What happened during the week of December 31, 2012

While Bill tried to fast-talk his way out of the intervention at his house, Dayzee revealed to Hope that Bill had done something to sabotage the Italy wedding. Bill ignored Hope's attempts to confront him about it, so Hope bashed in his terrace door with a golf club and confronted him in the middle of the intervention. Hope went straight to Liam with the news, and when Liam confronted Bill about the manipulations, Bill stabbed himself in the chest with Liam's discarded sword necklace. Bill implored Liam not to ruin their relationship, and Liam took his sword necklace back. Later, Bill bought Katie a necklace with cash he kept strapped to his chest in the exact spot in which he'd supposedly stabbed himself. As Rick and Thomas prepared to begin the fashion showdown at Forrester, Steffy headed to the airport for a flight to Paris to see Ridge. Hope seized the chance to warn Liam that she was taking him back. On the way to the airport, Steffy took a side trip to her office, where she scored positive on a home pregnancy test.

What happened during the week of December 31, 2012

Sami blasted Kristen and Brady about their relationship then said that she would make things right again in the family. Brady played into Kristen's hands and cut off ties with his family to be with her. Marlena admitted to John that she had known about Brady and Kristen's affair for a long time. John decided that he needed some time away from Marlena to sort things out and checked into a hotel. Caroline and Kayla received news from Stephanie that would change Daniel's life. Chloe showed up at Daniel's apartment and said Parker was his biological son. Daniel was overjoyed to see and spend time with his son. Later, Daniel reassured Jennifer that he loved her, and that Parker would not get between them. Chloe told Nicole that she wanted Daniel back and found an ally in an old friend at the hospital that might help her. Kate and Chloe had a run-in about Parker, and Kate was determined to get revenge. Cameron realized that Nick was not the father of Gabi's baby. Gabi met with Cameron to ensure he kept her secret, but while they talked, someone eavesdropped. Gabi asked Will to be the godfather of her baby, but Nick convinced them that it was not a good idea, and alienated Will again in the process. Rafe told Sami that he wanted to be with her after the wedding. Chad accepted Abigail's offer to be her date at the wedding, with his own agenda in mind. As Gabi and Nick's wedding was about to conclude, Chad announced to shocked guests that Nick was not the father of Gabi's baby.

Patrick broke the news to Trey's loved ones that Trey had suffered a ruptured aneurysm and was brain-dead. Kristina was furious when Connie decided not to take Trey off of life support. Kristina insisted that Trey would want to die with dignity. Connie was arrested for her role in assaulting Starr, kidnapping Johnny, and striking a pedestrian with her car, but Sonny bailed Connie out. Connie considered consenting to removing Trey from life support, but ended up escaping to the Floating Rib instead. A.J. was embarrassed when Elizabeth revealed that Monica had asked Elizabeth to be a friend to A.J. Elizabeth assured A.J. that she didn't mind because she could always use a new friend. A.J. was stunned when Lucy agreed to vote with Tracy. Lucy explained that Tracy had offered Lucy a more lucrative deal. A.J. ended up at the Floating Rib, where Connie offered to buy A.J. a drink. Connie spotted Sonny in the doorway of the bar, so she kissed A.J. Britt claimed that Patrick had been mortified that Sabrina had almost kissed him on New Year's Eve and that he was concerned that Sabrina's crush might open him up to sexual harassment charges. Elizabeth warned Sabrina not to trust anything that Britt said, so Sabrina decided to talk to Patrick directly. Sabrina was horrified when she spotted Patrick and Britt having sex in the hospital's locker room shower. Maxie couldn't find the words to tell Lulu and Dante about the miscarriage. Spinelli learned that Ellie had been admitted to the hospital after a car accident. Ellie and Spinelli were stunned when Patrick revealed that Ellie had suffered a spinal cord injury that might result in permanent paralysis. Carly was heartbroken when Johnny decided to take Todd down with him by revealing that Todd had knowingly switched T�a's dead baby with Sam's live one. Luke called Anna from the Turkish prison. Anna told Luke that Robert was in a coma. The doctor revealed that they didn't know the extent of Robert's brain damage, so Robert might not wake up. Anna had difficulty being around Duke because he reminded her of what Faison had done. John told Sam that Faison had confessed to shooting Jason and then had tossed Jason's body into the water, so there was no doubt that Jason had died.

Phyllis escorted Jack to his family cabin for his rehab. Jack was forced to go cold turkey when the doctor was delayed, and Jack hallucinated that Phyllis was Stephanie. Victoria and Billy teamed up to ensure that Jack wouldn't lose Jabot, and Billy started work as co-CEO of Newman Enterprises. Victor plotted to expose Jack and Adam's involvement in Stephanie's death to the press, and he revealed his suspicions to Congressman Marcus Wheeler, Stephanie's father. Sharon accepted Adam's job offer. Adam and Chelsea decided to move to Paris, but Adam called it off at the last minute. Chelsea sadly realized that Adam would never be ready to leave Genoa City. Victor and Adam tried to outsmart one another. Neil and Cane clashed over leadership of Jabot. Leslie struggled to keep her relationship with Neil professional. Tyler planned to make inroads with Lily at the opening of the Underground. Noah told Adriana that the money was gone, but he agreed to stand by her. Alex confronted Adriana about the missing money. Alex suspected that Chloe and Kevin had the money, but he had no proof. With Chelsea's help, Chloe brainstormed a way for her and Kevin to use the stolen money to keep their house. Sharon, Nick, Noah, and Faith celebrated Cassie's birthday by making cookies. After a series of mishaps, Nick's plans to open the Underground remained on schedule, thanks to Avery. Dylan McAvoy bought a ticket to Genoa City.
