Maya and Rick traveled to Forrester International, and Maya worried about burdening Zende and Nicole with watching Lizzie. Nicole's fertility test revealed that uterine scarring would drastically lessen Nicole's chances of having another child. As Nicole held Lizzie, Vivienne stated that Lizzie would always be Nicole's little girl. Ridge offered Zende the opportunity to design in Thomas' stead, but Steffy pushed for Eric and Ridge to join her in asking Thomas to return to Forrester. The Spectras feared that Thomas would leave them high and dry for his family's sake.

Tripp planned to set up Kayla. Ciara dumped Wyatt, told Theo she loved him, and left Salem to spend the summer in Hong Kong. Guy ratted out Xander and Deimos to Hope. After seeing a text, Nicole realized that Xander worked for Deimos. With Eric's help, Nicole knocked out Xander and held Deimos at gunpoint until the police arrived. Hope escorted Deimos back to Salem, but her chief witness, Guy, died in custody. Victor handed control of Titan to Sonny. The Titan jet crashed on an island, and Gabi blamed Chad's amulet for their bad luck. Brady's health declined, and Nicole rushed home to see him.

The people of Port Charles gathered at Metro Court for the 2017 Nurses Ball. Nathan was shocked when he discovered that Amy penned an advice column, posing as a man and using his picture. Curtis and Jordan made love. Michael was at Nelle's bedside when she woke up. Sonny discovered a powdery residue in the bottom of Morgan's prescription bottle, which was revealed to be a placebo tablet. Sonny put the pieces together when Dante revealed that Ava had been at the Floating Rib the night that Dante had found Morgan's pills in the bar. Sonny and Carly confronted Ava about tampering with Morgan's medication. Tensions mounted when Ava confirmed Sonny and Carly's suspicions. In a fit of rage, Ava smashed a hurricane lamp on the floor, igniting a blaze as Carly was knocked unconscious. Valentin serenaded Nina with a touching song, prompting her to give him a second chance. Anna was stunned when Valentin confessed that he'd sold the Chimera to Helena Cassadine. Jake performed his magic act. Valentin was horrified when he realized that Jake had unlocked the Chimera in preparation for unleashing the deadly biotoxin.

Nikki had mixed emotions when Victor arranged for her to play the piano at a charity event. Tessa freaked out when she spotted Zack, and she considered leaving town. Devon expressed interest in signing Tessa as his company's first artist. Scott told Sharon that he'd fallen in love with the wife of an arms dealer while on assignment. Chelsea bribed a mental hospital administrator into giving her information about Chloe. In Louisiana, Nick and Chelsea tracked down Dr. Harris, the psychiatrist who'd released Chloe. Dr. Harris claimed not to know where Chloe was, but a dazed Chloe emerged after Nick and Chelsea left. Scott overheard Victor on the phone with Dr. Harris. Victor tried to persuade Ashley to forgive Dina. Dina attempted to forge a relationship with Abby. Reed ended things with Zoey when he caught her making out with Charlie. Reed was disappointed when he learned that Billy and Phyllis were together. Hilary overheard Cane and Juliet discussing their one-night stand. Hilary later secretly videotaped Juliet admitting that she'd had sex with Cane. Lily requested a copy of her interview, and Hilary swapped it with footage of Juliet's confession. Victoria met with the hockey league, who agreed to uphold their deal if Brash & Sassy scrapped the commercial and Victoria fired the person responsible for airing the incriminating footage. Billy tried to resign, but Victoria opted to fire Juliet instead. Cane destroyed the flash drive with Juliet's confession before Lily had a chance to watch it.
