Sean Blakemore joined the cast of General Hospital in February 2011.

Mr. Blakemore has starred in film, theater and television. The NAACP Theatre award recipient garnered rave reviews for his performances in Saturday Night At the Palace and The Marriage, and some of his film credits include Columbus Day, Motives, Motives 2, Blackout, Restraining Order, and Woman Thou Art Loosed. Mr. Blakemore's extensive television credits include Lie To Me, NCIS, Stargate Universe, Days of Our Lives, Bones, CSI: NY, The Unit, Into the West, The Shield, Cold Case, The Young and the Restless, Monk, ER, and The District.

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, Mr. Blakemore moved to the West Coast to continue work as an actor. In his spare time, he enjoys painting he's won several awards for his work and has been featured and sold in galleries throughout the world and he is also a humanitarian, who, over the past 15 years, has worked with Habitat for Humanity, My Friend's House, LA.org, Portfolio Gallery Mentorship and Feed the Homeless LA. Mr. Blakemore is a firm believer that "we must get involved in order to evolve," and he uses both his experience and success to advocate for youth across southern California and the U.S.
