What happened during the week of February 25, 2013
Hope asked Liam to make a decision based upon what he wanted, no matter what others thought. Liam wanted to be the man he saw in Hope's eyes, and that meant standing by his child. Liam and Hope kissed each other goodbye, and Liam returned to the pregnant Steffy. To cheer up Hope, Oliver showed her the hope symbol tattoo he'd gotten on his ankle. Bill consoled Brooke about Liam and Hope and advised Brooke to get herself back into the game at Forrester. Taylor joined Eric for a romantic dinner, and he gave her a nightgown he'd designed. Brooke found Taylor and Eric in Stephanie's bedroom and accused Taylor of seducing and using Eric. Eric declared that he loved Taylor, ordered Brooke out of the house, then pronounced Taylor the new Forrester matriarch.

What happened during the week of February 25, 2013
Kristen lied to Brady about Stefano's health and convinced Brady to move in with her. Brady was furious when he overheard Kristen tell Stefano that she had tricked Brady to move in with her. Kristen panicked and reeled Brady back in when she shared with him the horrible things that had happened to her during the time that she had been away from Salem. John and Marlena tried to reach each other with Brady's news, but they couldn't connect. Sonny and Will reconciled then made love. Nick went to see Will and demanded that he give up his parental rights to the baby. When Will refused, Nick revealed that he had proof that Will, not Lucas, had shot E.J. Nick encouraged Will to do the right thing or else face prison time. Nick told Gabi to name him as the baby's father on the birth certificate and not to worry about Will or Sami. Nick assured Gabi that he would protect her and the baby. Will told Lucas that Nick knew the truth about E.J.'s shooting. Sami's attempt to threaten Nick backfired after she learned Nick had blackmailed Will. Lucas and Sonny tried to talk Will out of turning himself in to the police. Nick had Will and his family right where he wanted them. Nick handed Will a legal document and forced him to sign away his parental rights. Lucas, Sami, E.J., and Sonny stood by, powerless to help Will. Eric's life was in danger again, but he talked down the junkie that had attacked him and Nicole earlier. Nicole almost told Eric the truth about her feelings for him. Eric asked Abe to help start a prisoner's outreach program. Chloe and Abigail came to blows in Horton Square. Jennifer told Daniel that she wanted to break up with him.

What happened during the week of February 25, 2013
Caleb was revealed to be a man named Stephen Clay who had suffered a psychotic breakdown after the death of his wife, Livvie, which had sent him on a killing spree. John caught up with Caleb in the tunnels of Wyndemere and plunged a silver-tipped arrow into Caleb's heart. Lucy was shocked when John removed two prosthetic fangs from Caleb's mouth. Sam was safely reunited with Danny. Alexis tensed when Anna asked who Sam's father was. Duke stole the last jar of Lila's pickle relish and gave it to A.J. Tracy turned the tables on Duke when Spinelli revealed that Duke worked for ELQ. Tracy hired Spinelli to steal the recipe once it was extracted from the pickle relish. Starr and Ellie worked together to analyze the last spoonful of relish. Heather inadvertently stabbed Steve when she tried to kill Olivia. Steve was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Steve's brush with death made Olivia realize that she didn't want to wait to get married. Steve and Olivia exchanged wedding vows and rings, but the Memphis police showed up to arrest Steve before Steve and Olivia were pronounced husband and wife. Elizabeth accepted A.J.'s invitation to go out on a date. Sabrina discovered that she would not be graduating from nursing school. Frisco made it clear that he wanted to rekindle things with Felicia.

Dylan recognized Phyllis, who realized that he was the man Avery had cheated with. Phyllis blasted Avery for being a hypocrite. Jack found a stash of pills, but he crushed them. Jack and Phyllis made love. Dylan and Sharon opened up to one another, but Dylan froze when she mentioned Sullivan. Sharon accepted Adam's invitation to move in during her kitchen renovations. During a hike, Faith went missing, but Dylan rescued her. Someone tampered with the brakes of Avery's car, but she refused to back down from the Innocence Foundation case. Avery became suspicious of Leslie's interest in the case. Leslie confided to Neil that she'd testified against her father after she'd found her dad standing over her mother's body. Neil warned Marcus to stay away from Leslie. Neil granted Chelsea the job as Jabot's new designer. Chelsea considered leaving town to keep Adam from learning about her pregnancy, but Chloe and Cane talked her out of it. Lily resented Cane's support of Chelsea, and she lashed out by spending more time working with Tyler. Michael resigned as district attorney and turned the job over to Christine. Fen made amends with Michael. Lauren and Carmine had sex. The new Newman ranch was completed, and Victor invited his family over to celebrate. Noah was upset when Adriana crashed the event. Abby warned Kyle that Summer had a crush on him. Jill accused Adriana of stealing a watch, but Katherine had forgetfully misplaced it. Kevin realized that Adriana could easily steal from Katherine.

