Holden, Lily and Luke come into the new house. Luke can now walk and talk. Holden shows him where he is going to build a stable and tells Luke he will get him a pony. Holden is going to be training horses at Cal's. Later Lily tells Holden that she doesn't know if she wants to live in that house; she is afraid to be there by herself. Holden says goodnight but sits down on the front porch. When Lily is locking up, she sees him there. She tells him to go home and she will call him if she needs him; they kiss and he leaves.

Tom and Margo are discussing Kirk (at the jail) and David overhears them. Margo tells him she remembers Kirk pulling the gun from her holster. David wants to know more; Tom accuses him of just wanting publicity. Later, Margo goes into a fugue when she hears about the hostage situation. She thinks Diego is holding Lily hostage.

Kirk is holding Samantha hostage in Lucinda's library. Kirk demands that Hal put his gun in a drawer, lock it and give the key to Sam. Then he demands that Hal burn the tape (of his confession) in the fireplace and sit down in a chair. While Kirk is not watching, Hal calls for backup (using a mike on his lapel).

James tells Lucinda that they had a child together and that he is now ready to meet his mother. Lucinda admits that she knew she was pregnant with a Stenbeck baby while she was married to Martin; when she gave birth the doctor told her it was stillborn and as a result, she would be unable to have any more babies. James insists that he is alive. Later, Lucinda walks into the library and finds the hostage situation while hearing sirens outside. Kirk makes Hal lock the door. David arrives, then Emily. Kirk threatens to kill Sam and himself so they can stay together. Kirk tells Hal to get Lucinda out of there. Hal and Lucinda go out the door and Kirk shuts it behind them. Lucinda tells Emily that Kirk killed Diego. David and Lucinda both try to talk Kirk out. He doesn't answer. Sam tells Kirk he is not the man she fell in love with. Kirk asks for a helicopter and tells Sam they will go far away. As Hal is leading Kirk and Sam out of the house to the helicopter, David comes from behind, grabs Kirk's gun hand, and a shot is fired.

Connor shows Mark the new curtains she has purchased for his house. He tells her that he has found a new home for them in the ritzy part of town. Connor says she would rather live in the house in which Mark grew up (in Milltown). Mark says he lost the bid on a construction job. He tells her that he was asked to bid on a bigger job downtown (the Wonder Building) but that it is just too big and too soon for his company. Connor tries to get him to make a bid, but he said the bids were due an hour ago. Later Mark brings his mother's wedding gown out of the attic and offers to let Connor wear it for their wedding. As he leaves the room, she picks up the papers he has worked on for the Wonder Building, calls the company and gets them to make an exception; she will have the bid on his desk in the morning.

Ryder and Nikki meet at an eating place. This is her 18th birthday; Hal had told her this morning that they would have her birthday dinner tonight, but he didn't show up or call. She says that she has her bags packed and is ready to leave with him for South Beach. Ryder says that Uncle Bob is coming to talk with him. Nikki is to be back in an hour. Bob agrees that Ryder should go out and see the world, but he warns him not to take Nikki with him. Bob tells Ryder that Nikki needs to finish high school; he wishes Ryder luck and says that he will always be welcome to come back. Later when Nikki gets there, she finds Ryder has gone; he left a note telling her she must finish high school and work out some things with her father. He left her a little gold bird (pin?) for her birthday.

While Hal is leading Kirk and Samantha (with a gun to her head) to the helicopter, David jumps Kirk from behind and as they struggle, a shot is fired and Kirk is wounded in the shoulder. James (outside, holding a rifle) tells Amber that he didn't kill Kirk because he was more valuable to him alive. The gun Kirk was holding had no bullets in it; the police had been told to hold their fire. So everyone wonders where the bullet came from. Hal determines that it came from a rifle outside. He told David that even though the tape of the confession had been thrown in the fire, they have the murder weapon and with Hal and Sam as witnesses, they have a case. David is told to free Margo. Lucinda finds it hard to believe that Kirk had the guts to kill Diego. Sam cries; she says she will go through with the divorce. Emi ly is snooping around outside and spots Amber who flees. Emily finds something in the straw; it looks like a large coin.

