American comedian and actor Pete Davidson was born on November 16, 1993, in Staten Island, New York, and began performing stand-up as a teenager. He gained recognition at the age of twenty as one of the youngest people to join the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” He remained on the show for seven seasons, until 2024 and became widely recognized for his original characters and appearances on the “Weekend Update” segment.


Beyond television, Davidson has worked in numerous films and comedy specials. He starred in the dark comedy drama “The King of Staten Island (2020),” as Scott Carlin. The film was a semi-autobiographical narrative that drew from his personal experiences. He also co-wrote and starred in the Peacock comedy series “Bupkis (2023),” a fictionalized account of his experiences with fame and mental health.


Davidson is a recipient of the 2021 CinEuphoria Award for “Best Actor- International Competition,” and has received seven award nominations. He has also openly shared his journey with Crohn’s disease and borderline personality disorder, contributing to needed conversations surrounding physical and mental health.

Davidson’s film debut was as Stinkfinger in the 2014 musical “School Dance.” In 2018, he appeared as Duncan in the romantic comedy “Set It Up,” and in 2019 he appeared in five different films including, “Big Time Adolescence” where he played Zeke, “The Dirt,” where he portrayed Tom Zutaut, and “The Jesus Rolls,” where he depicted Jack. He also voiced Jerry in the animated film “The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019).” His filmography also includes DC Universe’s “The Suicide Squad (2021)” and Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023).” More recently, he starred as Petey in “Dog Man (2025)," an action-adventure animated film adapted from Dav Pilkey’s books series.

Davidson’s television journey started with “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” in 2013 when he appeared as Steven in Season 1. He joined “Saturday Night Live” the very next year and worked with the show for a decade. Moreover, he guest starred in several shows throughout the years including “The Jim Gaffigan Show” in 2016, “The Guest Book” in 2018, and “The Kids in the Hall” in 2022. He also voiced Phineas T.
