then asked if Krystal forgave him and she said yes. Then, they embraced and Adam came in. The three of them told stories about Babe and smiled. Then, Bianca busted into the living room and called JR a heartless son of a bitch!

Kendall was in a hotel in Las Vegas speaking with a hotel employee. However, Kendall was disguised in a short, black wig and claimed she was Carla Suarez. Kendall shared her discontent for the hotel employee because he booked four rooms instead of six for her, her husband, Sonny, and their entourage. Then, Zach came in and told the employee he was very upset that his wife was disappointed. The employee looked nervous and intimidated, so he gave them the six rooms they requested in a private corridor. Then, Zach and Kendall went into their room. Kendall said she felt free for the first time in a long time, but wondered why they were in Las Vegas. Zach said he was looking for an answer to a question he still did not know. Then, they visited the hospital that Alexander Cambias died in and talked to Alexander's nurse. Kendall pretended to be Carla and claimed that she was the long lost granddaughter of Alexander. The nurse said Kendall should speak with Ryan Lavery and Kendall said she already did. The nurse then detailed her experience with Alexander. Meanwhile, Zach recalled how he carried out the plan to fake Babe's death. First, Zach asked Josh to comply. Then, Josh convinced Jeff and Joe to help. Joe even signed the fake death certificate. Then, Zach asked Jack to help fake the autopsy report. And, as Zach remembered this, he seemed to realize something. Next, he brought Kendall to the cemetery and to his father's grave. The grave stated that Alexander was a loving father and husband. Zach stared at the grave and got on his knees. Zach then began to frantically dig up the grave with his hands!

Thursday, February 22, 2007

Kendall tells Zach that it may have been a bad idea to visit Alexander's grave just as her husband is assaulted by various voices in his head. He screams and starts to dig at the ground with his bare hands. Kendall begs her husband to stop and demands that the guards help her drag him away. Kendall reminds him that his father is dead and can no longer hurt him. Zach finally calms down, and tells the guards to unearth the coffin. He then places a call to the office and demands that the director come out to see them. When he abruptly ends the call, Kendall begs him to stop what he is doing, since there is nothing in the grave that can take away his pain. He assures her that he knows what he is doing, and that there is a secret in the grave. The director arrives a short time later, and tries to convince Zach that there are channels that need to be traveled before a body can be exhumed. Zach tells him that the body will be unearthed today, and warns him not to tell anyone of their arrival. Understanding clearly, the director goes to get the backhoe. Kendall then asks why Zach would want to experience the pain that always accompanied his father for a chance at a clue that he thinks is hidden with his father. Instead of directly explaining, Zach proceeds to tell her stories from his youth, summing up how they helped him become the man he is, and horrifying Kendall in the process. He then tells her of the day that Michael suggested they switch places, since Michael needed their father's approval and to be sole heir to Cambias. Zach decided to tell his father he was leaving, and it only made Alexander laugh. He told Zach that he would never make it alone, and he promised Zach that he would always find him and thwart anything that he wanted. It was then, Zach relates, that he staged the fatal car crash, and his new persona was born. He tells his wife that he was at his own funeral and saw his father grieving - and was able to be the last one laughing. He then says that he thought after all this time, he would be free from his father, his own man. Instead, he was fooled into thinking so until the murders. He thinks he is being taught a lesson and Kendall asks if he believes someone else is carrying out his father's wishes, even after his death. Zach admits that he thinks something more than that, but is prevented from saying more when the coffin drops. All eyes are on the coffin, and when Zach okays it, one of the guards opens the box - and it is revealed that instead of a body, there are several large stones inside.

