Disney is set to release a live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch on May 23, 2025. In this version, the character of Cobra Bubbles will be played by Courtney B. Vance. He is an American actor known for his work in film, TV, and theater. He was born on March 12, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan. He studied acting at Harvard University and later trained at the Yale School of Drama. Vance made his film debut in Hamburger Hill (1987), a war movie about American soldiers during the Vietnam War.

Vance is best known for playing Johnnie Cochran in the TV show The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016), for which he won an Emmy Award. He also received praise for his role in Lovecraft Country (2020).
