Chris Bruno

At A Glance

Chris was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and raised in nearby Milford. His father, Scott Bruno, is also an actor; his mother is a school teacher and a nurse. He has a brother, Dylan. Chris graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.A. in theater, and began acting in a variety of commercials while supporting himself as a waiter and bartender.

On stage, Chris has appeared in The Travel Dance, Julius Caesar and The Cherry Orchard at the Musical Theater Works in New York City. At Playwrights Horizon, he appeared in Upon Other Fields. Chris also starred in three student films, two at New York University and one at SUNY Purchase.

Before AMC, Chris spent some time on Another World as playboy Dennis Wheeler.

Chris is an avid athlete who skis, plays football and tennis, and also enjoys sky-diving with Outward Bound. He plays on a semi-professional baseball team called The National Network. Chris attributes his acting career to a skiing injury, which resulted in some free time which he used to audition. Despite a near year-long romance with former teen singer Deborah "Debbie" Gibson, Chris is single and resides in Manhattan.
