Penny Escobar was fraught with guilt for her part in faking Sally's diagnosis, but Sally dangled the hope of a job at Forrester in front of Penny to keep her silent. Sally continued her ruse with Wyatt and Flo, hoping to buy herself time to win Wyatt back. Shauna showed Quinn the video Shauna had taken of Bill and Brooke in the cabin. Shauna deleted the footage but not before Quinn pilfered it from Shauna's phone and uploaded it to Brooke's new digital photo frame. As Shauna packed to leave town, the video played at Brooke and Ridge's reunion party, and Ridge and Katie lambasted Bill and Brooke for their infidelity.

Sonny convinced Evan to do what was best for David and to turn in Orpheus. Ben got out of prison and holed up in a hotel with Ciara. Maggie entered a guilty plea and prepared to go to prison. Xander doctored the maternity test results so that Nicole would believe that Mackenzie was Sarah's daughter. Nicole remained suspicious of Xander. Kayla filled in Hope about the events of the previous year. Stefano sent divorce papers to John. Chad placed Abigail and Kate in the dungeons, and they were rescued by Abigail. Hattie dumped Roman and left Salem. Chad forced Kristen and Tony to watch as Stefano married Marlena. Hope remembered that Stefano had told Gina about his new Maison Blanche. Brady intervened as Chad held Kristen and Tony at gunpoint. John found Marlena with Stefano before they consummated their marriage.

Sam's parole officer caught Spinelli spying on her during an illicit tryst with a married lover. Delores had Spinelli arrested, but Sam called on Alexis to help Spinelli. Delores agreed to drop the charges against Spinelli in exchange for his silence, but she warned Sam that the attempt to blackmail her had only made Delores more determined to keep a close eye on Sam. Sam lashed out at Alexis but immediately apologized to her mother for the harsh words. A shaken Alexis succumbed to temptation and drank a shot of alcohol, but she called Julian before taking a second drink. Ned was forced to fire Brook Lynn from her job at ELQ. Hurt, Brook Lynn decided to give her shares of ELQ to Linc in exchange for being released from her contract with the sleazy record producer. Jordan's hopes were dashed when Cyrus refused to release T.J. until Cyrus had been released from Pentonville. Sonny and Jason realized that Cyrus had used T.J. to control Jordan, so Curtis persuaded Jordan to work with Sonny to take down Cyrus. Sonny received a call when Mike was taken to the hospital for an injured wrist. Nina hired Nelle so she could keep a close eye on Nelle. Maxie and Sasha were stunned when Lucy revealed that Valentin had invested in Deception. Michael was alarmed when Wiley had trouble breathing. Monica determined that the hole in Wiley's heart had not closed; she recommended surgery, but Nelle refused to consent to the operation because it was considered elective. Cameron had a session with Neil. Britt thought that Neil seemed familiar, but he did not recognize her. Britt blasted Nikolas for hurting Spencer. Finn and Anna moved ahead with their wedding plans.

Adam and Chelsea worked together to manipulate Alyssa into investigating Victor's possible role in A.J.'s death. Victor examined old newspaper articles he'd kept about Cliff and A.J.'s tragic accidents. After having some second thoughts, Adam decided to continue with his plot to end his war with Victor. Sharon counseled Victoria. Victoria suffered chest pains and was rushed to the hospital. Kyle envisioned his future with Summer. Mariah made one last emotional appeal to Tessa, and the duo reunited. After getting Sharon's blessing, Mariah decided to go on tour with Tessa for a while. Theo and Lola spent more time together, but she maintained that she wasn't ready for anything serious. Theo pressed Kendra for information as part of his plan to take over at Jabot. Jack, Ashley, and Traci struggled with having Dina return home. The Abbott siblings were driven to tears when they read Dina's end-of-life documentation, which included Dina expressing her regrets in an essay about what she wanted her loved ones to know. Jack turned to Jill when he needed a friend. Nick and Phyllis danced around their obvious attraction while both maintained that they were just friends. Jared was jailed after a fight with his landlord, but Nate and Amanda bailed Jared out and got the charges dropped. Jared accepted Elena's job offer at the clinic. Lily assured Billy that she didn't consider it inevitable that he'd screw up again. Nick was livid to learn that Billy was his new tenant.
