Gary told Carl he got a full confession from Rusty that Grant paid him to accuse Donna of sexual harassment. Carl speaks with Rachel on the phone and she has suspicions because he seems so distracted. Rayburn jumps Josie from behind and told her that he knows what she was up to from the beginning. He knocks her unconscious and takes her back to his apartment where he told her he was going to teach her to act like a lady. Although terrified, Josie gets him to admit he was the serial rapist. Before Rayburn can rape Josie, Toni bursts in with her gun drawn. The 2 women handcuff Rayburn and Toni went crazy and threatens to shoot him in the groin. Chris and Etta Mae are scared when they realize Toni hasn't checked into the stationhouse. After talking with Tyrone and others, Joe figures out Toni and Josie may be investigating the rape on their own. Josie manages to convince Toni that killing Rayburn would be worse than making him pay for his crimes in courts. They try and force a confession from him and while he's scared, he stubbornly refuses to confess and continues to taunt Josie and Toni that they will pay for keeping him prisoner. Gary and Amanda share a cab from the airport and Amanda tries to convince Gary Carl was having an affair. Gary scoffs at the idea and asserts that Alexander was probably behind a plan to make Carl look bad. Later, Gary runs into Felicia outside of Carlino's and tries to tell his friend to slow things down with Alex. She gets defensive but he lists all the suspicious activities Alex has been involved in since arriving in BC - citing allegiance with Grant as number one. Felicia was forced to examine Alex's behavior but still insists she knows what she's doing. Gary gets worried when he gets home and finds out Josie didn't sleep there last night. Vicky told Shane that she trusts him with her son's life. He prays for strength in the hospital chapel. Although Jake told Vicky he supports her decision, he privately told Shane that he still doesn't trust him or his motives. Again, Shane angrily defends his actions, saying he would give his life for Kirkland if possible. Vicky tries to be strong and explain to Kirkland and Steven about the surgery. When she says Shane was the surgeon - Kirk remarks that he thought they were mad at Shane. Vicky says that she and Shane were having problems and an astute Kirk asks if its because Vicky loves Jake. Cindy finally reaches Grant who storms into the operating room demanding Shane not operate.
