Brooke and Oliver discussed their accidental sexual encounter and decided to keep it a secret from everyone. Stephanie dragged Pam to the cabin at Big Bear to enlighten her that Stephen was using her. Stephanie insisted that Pam had to break off her relationship with Stephen, but Pam called Stephen and told him she was trapped at Big Bear with Stephanie. Stephen showed up at Big Bear with a gun, and he told Pam to shoot Stephanie. Pam couldn't do it, and Stephanie took the gun. Stephanie shot Stephen in the shoulder and she said it felt good. Then, Stephanie moved in to shoot him again. "Say hello to Beth for me," Stephanie said. In Los Angeles, Katie, Bill and Brooke met with Mike Guthrie and discovered that Stephen had purchased a gun from Mike. Katie, Bill, and Brooke surmised that Stephen was headed to Big Bear to shoot Stephanie. At an impromptu baby shower for Bridget, Aggie tattled to Nick that Owen was the father of Bridget's baby, and Bridget's pregnancy was the result of an affair with Owen. Nick didn't believe it. He later quizzed Bridget about Aggie's accusations and begged her to tell him that it wasn't true. Bridget tearfully stared at Nick.

What happened during the week of
Shane and Rafe escaped from their hellhole South American prison and headed back to Salem. Anna was MIA. Dr. Baker drugged Brady when he came close to learning the truth that Nicole had framed Arianna. Brady was devastated that Arianna believed that he fell off the wagon, and Nicole made sure she was close by to comfort him. Nicole warned Dr. Baker not to mess with Brady again, or else. Chloe and Daniel's wedding plans remained uncertain. Chloe admitted to Nicole and in confession to Father Matt that she was unfaithful to Daniel. Carly and Father Matt pleaded with Chloe to tell Daniel the truth before she married him. Nicole pressured Chloe to marry Daniel regardless of her indiscretion. Melanie feared for Daniel's happiness. Daniel questioned Chloe's unstable behavior and asked her to tell him the truth. Bo and Carly recalled fond memories of Alice. Horton family and friends, including Bill, Marie, Doug, Julie, Laura, Jennifer, Melissa, and Kayla, arrived in Salem to pay one last visit to a seriously ailing Alice. Kate's visit to the Horton home stirred bad memories for Laura. Caroline gave Victor the cold shoulder about his marriage to Vivian. Maggie received good news from Daniel that her myasthenia gravis was in remission. Will was disgusted with Sami when she announced that she planned to live permanently at the DiMera mansion. Julie counseled Sami to be wary about a renewed relationship with E.J. Kate impersonated Madeline at the bank so that she could steal a tape that might incriminate her, Madeline, and Stefano. Chad's parents were unhappy with his decision to attend University of Salem and remain friendly with Mia and Will.

What happened during the week of
Steve and Lisa hit the sheets. Elizabeth was able to access the trust funds that Jason had set up for the boys. Elizabeth let her brother know that she intended to invest, along with him, in his friend's breakthrough drug. The warden questioned Jason after Carter's body was discovered. Three prisoners, who had worked near the showers at the time of Carter's murder, denied seeing Jason. Dante pleaded with Judge Carroll to reconsider Michael's sentence. Judge Carroll was saddened to learn that Michael had been attacked. The judge agreed to release Michael on the condition that Michael moved in with Dante. Judge Carroll also made it clear that Sonny was to stay away from Michael. Michael pleaded with Carly not to seek revenge for what had happened to him. Carly and Brook staged an argument for Lulu's benefit to plant some seeds of doubt about Dante. Carly confessed to Lulu that she feared that Dante would be as faithless as Sonny. Kristina was determined to hurt Sonny by pretending to date Johnny. Sonny was furious when he caught Kristina and Johnny holding hands. Johnny informed Sonny that Kristina was old enough to consent to sex, so Sonny couldn't stop them from dating. Sonny vowed to kill Johnny for sleeping with Kristina. Olivia ended things with Johnny after she walked in on Johnny and Kristina in the penthouse. Tracy refused to fly to Las Vegas to marry Luke. Claire set her sights on Franco after he sent Dante a photograph of a crime scene in Chicago, which was taken before the police had arrived. Jason revealed to Claire that Franco had wanted a "death match" with Jason to see who the more efficient killer was.

Todd learned about Téa's terminal brain tumor. Todd refused to accept that Téa might die; he vowed that he would see Téa through her health crisis. Eli arranged for a new bail hearing to secure Cole's release from jail. Hannah feared that Cole was starting to believe the claims that she had pushed Marty, in order to frame Todd. Hannah was disappointed when Cole decided to go to Starr's graduation rather than celebrate his freedom with her. Hannah lashed out at Marty. After he witnessed the heated confrontation between Hannah and Marty, John questioned Hannah about Ford. Langston and Starr graduated from high school. James abducted Starr after her graduation when he realized that Bull was after her. James revealed that he had stolen fifty thousand dollars from his criminal father. Dani and Nate found the money that James had hidden. Nate decided to give the money to his mother to ease her financial burdens. David tried to help Matthew recover from a broken heart by hiring two prostitutes. Destiny was stunned when she walked in on Matthew and the ladies of the evening. Viki warned Charlie that Dorian had a long history of targeting the men in Viki's life. Charlie promised Viki that she didn't have anything to worry about. David and Charlie intervened before Dorian and Viki's argument erupted into a food fight. Jessica opened up to Kelly about her fears that Tess or Bess might have attacked Ford. Kelly assured Jessica that there hadn't been any sign of Jessica's alternate personalities. Jessica and Kelly went to talk to Ford to get some answers. Ford informed John that he recalled the attack.

Jill was excited because her adoptive mother, Liz, was visiting Genoa City. Unfortunately, when Liz arrived, she fell very ill. The illness was serious, so Liz's sons, Snapper and Greg, showed up in town as well. Liz confessed to Snapper who Jill's biological parents were. Liz passed away with her family surrounding her. Sharon called Adam, and he professed his love to her. Nick feared that Sharon still had feelings for Adam. Nick's trial began. Victor and Jack tracked Adam and Skye to Brazil. Jack returned to Genoa City to support Nick. Victor stayed in Brazil to lure Adam and Skye out of hiding with a high-stakes poker game. Victor asked Sharon to come to Brazil to help him, and she did. Victoria went to Japan to solidify the Newmans' business holdings in Tokyo. Billy followed Victoria, so they could continue their fling in Japan. Ashley and Tucker also followed Victoria in an attempt to steal business from the Newmans in Tokyo. Ashley and Tucker got closer as they spied on Victoria. Ashley and Tucker made love. Amber sent Daniel divorce papers. Abby and Daniel hooked up in Victor's pool. Abby secretly taped them and leaked the footage onto the Internet.