David goes to the jail and tells Margo she can go home. She is afraid to go home because she is not sure of herself. She thinks she is destroying Tom's life. Tom tells David that he was just trying to make a name for himself with this case. Later David tells Tom that he is resigning.

Lucinda goes back up to her bedroom where she finds James. He says he wants her to claim their son, making him a Walsh and letting him live in her home. Lucinda asks James if he has acknowledged their son; he says "No," and she says that is because he doesn't exist. James tells her the doctor lied and stole her baby. As the doctor was dying, he tried to contact both Lucinda and James. This was several months before Paul shot his father. James told the doctor that Lucinda was dead. James wants the son to never find out that James is his father. He wants him to have the Stenbeck inheritance but not the Stenbeck name. James says that their son has been living in Oakdale for a few months and that he is David Allen!!

LUCINDA goes to David Allens office to nose around. DAVID busts her. She says she came to make a statement about the hostage situation and when she realized he wasn't there...she was looking for a pen in his desk to leave him a note. David tells her that he knows that she knows you make statements at the Police Station and that she was just being nosey, because there's a whole cup full of pens on his desk. He tells her that after the way she slapped him the other day..he wants to stay as far away from her as possible. She half appologizes, saying that she was under distress. He asks her why she was in there, really..."Are you trying to find something to embarrass me...." He then lets her know that he is resigning and that he's leaving Oakdale. He tells her that he won't miss her at all! "You're a very contrary person." Lucinda says. "Takes one to know one." He tosses back at her. David shows her to the door and slams it once she's out of the way. Out side of the office Lucinda tells herself..."Inconceivable. That can not be my flesh and blood."

SAMANTHA goes to see KIRK at the hospital. He gives her the divorce papers, signed. "What's the catch." Sam wants to know. He tells her that he wants her to stay in Oakdale. He tells her Lucinda could help her. Kirk tells her that even though he signed the papers doesn't mean he's stopped loving her. He tells her that he wants her to stay where he knows she'll be safe and taken care of. Kirk tells her that he knows she's telling everyone that she came back for Lily, but....He wants to know if there isn't some place back in the corner of her heart that wanted to see him as much as he wanted to see her. She tells him, "Honestly...No." He tells her that he doesn't have an settlement money to give her, at least she has her Walsh Stock. Sam tells him that she lost her stock in a poker game. She begs Kirk not to tell anyone. That she has a plan to get it back.