Tad finally finds his brother in the hospital and attacks him for putting Erica through the wringer. Jeff tells him that there is no need to worry about Josh and that the best thing he can do is to call Erica off of his trail. Tad doesn't understand Jeff's position until he realizes that his brother knows exactly where his son is. Tad demands that Jeff reveal where Josh is and when he hesitates, Tad wants to know what secret is so big that he can't be let in. Without knowing that Erica is now standing behind them, Jeff tells Tad that the secret is not his to tell, and that he should just make up something to tell Erica. The woman in question opens her mouth just then and asks if Jeff wants her to know anything but the truth. Tad tells her that in the process of looking for Josh, he felt it was imperative that he stop by the hospital and talk to Jeff. Jeff follows by saying that he told Tad what he knew and Tad takes the opportunity to leave, stating that he is going to work on fleshing out the new leads. Once alone with her first ex-husband, Erica notes that she still believes there is something that Jeff isn't telling her and after a few exasperating moments, she gets him to admit that Josh had been in touch. She insists that he tell her where their son is, but Jeff tells her that he can't tell her anything except that Josh is fine, and is taking care of something important. Erica thinks that it's a matter of trust, but Jeff assures her that she has the wrong idea. She then points out that it was seemingly easy for him to take her to bed, whisper sweet nothings and lie out of the other side of his face. He tells her that making love to her was completely separate from the lie, so she tells him to make it up to her by revealing their son's location. He asks if she is really saying that in order to prove that he loves her, he has to betray his son. As usual, thinking that what she wants is more important than anything else, Erica tells him that he either needs to cough up information on Josh right now, or accept that things between them are over. More than knowledgeable of her manipulative ways, he tells her that he would not break his promise to their son to placate her. Believing that she can still win him over, she tells him that he will not be allowed to put his hands on her until he tells her what he is hiding. Further, she tells him that if he loved her, he would reveal all that he knows since she is worthy of Josh's trust as well. Unwilling to cave, Jeff asks her if there is anything else he can help her with, and follows by complimenting her. Enraged at losing the battle, Erica storms off.

Babe wakes up and when Josh comes in to check on her, she asks if he had gotten in touch with Krystal. He tells her that he has, that she is watching Little A and that she would be in to see her later. Sensing something is not quite right, she asks Josh if he is lying to her. Josh assures her that he has no reason to lie, and when she asks him if she is going to die, he tells her yes - in about 50 to 60 years, after she's had more than enough time to raise some hell. She tells him that all she wants to do is raise her son, and then morosely considers her options when she gets out of the hospital. Josh suggests that she could live with Amanda at Wildwind, or she could move in with him. She manages a chuckle and notes that JR would love that. She then asks, somewhat rhetorically, what JR would do when she tells him that she is taking their son and moving out. Josh tells her not to worry about JR - or anyone else right now - as he has it set up that she won't be unnecessarily bothered while she is recovering. She wonders how he got assigned to her detail without JR overriding the assignment, and he tells her that although her husband is on the Board, his grandfather is the chief, and thus, he is well connected. She then asks if JR cares what happens to her and when Josh hesitates, she tells him that she can't be any more broken than she already is by his answer. He tells her that the first rule of being a doctor is to do no harm, and chooses to stop there. She takes his silence to mean that JR couldn't care less whether she lives or dies. Josh tells her that there is no point in dredging up dirt about JR, but Babe presses on and asks if her husband had even bothered to come see her. As truthfully as he can, Josh tells her that JR had been to the hospital but hadn't asked to see her, and hadn't been back since. Babe speculates how she can possibly protect her mother from her husband, and Josh tells her that he thinks he's taken care of that. Relieved to hear it, Babe then notes how stupid she had been to think that JR would change, and Josh rejects that notion, saying her only failing is that she is married to an idiot. Babe then gives Josh the chance to tell her "I told you so" but Josh happily lets the opportunity slide.

Bianca bursts into the Chandler mansion and demands to know how JR could continually be so heartless and cruel. Krystal tries to call her off, saying that now is not the time for a confrontation. Bianca states that someone needs to call him on his actions, and prepares to blast him. Adam hears the commotion and tells Bianca that she is not welcome if she is going to act this way. Bianca then announces that now is as good a time as any since JR is supposedly grieving the wife he was actually blackmailing. Krystal asks what happened and Bianca tells her that JR left Zoë bleeding and unconscious by Babe's grave overnight. JR tells her that it wasn't his responsibility to take care of Zoë just because she got into trouble, most likely by hitting on the wrong straight guy. Adam chimes in and says that if Zoë chooses to put on a dress, she should know how to protect herself. Appalled, Bianca asks them if they are actually intimating that Zoë deserved what she got. Not wanting to hear the answer, she reminds JR that Babe really cared about Zoë. She adds that it seems that even though he mourns Babe in the daylight, at night he returns to the JR that everyone knows and loathes. She then asks if he always has to have someone to hate, and if he transferred his hate to Zoë now that Babe is dead. Unwilling to entertain her rage, JR walks away from Bianca and turns his attention to the newspaper. Adam tells the young Kane woman that JR was under no obligation to help Zoë out. They both continue to fling out reasons why JR's behavior was acceptable, and Bianca reminds him that just recently, he stood by Babe's grave and told her that she should forgive Maggie since we never know when we can lose the people in our lives. JR asks that he be spared the lecture, and Bianca warns him not to come around trying to bond with her anymore. Disgusted, she leaves the house as quickly as she arrived. A short time later, JR tells his father and Krystal that he is going to the hospital for an AA meeting. Adam stops his son before he can leave, saying that someone isn't telling him the whole truth. Krystal tells her husband to leave things alone, and that Bianca was just upset. Adam can't do as asked, and even though his son agrees with his wife, Adam notes that JR had to have more on his mind if he was blackmailing Babe. He figures that Krystal found out about it, which was why she wanted him out - and he asks to be informed of the specifics. JR tries to get his father off the trail by reminding him of the picture he has of Babe and Zoë in bed, but Adam thinks there is more. JR tells him that nothing else matters - he made stupid mistakes and now he can't make up for them because his wife is dead. He tells his father to learn from what he'd done and never do anything that would hurt Krystal. Taken slightly aback, Adam asks why he would ever do that. JR quickly recovers, saying that his intention was to warn his father away from ever following the path he just traveled down. He then quickly restates his need to go to his meeting and leaves. Adam asks Krystal what JR hadn't said, and reminds her that with their total honesty policy, they could tell each other anything. Krystal supports JR's story, saying that although JR was trying to protect his son, she thought his tactics were tacky and mean. She then says that she believes that JR was sorry about what he did, and just wants to drop things so that they can finally have some peace in the house. Wanting to do everything he can for his wife, Adam agrees to let it go.

