Hope married Thomas, but when she preferred to spend their wedding night with Douglas, Thomas convinced his son to urge her to stay with her groom. Hope opted for the sofa, leading Thomas to book a hotel getaway. Liam overheard an argument between Thomas and Flo. Liam enlisted Wyatt's help to get to the bottom of it, and Wyatt's conclusions led Liam to investigate Phoebe's adoption. Douglas overheard Thomas say that Phoebe was Beth, and despite Thomas' vicious threats, Douglas told Hope and Liam that Beth was alive.

Kate accidentally hit Sarah with an ice bucket. Lani was suspicious of Kate and Ted's story. Stefan made bail and confronted Kate about her motives. Brady did not see the Nicole mask before Xander returned it to Kristen. Kristen told Xander that she no longer wanted to work with him after he returned the mask to her. Sarah and Rex moved into the Kiriakis mansion. Xander told Sarah that he had saved Kate and Ted from Stefan. The DiMera board suspended Stefan as CEO, so Gabi suggested they marry so she could run the company during his absence. Jennifer was unsuccessful in her attempt to date. Eve swapped out the real serum with a fake before she injected it into Jack. When Jack found Eve had burned Rolf's diary, he learned of Eve's betrayal and he demanded a divorce. Haley's PTSD worsened, and she grew closer to Tripp. "Nicole" visited Andre DiMera.

Lulu bumped into Dustin at the Floating Rib during a night out with Maxie. Rocco confided to Peter about Dante. Ava was livid when she read the Crimson article about her, and she accused Nina of a smear job. Valentin taunted Ava, but she turned the tables on him by reminding Valentin that she had watched him murder Nikolas. Nina invited Jax and Hayden to dinner at Wyndemere with the hope of figuring out why Jax had a file on Cassandra Pierce. A psychic passed on a message from Kiki to Franco. Franco asked about Sibley's warning that he would soon not be feeling himself, but Chelsea cautioned him not to take "that drive." Nelle asked Michael to visit her. Nelle mentioned to her cellmate that it was her son's birthday, prompting Lorraine to talk about her grandson. Nelle realized that Shiloh believed that "Wiley" was his son. Sonny and Carly received more bad news about their unborn baby. Carly opened up to Jason, and she asked him to keep an eye on Dev because she and Sonny would be focused on the baby. Chase was surprised when Finn talked about the unborn child that Finn had shared with Hayden. Chase and Willow confessed that they loved each other. Cameron went to great lengths to return a special memento to Josslyn.

Adam forced Michael to withdraw from Nick's case. Nick insisted on proceeding without an attorney. Adam arranged for Kevin to publicly release the incriminating video of Nick during the custody hearing. Adam offered to give up his quest for Christian in exchange for Chelsea and Connor, but Chelsea refused. After hearing Nick and Adam verbally clash, the judge ruled that neither of them was fit to have custody of Christian. Over Rey's objections, Sharon agreed to help Adam by serving as Christian's temporary guardian, but the judge appointed Victoria instead. Rey walked out on Sharon. Michael urged Kevin to leave town while Adam was distracted by the custody battle. Victor considered suspending his treatments. Victor demanded that Chelsea allow Connor to return to Genoa City. Phyllis and Abby agreed to do business together. Summer was uncomfortable with Theo and Phyllis working together. Phyllis made plans for a second acquisition. Victoria suggested that she and Phyllis work together to take Adam down. Lola worried when Kyle remained evasive about his life in New York. Abby and Nate made love. Ana reported that Jett was in the hospital and left town to be with him. Billy confided in Sharon about his disturbing dreams about Delia. Theo blabbed to Celeste about Lola's surgery and Kyle and Summer's marriage. Celeste and Phyllis bonded. Feeling unneeded by her children, Celeste decided to go back to Miami. Ashley and Jack returned from Paris and announced their plan to merge their companies.
