Hallie Parrott is player number 355 in Squid Game: The Challenge. She is from Illinois, Chicago, and she was 24 years old at the time of the show. She competed in the show to use the prize money to help her twin sister with her law school fees. She planned to make friends with athletic people so that they could help her in the game ahead. She was among the remaining women who were saved at the end of the marble game. She noticed that there were only 9 women left, so she wanted all the women to stick together.

It was Charles (Player No. 221) who saved her in the Dorm game, which helped her get into the Glass Bridge round. He saved her because he wanted to ensure that all nine women could move forward in the show and said, “Representation matters.” She picked Elliott (Player no. 429) to continue the game with her. In the Glass Bridge round, she was assigned No. 18, and she passed the round. In one of the last rounds, Circle of Trust, she was close to becoming one of the three finalists, but in the end, she made a wrong guess that Mai was the one who put the gift box on her desk when it was actually Phil (Player No. 451). She got eliminated before the finale.

In an interview with Netflix Tudum, Hallie shared about her experience and said, “The Circle of Trust has definitely kept me up at night since we filmed the show. I was so in my head at that point that I’m not sure I ever could have guessed who put the damn box on my desk. It’s hard to regret it too much now because I was shocked I even made it past Red Light, Green Light. I think the two main things that got me far in the game were trusting my gut and being nice to people, and I can’t feel too bad about that.”

She explained how she gained perspective from her experience in the game and said, “I’ve always been assumed to be a high-maintenance drama queen — and that’s not untrue. But I think I’ve proven that I’m also multi-faceted: I like what I like and am proud to be a girly-girl, but can totally be a badass when I put my mind to it.” She added, “Now, when I’m faced with something nerve-wracking, like a root canal at the dentist, I just tell myself, ‘You survived Squid Game: The Challenge — this is nothing compared to that!’”

After the game, she is still in touch with her fellow contestants who live in Chicago, including Kevin, Emma, Mark, and Trey. She talked about her life after the show and said, “I started a new job, celebrated my four-year anniversary with my boyfriend, saw Taylor Swift in concert.” According to her LinkedIn, currently, she is a Senior Account Executive at Ruder Finn in Illinois, Chicago. She graduated from Emerson College in 2021 with a degree in Communication Studies and Economics.
