What happened during the week of
Bill emotionally confessed to Katie that he was terrified that he would lose Katie if she were pregnant. He didn't think it was safe for her to be pregnant because of her heart transplant and heart problems. Katie tried to calm his fears. Brooke told Katie about the annulment papers that Steffy had signed and Liam had destroyed. Ridge, Bill, Stephanie, Steffy, Brooke, and Katie all knew about the papers. Steffy told everyone that she was convinced Liam wouldn't end their marriage, but she was prepared if he did. Dr. Barton suggested that Hope should reach out to her father, Deacon Sharpe, to deal with her abandonment issues. Bill listened in on Hope's entire session with Dr. Barton, thanks to a listening device he'd had Alison plant in the office. Bill and Justin visited Deacon, who was in jail. Bill offered Deacon a deal to get out of jail as long as Deacon did something for Bill that had to do with Hope. Deacon refused, but Bill bribed the warden. Deacon agreed. Ridge refused to design Hope's wedding gown because it would hurt Steffy. Brooke told Hope that Eric would design the gown. Hope said that she might want Deacon to walk her down he aisle, but Brooke frantically urged her to avoid Deacon.

What happened during the week of
John, Bo, Hope, Shane, and Rafe arrested Stefano and hoped that he would be booked and in jail for a very long time. CIA Agent Newman informed the ISA team that Stefano was working undercover for the agency and ordered his release from police custody. The team was furious that Stefano had found yet another way to avoid serving time. Lexie struggled with the stress of being a being a DiMera as well as her progressing illness. Stefano tried to lift Lexie's spirits and hosted a family luncheon for her at the DiMera mansion. Chad told Stefano that he wanted to rejoin the family, but that he would not be involved in any illegal activities. Maggie confronted Victor about the secret that he was keeping from her. She was devastated when he admitted that he was the one who had stolen her eggs from the lab that had helped Daniel's mother become pregnant. She was so furious that he had lied to her for months that she walked out on him. Marlena sidelined John's plan to take out Stefano; at least for the time being. John and Marlena spent the day with Abe and Lexie and recalled good times throughout the years of their friendship. Carrie and Rafe decided to tell Austin about their relationship, but before Carrie could talk to Austin, he accidentally learned that she was pregnant. Carrie feared that her pregnancy would change everything for her and Rafe. Austin was so excited about Carrie's pregnancy that he couldn't wait to share the news with Rafe and Nicole, who just happened to be at the hospital while Austin and Carrie were there. Carrie promised Nicole that she would not tell anyone that E.J. was the father of Nicole's baby. Gabi convinced Will not to go to the police about her alleged stalker; he agreed, but cautioned her to stop trying to break up Melanie and Chad. Kate gave Sami some sound advice on how to salvage her relationship with Will. E.J. was furious when he learned that Will had been taking orders from Stefano the entire time that he was working for him.

What happened during the week of
Sonny realized that Kate had dissociative identity disorder when he had a face-to-face encounter with Connie. Kate suffered a complete breakdown after learning that Connie had bragged about shooting out Anthony's tires. Sonny accepted Todd's offer for Sonny to drop the charges against Starr in exchange for Todd's silence about Kate's role in Cole and Hope's deaths. Starr's case was dismissed when Sonny requested that Michael change his story on the witness stand. Anthony was stunned when Johnny confessed that he had shot out the tires of Anthony's car. Johnny explained that Claudia had visited Johnny in a dream and had implored Johnny to kill Anthony for denying Claudia the opportunity to raise Johnny. Johnny admitted that he had persuaded Connie to take responsibility for the shooting, because Sonny would never be able to forgive a woman for killing a child. In a shocking twist, Johnny killed his grandfather in cold blood. Johnny planted Anthony's body in the Quartermaine boathouse, in an attempt to frame Tracy for the murder. Luke tried to help Tracy hide Anthony's body, but the body disappeared from under their noses. Carly contemplated giving Johnny a second chance. Molly questioned why Sam and Jason weren't together, so Sam told Molly about the rape and the baby's paternity. Molly accidentally spilled the beans to Alexis that Jason wasn't the father of Sam's baby. Jason told Monica that his biological mother, Susan, had given birth to twin boys: Jason and Franco. Sam warned Heather that it was only a matter of time before Steve learned that Heather had sold Franco on the black market. Maxie signed the paperwork, agreeing to testify against Matt. Mac was fired because of what had happened with Ronnie and the department's numerous unsolved cases. Kristina returned to Port Charles.

What happened during the week of
Nikki was overwhelmed when Jack proposed to her, but when she saw Sharon and Victor pursuing their romance, Nikki said yes to Jack. Danny told Daniel that he didn't regret his marriage to Phyllis because it had kept Daniel in his life. On the anniversary of Cassie's death, Daniel blamed himself for his part in her accident. Nick and Sharon wished Cassie had lived to know Faith. Noah returned home to be with family. Nikki and Victor recalled the happiness Cassie had created in their family. Daisy pestered Kevin to tell her about Daniel's involvement with Cassie. Chris confronted Cane about the Department of Justice investigation of Genevieve. When Cane chose not to testify against his mother and risk deportation, Genevieve decided to turn herself in to protect her family. Victor was livid because Genevieve's actions would invalidate his purchase of Beauty of Nature. Ricky pretended to be a freelancer to question Danny about Phyllis. When Danny informed Phyllis of Ricky's scheming, they were unaware that Ricky was listening in via a mini-cam. Neil told Sofia he could never love her like a wife, so Sofia decided to file for divorce. Jack was giddy about the judge's decision, which put him closer to getting Beauty of Nature. Jack also had more feeling in his toes. Sharon, Nick, Phyllis, Victor, Nikki, Jack, and Noah gathered at the Newman Ranch for a memorial dinner of Cassie's favorite foods. Ricky blackmailed Daisy to be his accomplice. Kay convinced Harmony to move back to the mansion. Devon couldn't forgive Harmony for her failures. Abby crushed on Carmine.

