Jake was determined to salvage his marriage by taking Amanda away for a short trip. Amanda was guilt-ridden after she and JR slept together. JR insisted that he and Amanda had just been two friends comforting each other, so no one needed to know about their night together. Amanda was tempted to tell Jake the truth, but in the end, she decided to keep quiet because she didn't want to lose Jake. Jane finalized the sale of the hospital and then shocked everyone by announcing that David was her new partner, so he would be running the hospital. Kendall was certain that David had blackmailed her mother. Angie signed the consent form to begin treatment to restore her eyesight. Angie expressed an interest in hiring Maya to babysit Lucy. Maya felt that it would be too difficult to be around a baby after she gave up her own daughter. Colby grew concerned when she spotted evidence that Maya might have been abused. Maya denied that anyone had hurt her, but Colby wasn't convinced. Bianca grew increasingly uncomfortable as she and Marissa sat on a bed watching television. Marissa feared that she might have said something to upset Bianca, so Bianca admitted that she was attracted to Marissa. Greenlee confided to Kendall that it bothered her that Madison acted as if she could get Ryan. Kendall advised her friend to focus on what Greenlee had with Ryan instead of worrying about Madison's misguided beliefs.

What happened during the week of
Amber gave birth to Marcus' baby girl, and they chose to name her Ambrosia. They planned to call her Rosie. Marcus warned Amber that she would not trap him the way she had tried to trap Liam. Bill, Brooke, and Katie celebrated that Amber was out of their lives, and Liam headed to Big Bear to find Hope. Liam interrupted Oliver's marriage proposal to Hope. Liam announced that Amber had given birth to Marcus' baby, but Amber had thought that it was Oliver's baby. Oliver made a quick exit. Hope and Liam celebrated. Brooke told Ridge that he should marry Taylor and put his family back together. Ridge went directly to Taylor's place and proposed while Steffy and Thomas watched. Taylor happily agreed to marry Ridge. Brooke told her sisters that she thought she'd had sex with Thomas on the island when she had eaten the hallucinogenic berries, but she couldn't remember it. Stephanie visited Brooke and shared the news that Taylor and Ridge were going to marry. Brooke was devastated. Bill tried to get information out of Hope about Brooke's resignation and her separation from Ridge.

What happened during the week of
Chloe lied to Justin about her arrangement with Quinn and told him that she would be on her best behavior to win partial custody of Parker. Kate was not happy that she had no solid evidence to use against Chloe. At the hideout, fake Rafe admitted on tape that he had murdered Faye, and implicated Stefano and E.J. for masterminding the plan to switch him with Rafe. Daniel told Lexie that he had found E.J. near death at the pier and rushed him to the nearby clinic to get him immediate medical attention. Lexie called Bo and asked him to find out who had beaten up E.J. Later, Carly and Jennifer helped Daniel and Melanie cover up for Brady who had assaulted E.J. for his part in Arianna's death. Carly and Jennifer came clean to Hope and told her that Brady had beaten up E.J. Taylor believed that Rafe had murdered her mother and could not understand why the police did not arrest him. Taylor, frustrated and angry about her mother's murder, rushed off to tell Nicole what she had learned, and then planned to tell E.J. the news, unaware that he had been attacked and was in the hospital. Victor caught Melanie in a lie to protect Brady, but realized that Brady was responsible for E.J. 's injuries. Victor warned Brady that if Stefano found out that Brady had attacked E.J., many lives would be in danger. Meanwhile, Rafe and Hope tried to stop Taylor from talking to E.J. so that Bo had time to force him to confess to the Rafe switch and his part in Fay's death. Hope found Taylor, but in an attempt to get away from Hope, Taylor knocked Hope unconscious and then fled the scene. To keep the Walker women from blowing his plan with Rafe and Hope, Bo arrested Taylor for assaulting Hope, and then arrested Nicole for some bogus reason to keep them from E.J. Abigail admitted to Adrienne that she was dating Chad DiMera. Chad decided not to tell Abigail that he was working for his father but then felt guilty when Abigail defended Chad to Adrienne. Jennifer became suspicious of Carly and wondered if she was using drugs and responsible for the missing drugs at the hospital. Melanie told Maggie that Brady had beaten up E.J. and begged her to find a way to get Victor out of Salem before real trouble erupted. Gabi made the moves on Will, but after talking to Caroline realized why Will wanted to take things slowly. Kate decided that Abigail could be a threat to Stefano's relationship with Chad.