EMILY goes to the Falcon Club to get some answers about the chip she found in the Walsh stables. JACK mistakes her as a waitress-wanna-be and Emily is slightly offended. She tells him that she is the owner and editor of the City Times and is on the tail of a story. She asks to speak to Lily. Jack tells her that the Falcon Club was sold and is under new Management. Emily tells him that the changing of hands of a gambling establishment is big news and demands to know the name of he new owner. He tells her that he's never met the man. She asks him if he's the Manager. He tells her yes, that his name is Jack Snyder and asks if she'd like to see his birth certificate. Emily asks if he's Holden's Cousin. He says yes. They discuss her past relationship with Holden, Jack thinks Holden is the luckiest guy in town. Emily tells him the only good thing that has really happened to Holden is that their marriage broke up. Emily tries to get back to the subject of the new owner. Jack sidesteps and asks her out. Emily tells him no and gets back to the subject. Jack tells her that he's never met the new owner and that the new owner prefers to remain anonymous. Emily tells him to show her the liquor license or she'll go down to the court house and get it. "It's a matter of public record", Emily states. Jack goes after the license...It says Keystone Entertainment. "What can you tell me about this?" Emily asks as she pull out the chip she found at the stables. As Emily looks up...she sees the woman she saw sneeking around at he stables (AMBER). Emily takes off after her. So..Jack gets back to interviewing. LISA GRIMALDI and LUCINDA come in and chat a bit about Margo. Lucinda wants to know if Lisa has found out anymore about David Allen. Lisa tells her no, and then asks her why she wants to know....Lily is out and they have Diego's killer. On the monitors in his office, JAMES is delighting on the fix Lisa just put Lucinda in....James wonders out loud.."How are you going to answer that one, Lucinda?" He laughs. AMBER asks James if he is enjoying himself. "Immensely." He smirks. "I planted a few seeds, watered them judiciously and now I'm watching them bloom." James adds. "How long do you plan on staying in hiding?" Amber asks. "As long as it takes to accomplish my misson," He continues, "There's nothing like being the puppeteer of ones enemies." Amber tells him that she'd rather do it face to face and let them know who they're dealing with. "Eventually, all my trusted and loyal friends will know that I've returned. Only then, it will be too late for them to do anything about it." Lucinda tells Lisa that she thinks she should keep an eye on David because of Tom. Lucy tells her that she thinks he is after Tom's job, that he might take advantage of Tom and Margo's situation. Lucinda wants to be kept up to date, just in case she decides to take litigation against David Allen for false arrest. Lisa tells her that it wasn't false arrest because Lily confessed, the case is closed and she should let by gones be by gones. Lisa tells Lucy that she likes David Allen. Lucy tells Lisa that she doesn't think she is the best judge of character...Martin Chedwin, Edwardo Grimaldi.... Lisa gets mad and leaves. Emily runs back into Jack. He asks her why she ran out. She said she ran out catch someone she thought she knew. Emily describes the woman to Jack and he says that the desription matches over half of the women in there. James watches from the monitor. James sees SAMANTHA walk in. "The plot thickens." He quips. Emily starts to give Jack her phone number and tells him to call her if he figures out who the woman is. While Emily is writing down her number, she then asks for his number, as she asks him about the chip once again. "You are as lucky as you are beautiful, that's a $1,000 chip." Sam listens in as Jack and Emily discuss the chip and the Falcon Clubs high rollers. Sam thinks back to when James came up to her at the tables when she was losing. Sam goes over and demands to know where Emily got that chip. She tells her she found it in Lucinda's stables. Emily tell Sam that she wants an interview. Sam declines her and gives her a rude comment or two. Jack busts up the argument and Emily leaves, but not before she tells Jack to forget about getting her number. "Just call the City Times," she says and leaves. Jack is bummed out. Sam tells him, "Sorry...a lot of history there." "Really...never would have guessed." Jack cracks. They talk, Jack flirts. She asks him to tell Mr. James, if he sees him again, that she is looking for him. James watches from the monitor and says..."Oh..I'll find you when I'm ready Samantha." "Damn.... What's he doing here?" James demands. DAVID enters the Falcon Club and runs into Lisa. David joins Lisa. He tells Lisa that he gave Tom his resignation. "Why?", Lisa wants to know. He tells her. Lisa tells David that Tom really does think he's a brilliant lawyer. Lisa tells David that she has to go meet her Grandsons at the bus stop, but she makes him promise to re-think resigning. He promises....just to think about it. Lisa leaves and Jack yells over to David, that he has a phone call. James tells David that he needs to stick around, that Oakdale has a lot to offer. David demands to know who he's talking to. "A friend......the best friend you'll ever have."

TOM visits MARGO at Spring Lakes Mental Facility. Margo tells Tom that she's gotten the first good nights sleep in a year. She feels as if things are finally getting back to normal. DR. WHITCOM comes in and tells Margo since she came in late last night, that he'll take her through the standard orintaition...amoung other things. He tells Tom that he'd prefer to be alone with Margo and asks Tom to go home and get Margo things that are on her list from home. Tom waves bye to her. Tom goes to the office to find DAVID packing...David hands Tom his resignation. Tom asks him why....David says he really didn't have much choice. Tom tells David that even though they have differences of opinions. Tom tells him that if he leaves without finishing the Santana case, that he won't give him a good reference when a potential employer calls and asks about David's credentials. They argue some more. Finally David asks about the amount of authority he'd have in the case. Tom tells David..."Kirk Anderson is your baby. You prosecute him as you see fit. But..If you want to make a name for yourself, its a perfect opportunity, or you can resign. You make the call. You have time to think about it. Don't take to long." Tom leaves. Later...Tom comes back and sees how Margo is settling in. He gives Margo the things she asked for. Tom pulls out a thing that Casey made out of clay for Margo, some pointy, horned thing...to ward off evil aliens. They are laughing about it when Dr. Whitcom tells Tom that he'll have to take that back home with him. Patients aren't allowed sharp poited objects in there rooms. Tom goes off on him and tells him that he need to quit treating Margo as a child, that she deserves more respect than that. That she was a police officer for God's sake. Margo tries to calm him. The doctor tells Tom that they don't lock rooms here, that anyone of the patients could get ahold of that. Tom appologizes to the doctor. Margo kisses Tom goodbye and as the Doctor points to his watch. She has to get to a group therapy session.