At the hospital, Zoë speculates as to why the Satin Slayer didn't kill her too. Derek asks if she'd seen any of the tell tale signs - a needle, gardenias, satin ribbon - but Zoë tells him it was dark and she didn't see anything. Jack asks Derek where he is going with his line of questioning, and Derek tells him that if it really was the Slayer that attacked, he has changed his methods - especially since he usually attacks women. Jack reminds the police chief that Zoë was dressed in women's clothing and the perpetrator might have realized mid-attack that she was still a man, and stopped. Derek thinks that perhaps Zoë is just lying to them. She assures him that she is telling the truth, and Derek reminds her that it wouldn't be the first time that she lied. Zoë then remembers that the perpetrator spit on him, and that it might be worth it to test her clothes. Jack thinks it's their first chance at DNA but Derek classifies it as simple assault and says he will take care of it. Zoë announces that Derek is just angry because he isn't the Satin Slayer, and with that, the two men leave. Julia takes their place and hands over some meds for her to take. As she does, she asks Julia if she is bothered by having to treat her. Julia questions why she would be, and Zoë asks if she is nervous about touching a freak. Eyes cast downward, Julia apologizes if they made her feel uncomfortable at Wildwind after the funeral. Zoë tells her she has nothing to apologize for since the problem is that she is just not comfortable in her own skin. Julia offers to introduce her to some medical professionals and Zoë thinks it's because people believe she needs to be treated for a mental disorder. Julia tells her that gender identity disorder is currently under review by the medical community, and Zoë replies that the local police obviously didn't get the memo. Julia finishes taking Zoë's vitals and the musician thanks her in earnest. Julia tells her that a good nurse should never judge any situation, especially since they may not know the full story. Zoë then admits that she is angry about the way she is treated, and wonders if it would have been better to just keep her true self inside. Coming from the perspective of someone who spent a lot of time hiding, Julia tells her that is always better to face the world honestly.

Out in the hall, Jack asks Derek if what Zoë said was correct, since the way that Derek treated Zoë was rather suspect. Derek insists that his demeanor is about a psychotic person killing women, and that Zoë is more of a drama queen these days. Jack insists that Derek treat the potential evidence seriously, as it could lead to the break they need. Derek says that he refuses to waste valuable lab time on an ordinary hate crime, and Jack suggests that perhaps Derek has some issues that are clouding his judgment when it comes to Zoë, making him treat the case more flippantly than he should. Bianca arrives just then, and Jack fills her in about what Zoë said and the possible DNA sample. Satisfied for the moment, she goes in the room to check on her friend. Jack then tells Derek that although he understands his position, he is unwilling to let possible evidence slip through their fingers and orders him to test the sample immediately.

Back inside the room, Zoë asks if she really did ask to be attacked. Both Bianca and Julia assure her that she didn't - rather, they tell her that if she is sure that she wants to live her life as a woman, there will be things that she will need to relearn as a woman to keep herself safe. Zoë admits that she didn't realize it would be so complicated. Julia leaves and when Bianca chuckles to herself, Zoë thinks she missed something. Bianca tells her that she was just thinking of her attacker's surprise when he attacked a woman that had the strength of a man. They are both amused for a moment before Zoë recalls the fight. She tells Bianca about ripping the button off of the attacker and Bianca offers to tell the police about it. Zoë believes that Derek will just write off the potential evidence, so Bianca says that she will go find the button herself so that they will have to believe her. Shortly thereafter, Derek returns to the room, silently collects Zoë's clothing for DNA testing and leaves.

