Yes, Jeremy Allen White covers his tattoos for The Bear. For every episode of The Bear, five of his tattoos are covered for filming. One of the makeup artists of the show, Ignacia Soto-Aguilar, shared on her Instagram that after covering 5 of his personal tattoos, 11 tattoos were added to his body for his character on the show.

It takes the makeup team 24 minutes to conceal his personal tattoos and apply temporary tattoos on the actor’s body. Earlier, it used to take the team one hour and twenty-six minutes for this process in Season 1 of The Bear. It takes a village to complete this process, as Jeremy has to first shave the hair around his tattoos, and then the makeup artist covers them with makeup, blow-dries it to set it, and adds the temporary tattoos to his body.
