What is Novocaine about?

Novocaine centers around Nathan Caine who suffers from congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), an uncommon disease. When he attempts to rescue his girlfriend who has been taken hostage in a bank heist, his uncommon genetic condition that makes him immune to physical pain comes in handy. His condition suddenly transforms into a superpower, making him an action hero with a kick. He could be seen repeating, "It's fine," after a knife is stabbed into his hand, when glass fragments get stuck in his knuckles, and when he takes a revolver out of a hot deep fryer. The American actress Amber Midthunder is portraying Quaid’s love interest in the film.
