One of Stefano's minions poisoned Anna just before she could tell Rafe who had masterminded Sydney's kidnapping. Stefano took credit for Anna's silence. Sami continued to fall under E.J.'s charm, unaware that his secret could destroy her world. E.J. tried to help Will and Sami reconcile; meanwhile Stefano seemed able and willing to guide Will down the DiMera path. E.J. and Stefano disagreed about child rearing. Sami and Will clashed over her lifestyle. Nighttime Hope attacked Roman, but was unaware that Nicole forced Dr. Baker to incriminate Arianna for the mugging crimes. Hope arrested Arianna based on the DNA evidence. Nicole's plan to implicate Arianna to win back Brady seemed to work like a charm. Nicole played the sympathetic friend to a clueless Brady. Chloe told Philip that Nathan knew she cheated on Daniel. Carly overheard Chloe and Nathan arguing and later realized that Chloe had cheated on Daniel. Daniel almost caught a guilty Philip in a lie. Daniel sought couples advice from Father Matt. Melanie and Stephanie had a drag-out fight at the nurse's stations about Nathan. Maggie asked Melanie why she thought Stephanie might hurt Nathan. Stephanie put her plan in motion to trap Nathan. Bo returned from Los Angeles to learn that the muggings continued, and this time Roman was the victim.
Jason and Sam had a romantic getaway before Jason turned himself over to the police. Mayor Floyd threw up a roadblock to delay Jason's transfer to Pentonville. Dante resorted to blackmail, in order to force the mayor to back down. Carter jumped to Michael's aid when Frank threatened to teach Michael that the Corinthos name didn't carry any weight in prison. Carter made it clear that everything in prison, including his help, had a price. Michael grew alarmed when Carter showed up in Michael's jail cell after lockdown to collect payment. Carly remained determined to destroy Dante and Lulu. Lulu feared that Dante would never look at her the same if he knew that she had an abortion before they had met. Carly discovered that Dante knew Brook Lynn Ashton. A quick investigation revealed that Brook had been having financial difficulties that had led to legal troubles for credit card fraud. Carly tracked down Brook. Claire admitted to Lucky that her biological clock was ticking. Nikolas tried to warn Lucky that trouble was brewing when Helena suddenly disappeared. Luke suspected that something was wrong when Tracy failed to show up at the casino to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Helena stashed Tracy in a dungeon in the hopes of luring Luke into a trap. Patrick admitted that he was jealous when he saw Lisa flirting with Steve. Robin was determined to honor Stone by working in the AIDS wing. Maxie decided to snap Spinelli out of his depression by making him jealous.

Markko was furious when he discovered that Langston and Ford had been sleeping together. Markko broke things off with Langston and then moved out. Matthew kissed Danielle and then declared his love for her. Matthew was disappointed when Danielle mumbled, "That's sweet," before fleeing into her suite. Starr was delighted when Cole was released from jail long enough to attend the prom with her. Layla walked out on the prom when it was announced that Cris and Jessica had been elected the prom king and queen. Cris followed Layla and then proposed marriage to her. Layla happily agreed to marry Cris. Jessica was crushed when she witnessed Cris's proposal. Brody revealed to Jessica that Mitch had tried to rape her. Jessica refused to believe Brody. Jessica went to Cris's place to make another attempt to convince him that they were destined to be together. Ford took advantage of Jessica's fragile state of mind. Jessica's memories rushed back while she was in bed with Ford. Marty realized that John was in love with Natalie, so she broke things off with him. Natalie misinterpreted John and Marty's goodbye kiss. Natalie waited at Rodi's for John to show up, but when he didn't arrive by midnight, she went to Brody's place to get a lift to the airport. Natalie and Brody used alcohol and sex to try to escape their broken hearts. Afterwards, Natalie went to the airport, where she encountered John. Brody's prayers were answered when Jessica turned up on his doorstep with news that her memories had returned.

Jana still felt no emotion and no connection to Kevin. Ryder returned to Genoa City to turn himself in and apologize to Kevin. Kevin blamed Ryder, Daisy, and Sarah for Jana's condition. Frank Ellis, the man that Adam hired to forge Victor's diary, tried to stab Nick in prison. Michael got Nick released on bail due to the attempt on Nick's life. Phyllis and Sharon continued to work together to track down leads on Adam's murder. They discovered that Adam spent time in Minneapolis before his death. Ashley accepted Tucker's offer to be the CEO of Jabot, as long as she was the only Abbott that worked there. Abby wanted to produce her own reality show with her inheritance from Brad. Ashley and Victor did not like the idea of a reality show, so they refused to give Abby her inheritance. Abby was determined to get the money and become famous. Tucker told J.T. that he was the reason J.T. got custody of Reed. Tucker asked J.T. to return the favor by spying on Victoria. Mac told Cane that she did not want to use the twin's stem cells for Lily's treatment. Lily found a clinical trial in France that used adult stem cells to ward off cancer. Lily went to France to get the treatment, but Cane feared it would not be as effective as the babies' stem cells. Cane consulted a lawyer to see if he could sue Mac for the stem cells.