EMILY is out in Lucinda's barn checking for more clues to Kirk's shooting. She's already found a $1,000 chip from the Falcon Club and a mysterious woman lurking, who fled when Em saw her. She's pondering it all over, when HOLDEN slips up behind her. "Looking for something?" He asks.

MOLLY, sitting in County Jail, adds more to her diary. She says how she'd dreamed of Holden again, how she can't ever see him again, and how she wished she could hate Lily....but she can't....Lily is her friend.

At Walsh Estates...LILY thanks SAM for coming home and helping her. She tells Sam, that she is the only one who could have gotten Kirk to confess. Sam tells Lily that she went to see Kirk at the hospital. Lily says she understands and if there is anything she can do for her, just let her know. Sam says there is something.... but it's an awful lot to ask.

LUCINDA finds JAMES in her bedroom, again. "You know why I'm here," James says. "I want to know what you think of our son."

SAM tells LILY how she lost all of her money and all of the Walsh Stock Lucinda gave her in a high stakes game in Monte Carlo. Sam tells Lily that she has a chance to buy it back. Lily says that she'll get her the money... and when does she need it. Sam tells her that she'll get ahold of "Mr. James" and find out the details.

EMILY tells HOLDEN that she is there to get the digs on the Kirk Anderson shooting. Holden asks her why she's doing it instead of one of her many hosts of reporters. "What are you trying to prove." He asks. She tells him that she is trying to prove that she can nail a hot story on her own. She tells him that she is still a big joke in Oakdale. She tells him how she is done with men and relationships....that she'll aim for a Pulitzer Prize. They head for the house for more tips.

LUCINDA tells JAMES that he is cruel, that her son was still born. James insist that David Allen is their son. "Why are you doing this?" Lucinda asks James. James tells Lucinda what a great son he'd be with the both of them behind him. Lucinda tells James that she went down to Davids office to speak to him about her sister Sam's hostage situation and why things happened the way they did. James tells he she didn't need to go there for that answer. "Oh..I can tell you about that. I saw Kirk holding a gun on your sister. So.....I shot him." James states. "You shot Kirk?!?!" Lucinda questions. Lucinda tells him that he couldn't have done it. There were too many people, S.W.A.T. teams around, he couldn't have gotten out there Lucy states. James lets Lucinda know that he did indeed shoot Kirk, just winged him. "To protect you investment....David" Lucinda quips. In a manner of speaking, that is the reason, James lets on. Lucinda tells James that David may be his son.....but there is no way that he is her son. He tells her that he has proof.

NIKKI re-reads Ryder's letter to her. Nikki calls Kim and asks for Ryders address in South Beach, so she can write him. HAL comes in and apologizes for missing her Birthday. She tells him that she saw what happened on the news. Hal brings her a present. Nikki loves the watch he gave her. He tells her that everyday he is thankful that he has a daughter like her. Nikki tells him that she is old enough to vote, join the army... She'd like to be treated like an adult. Hal tells her that he'll try. She asks him if he minds if she sees Ryder....and that she loves Ryder.

LILY goes to visit MOLLY at the County Jail. Lily tells Molly that Jessica Griffin has got her a new bail hearing. David Allen is going to come through for us, Lily tells her. I'll never get out, Molly tells Lily. Forget about it, Molly tells her, they'll never let me out of here. Lily is puzzled by Molly's behavior. Molly lets Lily know that she doesn't have the same back ground as she does, that as soon as she opens her mouth, she'll be tossed back in. Lily tells Molly that she'll just have to control her temper and her mouth and she'll do fine. "Don't go shoot yourself in the foot." Lily tells her. Molly finally agrees to go through with it. Lily tells Molly that she'll be there at the hearing for moral support..and maybe she'll even bring Holden. Molly freezes.