Lulu went to Florida to find her father. Elizabeth found Lucky at the Haunted Star on the verge of taking a drink of scotch, so she told him that Aiden was his son. Lucky pushed the drink aside because he didn't want Aiden to look at him the way that Lucky looked at Luke. Lucky was relieved when Siobhan woke up after her surgery. Siobhan admitted that she had known that Aiden was his son, but she hadn't told Lucky because it hadn't been her secret. Lucky vowed to make his marriage to Siobhan work. Nikolas was certain that Elizabeth had lied about Lucky being Aiden's father to keep Lucky from drinking. Elizabeth assured Nikolas that she had a paternity test to prove that Aiden was Lucky's son, but Nikolas accused her of altering the results. Michael went to work for Sonny at the warehouse. Edward offered Abby a job under the condition that Michael also agreed to work for ELQ. Lisa lapsed into a coma after she had injected herself with a syringe filled with drain cleaner. Steve revealed that Lisa was not expected to wake up from the coma if she survived the deadly injection. Maxie was stunned when Spinelli woke up after surgery and then introduced himself as Jackal, P.I. Jason became concerned when he realized that Spinelli was unable to access the organization's off-shore accounts. Robin revealed that Sam's pregnancy test was negative. Jax asked Brenda to testify at the custody hearing.

Nate was rattled when he learned that Rick knew that Nate had been responsible for Matthew's head injury. Bo questioned Matthew about the injury. Bo was confused when it appeared that Matthew had identified Eddie Ford as the assailant. The man with the scar posed as deceased Agent Kent when Agent Baker called for an update. The man with the scar assured Agent Baker that the man that they had been searching for was dead. Sam provided his father's address to the man with the scar. The man with the scar promised Sam that nothing bad would happen to Todd Manning. John was curious how much it had cost Todd to get Brad to confess to locking Gigi in the basement. Rex was stunned to learn that Jack had been released from custody. Rex discovered that Gigi had written a will, and requested a health proxy prior to her death. Echo forged Gigi's signature on the proxy and then filed it at the court, so that Rex would be able to stop Clint from receiving Gigi's heart. Dorian and David returned to Llanview, but their marriage had hit a bump because Dorian had found an actress's bra in David's dressing room. David denied that he'de had an affair with the actress, but compromising pictures of David and the actress suggested otherwise. Unbeknownst to David and Dorian, Echo had arranged for the incriminating pictures to be sent to Dorian. James wasn't happy to meet Starr's new friend, Baz, who was revealed to be Tomas' son.

Kay learned that Mac and J.T. had a daughter. Victor offered Victoria a seat on the Newman board. Sofia confessed to Malcolm that she wasn't sure who the father of her baby was because she'd slept with both him and Neil. Jack became Jabot CEO. Victor convinced Walsh to reinstate Ashley's bail by discrediting Diane as a witness. Because of diplomatic immunity, Colin was freed. Lily told Cane she wanted nothing to do with him. Phyllis confided to Nick that getting Lucy had jeopardized her relationships with Summer and Daniel. Victoria decided not to take Billy back when she found he'd reverted to his bad-boy ways. Diane, Adam, and Jack were called before a grand jury investigating the Newman IPO stock manipulation. Sharon refused hospital care for a severely cut leg. Jill's marriage to Colin was legally declared a fraud. Tucker awoke from the coma and asked Ashley why Abby had tried to kill him. After telling Victor that she'd driven the car that hit Tucker, Abby decided to broadcast her confession on television.