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2007
Greenlee became Josh's new neighbor. They were briefly stuck in an elevator, and Greenlee opened up to Josh and shared her thoughts with him. Greenlee appreciated his flirting. Greenlee decided to crash Spike's birthday party. Bad weather stranded a few of the guests during a power outage. Greenlee felt like the outsider as she spent time with Ryan and Kendall and their blended family. Ava asked Lily about Jonathan and their marriage. JR had an indecent proposal for Amanda. Jonathan's attraction for Ava was obvious to Amanda. Palmer took pleasure in Adam's foolishness after he realized that Adam was still in love with Krystal. Ava was jealous when she saw Sean kissing Colby. Later, she unwittingly returned the favor when Colby witnessed Sean kissing Ava. At the Roadside, Krystal, Tad, Babe, Jamie, and Opal celebrated their new business venture. Adam crashed the party. Opal wondered if Julia could be pregnant. Jamie suggested it might be time for Julia to go on vacation and visit her family.

Craig suspected Lucinda of poisoning him, but Meg begged him to drop the matter. Craig agreed to do so -- if Meg would marry him. Meg refused, so Craig offered to return Worldwide, as well. When Meg relayed Craig's proposal to Lucinda, Lucinda pressured Meg to use Craig to get the company back. The police dropped the charges against Carly, and Jack let her know that he was seeing another woman. Carly learned from Brad that Jack was with Katie. Jack allowed Carly to babysit the kids overnight while he spent the night with Katie. JJ and Sage were delighted with their mother's return, but Parker cut out on Carly, because he couldn't stand her presence. Carly interrupted Jack's date so they could search for Parker. Though Carly became upset to learn that, in her absence, many things had changed with her kids, she asserted that she wasn't about to let Katie play mommy to them. Will and Gwen reluctantly helped Cleo, who'd been mugged before she could leave town. They gave her a place to stay and got her a job, and Cleo began to fantasize about Will. Once Dusty learned that Lance was trying to blackmail Alison to leave town, Dusty coerced Lance to return to Las Vegas. Susan was still upset about Dusty "dumping" Emily, and Alison told him that he was good for Emily. Luke and Maddie met Noah, the new intern at WOAK. While Maddie hit it off with Noah, Luke seemed unenthused by Noah's work ethic. Henry prepared a "non-wedding ceremony" for himself and Vienna.

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2007
Ava offered Coop a writing job at Spaulding as a last resort to win him back. Olivia resorted to old tricks after making sure Mel learned that Rick was the father of Beth's baby to get some alone time with Jeffrey. Remy almost told Gus that Rafe was his son with Natalia. Reva learned that Cassie had changed the paternity tests of Beth's baby, but agreed to keep silent. Marina still had a soft spot for Cyrus and then later had fun with Frank after a bet. Cassie forgave Josh for his moment of passion at the jail with Reva, but Reva told Cassie that she would never have the love -- or the history -- that Reva shared with Josh and, sooner or later, Josh would realize the truth. Josh planned a surprise wedding for Cassie, but not before Cassie asked Josh to spend the night with Reva after her talk with Reva earlier that day. Mallet finally confided in Dinah the terrible secret that he was a hit man for a brief and very dark time in his life, but Dinah was there to understand and share his pain. Mallet's past was about to haunt him courtesy of his "former employer."

Keeping the memory alive: A look at what happened this week in 2007
Jessica recorded a video for her daughter in case the worst happened and she died. Viki was told that she could not be a donor for Jessica despite being a match. That left Antonio as the only other match, but Antonio had decided to take his daughter and leave town. Nash was able to track Antonio down and get him back -- and it might have been too late. Marty realized that the nightmares and flashes of images were suppressed memories of her murdering Spencer. Marty was horrified at the lengths that Miles had gone to in order to win her heart. He blackmailed her, threatening to reveal all if she did not marry him. Blair received a phone call, but the call was disconnected. When she checked caller ID, the number was unavailable.

Because Miguel was out of jail, he thought that he and Kay would get back together, but the deal Kay had made with Julian would bind her to Fox for the duration of their marriage. The Witches Committee paid Tabitha a visit because they didn't think that she was a bad witch anymore. Julian taunted Theresa about her secret because he thought he held all the cards. Ethan was dying to find out Theresa's secret. Whitney discovered Chad's infidelity in a not-so-pleasant way. She walked in on Chad having sex with Vincent. The blackmailer paid Spike off to dig up the dead johns and other dead bodies in order for him to frame Jessica for the murders. Luis' execution date was moved up, and no one could rescue him. The blackmailer approached Father Lonigan to let him know that he was there to kill him, and Father Lonigan was not at all surprised.