EMMA and HOLDEN walk into the Falcon Club and JACK greets them near the bar. Holden tells Jack that they'll wait at the bar, because Lily will be joining them soon. Emma comments on the changes in the Falcon Club. Holden asks about other changes. What's he like, Holden wants to know. "I've never met him." Jack says. Emma and Holden are amazed that Jack is working for someone that he's never met. Jack explains that the new owner's Lawyers get ahold of him with all the information that he needs to know and he just follows the orders. Holden asks why the new owner is being so mysterious.

LUCINDA asks JAMES.."What are you going to do?...Provide me with some forged birth certificate or other medical records?" James tells her that no, he knows she is too smart for something like that. He tells her to go back to the source. Go back to the Hospital..Medical records. She tells him that she's not going to bite. "I'll go on in Matthew...Lucinda is expecting me." EMILY says coming up the hallway. Lucinda pops out into the hall, and heads her off. "Emily! Damn it, damn it, Emily." Lucinda asks. Emily tells Lucy that she wants the scoop on the story. Lucinda orders her out. What are you so nervous about, Emily wants to know. "If you must know, I'm not alone." Lucinda tells her. Emily is shocked and a bit embarrassed.

HAL gets a phone call from the Commissioner. Hal tells him that the bullet that came out of Anderson came from a rifle foreign issue. We haven't found the casing yet. Hal gets off the phone and apologizes to NIKKI for the interruption. Nikki asks Hal again, about being able to see Ryder. Hal tells her that he is nothing but trouble and she'll just have to trust him on this one. "That's what I thought you'd say." Nikki says. She asks Hal to help her put her watch on. Hal asks her if that's all she has to say, no argument? Nikki tells him that she doesn't want to argue anymore.

MOLLY tells LILY that she doesn't want her to bring Holden. Lily wonders why, but she'll do what she wants. Lily assures Molly that she'll get out from under this. Molly tells her that she didn't have to do all of this. Lily tells Molly that she saved her life and she wants to see her back on the right track. Lily then tells her that she can find that guy, and finish writing her book.."Love Lost and Found." "It'll have to be fiction", Molly says. "You are so cynical." Lily quips. Lily tells Molly that she has to go meet Holden for dinner. "When you get out....I want you to get to know Holden." Lily tells Molly as she leaves. Molly just shakes her head...."Get to know Holden."

HAL tells NIKKI that he has to get back to work. Nikki tells Hal that she has a friend she is going to go look at colleges with this weekend and wants to know if it's O.K. if she goes. Hal is elated! "Sure go! Find one you like and I'll pay for it." Hal says and he leaves. ADAM walks in. Nikki gives him some pictures they had taken at the mall. Nikki talks with him and tells him what a wonderful little brother he is. They have a wonderful talk and then she tells him that he'd better be getting on home. Adam leaves and Nikki zips her bag and says to herself that she'll be in South Beach in a couple of days and walks out the door with her bags.

HOLDEN and EMMA still can't believe JACK works for someone he's never met. Jack let them know that as long as he doesn't get fired, he's happy. A waitress walks up and tells Jack that she has a friend that is interested in a waitressing job also. Jack tells Emma and Holden that he has to get back to work. Holden tells Emma that he is surprised....Jack nearly gets kicked out of the Police Academy...He quits his job with the Agency, because he doesn't like the rules... now he's settling down to run this restaurant.

EMILY teases LUCINDA about her room guest. Lucinda finally gets rid of Emily and goes back to her into her room. James is no where to be found.

On the deck of the Falcon Club....SAM runs into JAMES. She tells him that she hoped she'd run into him there. She tells him that she wants to make him an offer. She wants to buy back the stock he won from her at market rate. She tells him that she wants to get the stock back before her sister finds out that she squandered it. He tells her that he's not ready to give it up right now. Sam tells him that he scammed it off of her at a poker games and demands to know why he wants to hang onto it. You can't find a better offer, she tells him. Sam asks if he still has it. He tells her yes, and that he'll get in touch with her in a few days. He gives her a list and tells her to take her loan and invest it in these and she'll double her money. Sam looks down at the list....and James is gone. LILY walks up and Sam asks if she saw the man she was just talking to. Lily tells her no, and that she has to go inside to meet Holden and Emma. Inside..Lily sits down with HOLDEN and EMMA. Emma excuses herself and Holden asks Lily how she slept last night.