Tad catches up with Jack and tells him that although they haven't come up with anything substantial yet, Aidan has put more people on the search for Hannah. He then asks if Kendall is really safe in the hotel room where she has been staying, and Jack relays that Zach is keeping a close eye on her.

JR runs into Erica at the hospital and tells her where the AA meeting is. She tells him that the only good thing about her son being missing is that JR can't get to him. JR recoils slightly, and says that he just saw Josh and knows where he is, and can therefore get to him any time he wants.

Bianca arrives at the cemetery and stoops by Babe's grave briefly, telling her what happened the night before. She then tries to play out the scene, and in doing so, finds the button that Zoë talked about. She picks it up, and realizes that she recognizes the emblem on the other side.

Friday, February 23, 2007

Tad, Jamie and Aidan are busy working at Aidan's office to find out more information about Ethan's mother. Tad snaps the cell phone from Aidan's hand after thinking he is chasing a false lead. When Aidan and Tad start to push each other, Jamie breaks them apart, telling his father Aidan is working as hard as he can. Tad says he made a promise to Dixie to find the killer, but right now, he is letting her down. Aidan says that he know he is hurting, but it does not give him the right to speak to him in such an unfriendly manner. Tad apologizes for his behavior, citing he always disappointed Dixie. JR comes in, arguing that Tad was always there for his mother. As the boys get back to work, JR offers to pitch in.

Erica continues to question JR, who says he saw Josh at the casino before storming off.

After putting down Josh, JR tells Erica she is no better than the trash she called Babe, considering Erica is shacking up with Jeff. In anger, Erica slaps JR across the face. She tells JR that no matter how much he proclaims his love for Babe, she always cared more for Josh. JR pays a visit to Zoe, warning her to stop telling everyone that he blackmailed Babe before her death. He tells Zoe that he wishes he could bring Babe back, but Zoe does not believe him. JR claims that Babe would not want the secret revealed before dashing off.

Bianca shows Ryan the button that was found at the site of Zoe's attack. Ryan asks the nanny to take Spike to his room to watch some DVDs. When Ryan asks, Bianca tells him where she found the button and Zoe's attack. Ryan identifies the button as having the Cambias crest, making Bianca believe there may be another Cambias alive they do not know about. Ryan asks Bianca why the police aren't investigating the issue. She explains that Derek is more concerned about finding the killer, not helping someone who is seen as a transgender freak. She begs Ryan to find out more about the Cambias family to help find the killer. Bianca goes back to the hospital to check on Zoe, who wonders if her attacker was the Satin Slayer or someone who hates transgender people.

Ryan goes to the casino and finds Erica trying to make her way past a bodyguard. Thinking Kendall is in danger, Ryan breaks the down door and rushes in the room. Outside the room, Ryan tells Erica that Zach got Kendall out of town without the killer knowing it. After promising Ryan to keep hush about it, she tries to call Kendall again. Ryan takes the button to Tad, Jamie, JR and Aidan, proclaiming he knows who the killer is.

Zach sees a note, "My son was dead and is alive again. He was lost and is found," in his father's coffin. Zach immediately asks the cemetery director who opened the grave before him, but the director says the grave had never been opened. Kendall says that someone must have opened it because a note was left inside. The director checks his records and discovers a person impersonating Zach had the coffin resurrected. Zach immediately begins asking details about the phony Zach, but the director says the deputy died seven months ago after the resurrection order was issued. Zach realizes the casket was dug up on July 23, the exact date he supposedly died. Kendall and Zach go back to their hotel room, still reeling from the fact that Alexander is alive. Zach says Alexander must have put the plan together shortly after learning Michael betrayed him by dishonoring the Cambias name. Zach says the only way to redeem the family's name was to hand his fortune over to Ryan - a complete stranger. Zach says that when his real identity was brought to life, Alexander felt he had betrayed him as well. Zach is sure his father followed them to Las Vegas. A phone call from Alexander confirms his theory. Alexander accepts Zach's invitation to meet at the warehouse. Zach removes the gun hidden from underneath his mattress and puts it in the back of his jeans. Kendall wants to go with Zach, but he knows it is safer for her to stay at the hotel. Zach kisses Kendall's hands and lips before walking out the door. As Kendall waits for her husband to return safely, Zach finds a woman resembling his mother standing in the warehouse.