Zach and Ethan pulled Edmund from the burning barn. Jonathan looked for Maggie. Maria and Brooke talked about Maria's marriage to Edmund. Aidan rescued Lily. Maria and David were unable to rescue Edmund and had to come to terms with his death. Jamie wanted to marry Babe right away. Zach refused to defend himself against allegations that he had killed Edmund. Ryan became suspicious that Jonathan had poisoned Greenlee. David, Krystal, and Babe were sentenced. Maria said goodbye to Edmund. Ryan tried to get answers from Zach. Kendall and Greenlee demanded David's help. Brooke couldn't decide if she should tell Maria the truth about Edmund. Greenlee and Kendall planned to get the truth from Jonathan. Zach had an ominous warning for Erica. Ethan told Aidan that he had seen Zach kill Edmund. Erica tried to get through to Lily.

After Lily and Julia struggled, Julia hit her head and died. Carly and Luke decided to protect Lily. Paul decided that Rosanna had left him for another reason. Mike and Katie decided to move on and be friends. Jennifer decided to go back to Street Jeans after seeing Mike and Katie hug. After a shaky start, Metro opened under new management. Celia and Casey bonded. Dusty received a letter from Lucy. Jack opened a murder investigation.

Harley told Gus, Jeffrey, and her family that she remembered pulling the trigger on Phillip. Alan, however, knew the truth was that Harley really couldn't remember, but had decided to take the plea bargain to save her children and Gus any further emotional trauma. Olivia saw "red" over Bill's devotion to and friendship with Harley, and Alan's plan to add Sebastian to the president's payroll. Dinah's intervention was a disaster and only antagonized an already "over the edge" individual to take more drastic steps for revenge on Cassie. Jonathan manipulated Reva into pursuing legal action against Edmund for almost causing Jeffrey, Cassie, and RJ to die in the barn fire with the ploy that Reva should save Cassie from her "madman" of a husband before she conceived his child. Edmund isolated an unknowing Cassie from her family and friends in the hopes that no one would interfere with his master plan to conceive a child with Cassie.

Kevin took Todd to the police station and, with the police, tracked Blair down to the junkyard where the car she had been in had been towed and crushed. Todd broke the news of Blair's death to Starr and promised revenge on Margaret. Dorian refused to accept Blair's death, but after lying to Addie about Blair, broke down. Bo stunned everyone by announcing Blair had escaped from the car's trunk before it was crushed, but a stranger was the one who had found her unconscious body among some trash. Riley and Jen moved in together, but when Daniel helped unpack, he found that Jen's printer provided more evidence that Jen had given Rex the $10,000. R.J. won temporary custody of Jamie, and Antonio prepared to fight back with Tico's money. By night, Jessica picked up a man at a bar, but by day, having no memory, grew closer to Antonio. Kevin and Kelly said goodbye to Kevin Jr. at the cemetery and tearfully wished they could forgive one another. Natalie let slip to an angry Evangeline that she had advised John on giving her a key, but John had told Evangeline that she was the one.

Fox was shocked when Whitney refused his hand in marriage. TC and Liz arrived on the scene, and TC attacked Chad, furious at Chad for interfering in his daughter's life. Whitney stunned everyone when she announced she'd turned down Fox's proposal because she never wanted to get married. Whitney declared she was going to raise her child by herself. Ethan consoled Theresa, who was distraught over their missing baby. Ethan was hesitant when she requested he spend the night with her and Little Ethan. Sam encouraged Martin to reveal his secret to his family, but Martin insisted it would destroy them. After speaking with Father Lonigan, Luis worried that Sheridan was suicidal. Beth pretended to be a caring friend to a tearful Sheridan, all the while planning her rival's "suicide." At an underground nightclub, Jessica and Paloma flirted with men and unwittingly took drugs. Sleazy Randy led a barely conscious Jessica to a back room and took advantage of her. Having found Paloma at the club and taken her home, Kay and Simone watched over her and worried about Jessica. Kay had a disturbing vision of her sister while a still-high Jessica roamed the streets, getting herself into even more trouble.