JAMES walks into the office and AMBER tells him that he really shouldn't go out alone like that. He tells her that he'll let her know when he needs her services. James then checks the security cameras and sees Holden and Lily at the bar. "True love....true love never quits...Well....you enjoy her Holden.... Because you won't have little Lily for long." James states.

KIRK is visited by EMILY in the hospital. She brings him flowers. She tells Kirk that she needs information. She wants to know if he saw who shot him. Kirk figures one of the cops. Emily tells him that it wasn't the cops and she's gonna find out who did do it. Emily tells him that he was shot by a rifle. Not a police weapon. You were shot from the stables. Kirk tells Emily that he has a theory. He thinks he was shot by Diego's real killer. "What?!?!?!" Emily shouts. Kirk tells Emily that all that stuff he told Sam was just to impress her. He said that was lucky and found Margo's gun. Kirk then tells her that no one should do time for killing Diego...it was a public service. Emily agrees. She tells him that he is going to jail unless you get some help...she tells him that she's going to offer him a deal. She tells him that with the power of the press on his side...he is more likely to get off. Kirk wants to know what the catch is. Emily tells him to forget about the fake gun incident that he witnessed when Emily got Lucinda to sign over the City Times to her. Kirk asks why should he do that. "You'd get to stand around and watch Lucinda lose once in her bossy miserable life." Emily says. "Yeah...it's a heavy burden ,but for you old friend....."Kirks states. "Only friend, Kirk, only friend." Emily says. "Yeah...You and the guy who shot me. He just may be my ticket out of here. Are you sure the cops didn't do it?" Kirk asks. "Yeah." Emily responds. "Then who?" Kirk wonders out loud.

MARK is arguing with a demolition worker who is getting ready to level the tree house. CONNOR shows up. Mark asks to see who signed off on it. Connor tells the worker that David Allen, the District Attorney, said that he was going to have it turned into a city garden. This isn't city property. They find out that the tree house is built on private property, not city property like David Allen said. "He made it all up!!" Mark screams.

LILY, JESSICA and MOLLY meet at the court house. Lily presents Molly with a beautiful dress suit. Molly is thrilled with it. The guard takes her to get changed. Lily is wowed by how good Molly looks. Lily asks if she can have a few minutes alone to talk with Molly. The guard says she'll be outside the door. They talk about the questions the Judge will ask and how she'll respond. Molly says she'll be fine as long as the Judge doesn't tick her off. Lily tells her just to hold her breath and count and they'll be out having lunch before she knows it. The Judge comes out, it's JUDGE SHAW, the same Judge Lily had. "Mrs. Grimaldi...ah....Lily...it's good to see ya." Judge Shaw stammers. "Why am I seeing you?" He finishes. She tells him that she is here with Miss. Conlin. Lily interrupts and puts in her two cents. "There are a lot of innocent people in jail, as you well know." Lily tells the Judge. The fill in for David Allen tells the Judge that the D.A.'s office still views Miss. Conlin as a flight risk. Lily then offers to let Molly stay at her house 'til her court date. Molly says she can't do that. The Judge wants to know why can't she. Lily has a small child at home and her being there would disrupt there routine, Molly says grabbing at straws. Lily says it will be no such trouble and the Judge says the only way he'll consider he bail is if she stays with Lily. Molly finally agrees. The Judge grants bail. Molly tells Lily that once she is at her house she'll need her own space, just to enjoy the quiet and she doesn't want to meet any new people for a while. Lily understands.

