His need for approval and friendship frequently met with ridicule, such as when his brief stint as a popular kid in Bart of Darkness (Season 6, Episode 1) ends with his pool exploding and his peers abandoning him.

However, Martin also surprises the viewers with moments of resilience. In “The Simpsons Movie (2007),” he stands up to his tormentors, declaring, “I’ve been taking your crap all my life!” before fighting back. Russi Taylor was the talented voice actress behind several beloved characters on “The Simpsons,” most notably Martin Prince, as well as twins Sherri and Terri, Üter Zörker, and Gummy Sue. She worked on the series from 1990-2019, voicing characters across 193 episodes and in the 2007 feature film. Beyond “The Simpsons,” Taylor was best known as the voice of Disney’s Minnie Mouse, a role she landed in 1986 after surpassing over 200 other voice actors. For more than three decades, she voiced Minnie in films, television series, and animated shorts. She also lent her voice to characters in “Muppet Babies (1984-1991),” and “The Flintstones (1980-2015) franchise, and earned multiple Emmy nominations for her work.

Following the passing of Taylor in 2019, Grey DeLisle was announced as the new voice of Martin Prince, Sherri and Terri, and Üter Zörker, among others. DeLisle is a voice actress and singer-songwriter with a background in animation and video games. She is widely recognized for her roles as Vicky in “The Fairly OddParents (2001-2007)” and Mandy in “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy (2003-2007).” DeLisle has won ten Behind the Voice Actors Awards and received nominations for honors including Annie Awards and a Children’s & Family Emmy Award.