LUCINDA walks into Lily's house, griping about how she shouldn't leave the door standing wide open. HOLDEN tells her that he did it. He tells her that he just brought in Luke's new bed. Lucinda asks where Lily is. At the court house bailing her new friend out, Holden tells her. Lucinda start ranting about how this person in going to take advantage of Lily and her money. "Just like you thought I would." Holden retorts. Lucinda tells him that that was in the past, before they understood each other. Holden asks Lucinda if she's going to turn on him, again. Lucinda runs over and kisses him and tells him that she can't believe that he'd think that, now after all they'd been through together. He tells her that he and Lily are seeing each other again, but they are taking in slow. He wants to know if she still feels the same about him after hearing that. Lucinda tells him that she thinks it's wonderful. She tells him that she is eternally grateful to him. She offers him a job at World Wide. She tells him that she needs him, that she needs someone she can trust. She tells him she needs him in a Manager position. Holden tells her that he didn't really like that kind of work. He wants to be a Horse Trainer. She tells him that she'll be flexible with his schedule. "So..let me get this straight. You're happy that I'm seeing Lily again. You seem disappointed that I'm not living here and you're going to turn your company over to me. What are you up to Lucinda?" Holden quizzes. Lucinda wants to know why everyone refused to let her change when she wants to. She goes over and hugs him and tells him that everything she said to him in the wine cellar was true. That he's a decent hard working young man, and he's a good guy. "Yeah, I was the son, that you never had..."Holden quips. "What are you talking about!" Lucinda demands. "It was a joke." Holden says. He apologizes. Lucinda covers up and apologizes to him for over reacting. She tells him that she is worried about what is going to happen to Lily next. Holden wants to know what she means. Holden asks her if she is sick, or if she's in trouble. Lucinda helps Holden put together Luke's bed. They continue to talk. Lucinda hints that she is really worried about something, but she won't talk about it yet. Holden tells her that when she is ready to tell him, to come back..he'll listen. Lucinda leaves. Holden finishes up the bed and is cleaning up when Lily gets home. "One big boys bed." He says proudly. Lily thanks him and then tells him that Molly will be moving in with her.

EMILY walks into the Falcon Club and walks up to the bar. (The New...and hopefully improved) DAVID ALLEN is sitting at the bar eating. "I thought you always ate at your desk." Emily says. JACK walks up and picks on her a bit. Emily starts asking questions. David tells her to go talk to Hal Munson. Jack sits back and eavesdrops while James watches and listen by the monitor system in his office. David tells Emily that when he gets the chance he'll do everything in his power to get the gunman who shot Kirk. MARK and CONNOR walk in. Mark confronts David about his scam. David tries to leave. Mark tells David that he knows that David has wanted to talk to him for weeks....well I'll talk now, Mark snaps. David tells Mark to get out of his face. Mark says O.K. and turns to go...the spins back around and clocks him in the jaw, sending him halfway across the bar, knocking over trays and glassware. David comes back swingin'. David and Mark get into a knock down drag out. Jack busts it up and has Mark leave. "Stay out of my life Allen!" Mark hollers back as he's leaving. Emily asks David what that was all about, he tells her its none of her business. Jack goes to get David some ice. Back in his office...James watched the whole thing. "You may have lost the battle son...But I'll make sure you win the war." James says to himself. Jack tries to console David. David tells him that he's fine, that he's been through worse. "Just ask Emily," he says. He turns around...Emily is nowhere in sight. "Where'd she go?" David asks. Emily makes her way to the office with the monitors. She lets herself in and leaves the lights off. She is looking at the monitor system when she hears the door shut and lock. She checks the door...it is locked. She starts to use the phone...the door opens and there is the form of a man shadowed there. Emily starts to panic when he comes toward her. It's Jack. He tells her that its O.K., what's the matter. He walks her out front to the bar and gives her a drink. She lies and tells him that she made a wrong turn and somehow got locked in. She continues to tell him that she's claustrophobic, but she'll be O.K. Jack tries to comfort her. James watches on the monitor. "See what happens when you play with the big boys Emily. Didn't you learn anything from your encounter with Diego?" James says to himself. "I'm alright. I'll be alright." Emily's voice says from the across the monitor. "As long as you stay out of things that don't concern you." James adds.

Back at the torn down tree house MARK and CONNOR talk about Marks temper. "What about the next time." Mark asks. "You'll be fine, you controlled your temper." Connor says. Mark tells her that he saw the look in David's eyes. That David is going to keep coming after them.

DAVID walks into some room and is starting to look at his lip in the mirror....He sees JAMES in the background. "Who the hell are you?" David demands.
